HazzardAyre9 Where do you get your news ?

Where do you get your news. I’m not tawking about the latest gossip , but the real news ? This entry into HazzardAyre is aimed at our Tragic Valley area, and not just focused on TV, although that’s where I’m going to start here this morning.

Here in the Tragic Valley, our local main TV station started doing a morning edition that while just getting the bugs out of the show, is improperly staffed and hosted. After all , who sets up a show hosted by Husband and Wife? But KMVT-11 out of Twin Falls did just that. The two hosts are not long term, experienced broadcasters in any respect. The entire production reminds me of the early morning show I saw on Park City TV out of Park City Utah, although , the one on Park City TV is done much better.

So why do I watch? Because I wake up, turn on KSL-5 out of Salt Lake City, but to get even a quick look at the local weather, I turn on Rise & Shine on KMVT to see weather. But then switch back to KSL-5. Now obviously comparing KMVT to KSL or vice versa is like comparing apples to pears. KMVT will never gain the status of KSL. the local ad revenue streams don’t allow that, but could KMVT at least try? Okay then. As far as KTVB ? Not unless I’m flying or toewing to Boise, then maybe. But its one of those things that will set Confederate Star TV apart from all currently based and ran TV stations in the Tragic Valley. Confederate Star’s aim is to bring Salt Lake City quality TV including news casts to Idaho.

As far as print news, I often read the Deseret News, rather than the local publications. The Times News, just does not have the polish that the Deseret News, nor does the Buhl Herald . The option? The Hazzard County Gazzette, that includes between its pages, HazzardAyre, News.

I thought when , Chris Pruett took over as GM at KMVT, that he would overhaul the current operations, including news and newscasters , but all that happened was a substitution of who sat in the command chair. I once attempted to throw a piece of a peace offering to Chris, and met with him at KMVT, but after waiting for weeks on a return call for us at the Knytes of Anarchy to spend some money there, got the cold shoulder, we said and set our ad dollars towards RTV Tv network. But I wonder why KMVT’s news and general quality does not even try to get better? Even at the Twin Falls County Fair this past fall last year, had a lot of tech goofs. Watch next spring when Confederate Star TV , goes active in March of 2012.

Now here is an eye opener for you and it relates to KSL-5. In our area, if your a broadcast operation , it does not matter if it be TV or Radio, or print, if your not LDS or LDS friendly, your not going to get aired. Or at least , not without spending tons of money. In essence spend enough money to offset any backlash from LDS owned business’s. Saying that , when the Knytes put ads on KSL-5 , a few years ago, not only did we get a bunch more leeway as far as content , including both copy as well as adding the spicy model talent for those ads. One would think, now wait a minute, KSL and the Deseret News is owned by the LDS Church. Should they not be as or more conservative than Idaho’s TV and/or print ? The answer is no. In fact in its hey day, when KEMK, Eagle Mountain Kountry, based out of then Tooele Utah went on the air and Long Haul Radio was on the air, 80% of the long haul drivers for Deseret Transportation , the church’s trucking company, tuned in and enjoyed our off the wall, and spicy radio.

So why the problems in southern Idaho? Don’t ya’ll think, that the Tragic Valley would like a more robust and exotic even erotic media company? Well ya’ll you wont have to wait long.

HazzardAyre 8 Web sites should be easy not a challenge

Good Monday morning, really cold outside, colder than Boss Hogg at mortgage paying time. Looks like its going to be somewhat sunny, but bundle up as I said cold really cold.

In the interests of doing up some extending a branch of friendliness, I visited HazzardNet, and found out signing up was as hard as getting out of a speeding ticket from Sheriff Roscoe. And them damn captchas, those are absolutely stupid. I know there there to prevent spamming and all, but should there not be a better way?

I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the more complex it is for newbees to navigate much less sign up for anything the less traffic you’ll get on your web site. If one hazz to answer 20 questions and all, the likelihood of someone going elsewhere is greater than if you keep it simple.

More on all of this, but still coughing up phlem, so its meds , fed and bed. 10:00 hours comes all too soon. And I need to be in gear before then , hauling junk steel today.

When it comes to the Dukes-of-Hazzard , there are many copies, but only one original, we are the only ones recognized as and by the show, we are the Knytes-of-Anarchy, and we never rest. Although a slight snooze is in order.

HazzardAyre7 Never rest

If you reside in Idaho, did you catch KTVB out of Boise’s late news cast? Did it seem a bit lame? Sure did to me. Now Sunday of course , is not always a BIG news day. Little did I see anything about anything REALLY going on in Idaho, even Boise. Most of it was as I watched was filler pieces and not much else, except weather.

When news departments do these filler pieces, I ask, if they are running short of good pieces, why not do a feature on us in both the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and/or the Knytes-of-Anarchy the Mountain west chapter thereof? After all there are several, political races coming in 2012, that will kick off this year, running on the Confederate National Party, including Sheriff of Gooding County.

This lack of attention , both locally and nationally, is why the severe interest in establishing the only OTA or over the air radio station , primarily aimed at and by those of us in the SOCV as well as the CNP. Of course, I’m talking about KDXB or Dixie Broadcasting , FM 105.7 originating out of Buhl Idaho , here. Targeted with a first firing and sign on between February 1st 2011 and April 2nd 2011 . Beyond the radio station and blog here, the Knytes-of-Anarchy, publishes a area wide printed version of the newspaper from the Dukes, called the Hazzard County Gazzette, aka the Hazzard County Tymez(Times).

Of course there is, still under construction , the ultimate Dukes and Knytes website that will include, streaming of HazzardAyre Radio, but I need to ask, once again, is it just us, that said , when those cowards from Afghanistan decided to crash a couple of aircraft into the Twin Towers in NYC, we will not rest, on our laurels or back down. True Confederates, do not know the meaning of quit, or stop, and never retreat. It’s been said before , by me, and , on the Dukes, there is something about both Hazzard County endurance and Hazzard County Tenacity. Of course yes I know, allot of that was TV, but the story lines, and things learned from those story lines is what is in the spirit, of the 2000 members of the Mountain West chapter of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, which started life as the Hazzard County Knytes in the wee hours in Hazzard ( Hagerman ) in 1980. Knytes never rest. But the ignorance by the area’s mainstream media , including KTVB, KMVT and so on, plus the Slime News, will eventually come back to byte them on the butts. Did you know that several previous advertisers whose owners are Knytes as well as Knytes supporters, pulled their ads and squashed their ad contracts with those TV stations, when Cable – One and KMVT snubbed their noses at us at Hazzard County Choppers? As well as the Knytes as a whole? It’s not nice to snub the Knytes-of-Anarchy. Nor profitable. I’d open the door again if just once, one of these small market stations said okay we’ll do a article or feature on the club, if they did, I’d open talks about doing ads on these stations as well as the Slime News.

But since they wont, we don’t. But the Knytes-of-Anarchy never rest.

Oh and yes read here in months to come when the Confederate Star TV Network goes green about November of this coming year. The Confederate Star TV Network is a satellite/cable and soon to be a TV OTA, station/network, that is a bit more spicy than what ya’ll see in this region now.

HazzardAyre 6 When it comes to the Web, consider the Environment

Back in the day, when ye ole CB Radio was a hot item, there used to be , what I will call big Burtha’s and Bubba’s who sat at home in homes that stunk rancid with cat piss, baby piss, and hardly cleaned vaginas. These people would sit on these CB radio base stations, chatting the night away and most of the day. Many were underemployed if employed at all, many were drunks, and drug bunnies and stoners. Their homes would be ran down, mostly inhabited by mice, some smugly looking dawg, paint peeling from the outside, stucco falling off on the inside, and a few cavities from the often putting a fist or head in the wall, but the prized room sat ye ole CB, and outside an antenna that would rival many at most military ayre stations. There were of course those that thought they knew something about many things and yet knew less than that. Many loved to pick fights on the CB , thinking that they were unfindable and if you did, when they opened the front door to greet you, you fell over backwards from the stench. These same people would deny it was them, but YOU knew it was.

Today the CB has been replaced by the home desk top computer. And of course the Web, and Internet. In both cases its still people with little self respect, self worth and feel the need to degrade anything or anyone, that they don’t understand or criticize those that they are jealous of or envious of. People with a life, full of vigor and beating the odds.

Near where I exist is the town of Mountain Home. Many there, although I can’t understand why, seem to have little to nothing better to do than harryass ye ole Wolf here, and of course derail the Knytes and/or the AyreWolvez. Now as back in the day, with the CB , the same dillweeds in MHI, couldn’t do it and never will. The other day , I hauled past the pissyassed medium sized town the county seat of Ignore County Idaho, and amazingly the same bucketmouths that were there years ago, are still ratchejawing on the CB today.

I remember once years and years ago, when one of those same fat whores and his really dingy son, as the gal looked more like a guy than woman, got into a pissing contest with Bro. So us in the Knytes went on a rabbit hunt. A rabbit hunt for CB radio, has to do with using a directional antenna, and signal tracer to find heavily powered CB base stations. We found that location next to a old Shell Oil gas station where the bus stopped back in the day next to a Taco John’s. Now few knew this then, but a heavy sewing needle pushed through coax cable until it hits the inner connector shorts out the antenna, causes refraction to the finals in the high powered base station and for all intents KO’s that base station, we did, it did, and big mouth got silenced. Several others had the same happening, likewise before the Ignore County Sheriffs Drug Cartel, took hold, We caused several of the druggies from MHI, to be locked up for good. The funny thing is, in 1975 when the Knytes staged our first CB Radio/Truckers Jamboree I got the hots for some hot blonde from MHI by the handle of SweetSkunk. I saw her once , when the bus stopped at the same Shell station, when I went into the Marines, on the way to the Affees station in Boise. I tried to look her up when I got my first leave , just out of basic, but never did find out where she went. Funny thing for some disbelievers, that one that some say never served, I know and went through so much in the Marines, huh?

Now then, where was I? Oh yes, so back then it was the CB , today, its the PC and Web, but little has changed.

Oh don’t get me wrong, the web and PC can and is a great marketing , information and research tool. But also, there are so many things that are and were BEFORE the home PC and Web , that many things are unfindable. Just because its not online, does not mean it wasn’t or didn’t happen. Just means no one decided to get it online. Example; the Independent Truckers Association. The first organization SMB owner operator OTR truckers, has very little if any history online. Yet up until the time the organization folded just after the 1982 nationwide strike of independent long haulers, and the ITA became the United Independent Truckers Association, that is the main parent group of the Knytes of Anarchy and the AyreWolvez, and yet little 411 is available on line about the original organization. Even though the ITA, originally called the RoadMasters was the founding body of the then main printed bible to OTR O/O trucking, Overdrive Magazine. Something that began the need for us in the Knytes to find sweet hiney to pose with custom as well as just released OTR trucks, for a tasteful and classy centerfold. Mike Parkhurst the founder of both the RoadMasters and ITA as well as Overdrive, and later a short lived publication called Stacks, that we later relaunched as STAXX , was a man of both vision and real guts. Yet online , you find little if anything on him or the organizations. Of course when Mike sold out , to Randall Publishing , the publication Overdrive took a nose dive, with a slight attempt at reviving with a retro web site, but Overdrive will never be what it was. Of course OTR trucking itself has changed, its no longer the realm of long haul cowboys, today’s OTR truckers are men and women, with a feeling of pride and a can do attitude. Likewise us in toewing, are no longer the guy sitting on the overpass in sleeveless T shirts, unshaven , waiting to pounce upon the little old lady with the near broken down Ford Falcon. Today its trained, educated , professionals, with expensive equipment ready to respond and do a job, that few can or are willing to do. In toewing , the profession is more than a job , for many of us its more than a way to make a living, whether in old skool equipment, or those in multi thousand dollar trophy rigs, toewing is a passion and has its own rewards. I feel lucky that I trained with and learned from the best in the business. Remember, success is not achieved in a vacuum , your only as good as the people you work with and for, I feel blessed that I have been surrounded by the finest in the business. From Tommy at T-N-T and B&W Towing in Boise, to John Nausbaum of Johnny’s Towing in Twin Falls, to now with Chuck at A2J, of Twin Falls.

I wonder do people online, have no other life besides being online? If so that is pitiful.

Hazzard Ayre 5 Life in Idaho continues but its COLD!!

Life in Idaho continues albeit it being extremely cold. in fact its at a whopping 7 degrees outside. Went to get in General Jackson Friday night, but its so cold the moisture we had the previous day , froze the locks and doors on the old P-51 so no go. So had to wait until yesterday afternoon, with some sunshine, warming up some metal to unfreeze albeit barely the doors.

Some question my abilities and skills although , those that do, know little about me personally. There are some that assume based on heresy rather than actual fact, or facts. Even questioning the existence of the Knytes or the AyreWolvez. The facts are while I did not get the ability to serve as I’d have liked to, My step brother did who is still listed as MIA/POW, without any more contact from D-O-D, my Mother served, my Father served and I serve through them. Its because I know the sacrifices and all that all in and who were in the U.S. Armed Forces, that many return home without any kind of thank you, that even their continued service goes un noticed and the lack of both respect and honor all military deserve, is why I continue to fight for and because of them work , long hours to memorialize, their service. The ones who fly and flew for the defense and duty to this Union is one area, that looses some luster or something. While there are some memorial walls, and some military aviators are listed on those walls, very little is done to honor those who proudly wore and wear wings as their specialty in those Armed Forces. When the AyreWolvez was constructed in 2001 it was to not only give those with a love of those old warbirds and rotor craft that carried many into battle, and back out, but honor those who flew those aircraft, and have a place where all who were and are effected a place to vent emotions, both good and bad.

As far as my ability to fly, I hold a sport experimental certificate for rotor craft as well as fixed winged aircraft. Likewise , I’m working to get my overall GA certificate and rotor craft endorsement. The only reason my cousin Gordon is the CEO of AyreWolf Aviation is that he has the GA, but the company was started by my Father, and as such, through inheritance I own the company. The only reason the company has never been brought back to Idaho, is that there is not one hangar in Idaho to be had, and the business conditions of Idaho , has left allot of questions as to a real reason to build a facility. Likewise until I loose 70 pounds I’m grounded , but I still turn the wrenches and still manage the company.

As far as my continued Military service, I proudly claim the rank of Colonel in the United Confederate States Marines, and fight for all military and their families. Especially for those who flew and fly, in the American Armed Forces.

A Military Veterans site , without all the bullshit!!

I just laugh at all these PSA-Ads about web sites for returning Iraq Veterans as well as the wounded in many ways, etc. To join one of these sites, and be able to share resources, knowledge or just talk to someone that only another Vet would understand, you need to give your life history, DNA sample and a pint of blood damn near , just to be able to get off the tarmac. Bullshit. You , I and others who looked over both those deserts, flew over many, saw shit that few will ever see, more over experience and understand, do not need to put on a show, or hang out your military paperwork or pedigree just to get on the launch pad. Most of us, who go to these sites are looking for answers to specific questions, need help with applying for benefits, as well as getting our just rewards, without having to show our private parts to qualify .

One of the parts to the website being constructed for the AyreWolvez, is to be a no bull, one stop site for all Military, all branches, even for military spouses to find out about programs, file for benefits, find local resources, and ultimately , 24/7/365, having someone in the Military or that was in , to talk to about anything, from PTSD mood swings, to the wyld dreams one has. To just feeling left out, ignored and more over hated, just because you rose to the call , when your country needed you. It does not matter if ; your male, female, Army,Navy,Air-Force,Marines, Coast Guard, it don’t matter. If your military, from a military family, and need a no bull site, ours will be it.

When you were on Active duty, your bud’s had your back, at, soon to be AyreWolvez.org, we and you still do, without the crap and red tape.

Whether your into vintage, warbirds or not, although that’s the reason for the site to begin with, but as a group of retired, and discharged, Military and we know the problems, and like just about everything else, the AyreWolvez are here to fix those problems., Hell you don’t even need to pay any money, to access the website, nor will you ever be asked to donate, anything except maybe your time to chat with other Vets.
