When celebrities should retire and networks that not ought to encourage

I know I’m going to catch hell for this one but it must be said.

There are way too many old farts on TV that should retire.

Example: This week in Agribusiness on RFDTV , with Orion Samuelsson and Max Armstrong, should have hung it up years ago, guess the pension plan at WGN/Chicago Trib wasn’t enough. But their age is showing. I say boys go back to tricking out tractors, sit on your porch and allow new blood to flow in.

Larry Black’s Country Diner is another. Larry Black the official Ambassador to Tennessee, is a good as a celeb, but his show has aged. No new blood on either of the shows on that network. Imagine if Larry brought Emma on , the entire bunch would look pale in comparison. Thing is Larry wants to prolong careers that have seen better years.

Then there are those celebrities that are timeless that do not get air play or honor.

Like Larry’s other show, on RFDTV, not once do you see or have you heard any music from Waylon on there. In fact as I get it, Larry never invited Waylon on the show. Nor has Larry invited Waylon’s son Shooter. Granted Waylon is part of the OutLaw Country Music wave that the Nashville elite was for, but hey , Willie Nelson, Bobby Bare, Kris and heck even Johnny Cash was part of that OutLaw movement, and yet guaranteed if all were living today, Larry still wouldn’t invite them on or play their music.

There’s many current country stars today that owe zillions to Waylon for the doors he opened.

And oh yes, Waylon not only played in Idaho and Utah , he lived here as well in his early career days. Waylon lived in both Twin Falls and Blackfoot, Idaho, as well as Tooele and Salt Lake City Utah. Historical facts that you might not know.

And yet , you’ll be hard pressed to find a local radio station other than HazzardAyre/KDXB playing his or his son Shooter’s music. Question becomes , Why? Has anyone else here heard of Ralph Emery? A legend both in country music, and radio. Yet outside of a limited show you see only one, of Ralph’s programs on RFDTV. I have an idea for them at RFDTV, can some of the old fart music shows like that polka crap, and run the series of Ralphs that ran on TNN?CMT the Nashville Now. You might gain more listeners and viewers. Oh yes more advertisers.

Maybe its time to get networks to retire, and be replaced with those with the resources to be modern and current, like oh I say, Confederate Steele TV?

Begging no, deserving yes!!

This is not to sound like begging, but mine is deserving. No not asking for a hand out, as I’ll eventually get there myself, but I was watching that show now defunct on cable called Overhauled. The one that launched Courtney Hansen’ career. Any mile, they have these deserving folks getting remakes on their rides. Likewise Spike TV/PowerBlock does a show called Search and Restore. Instead of the person, how about the truck? Yes LexiBelle. I’d fall over in amazement if a crew from one of these shows even Trick out My Truck, showed up, took LexiBelle and rebuilt her.

Okay why? Let’s see, LexiBelle, rescued Evil Knievels Rocket Bike from the floor of the Snake River Canyon, after his failed jump there many years ago, and all too many rides of both famous and infamous people.

LexiBelle has done so many amazing things that it’d take more than a blog posting to tell all she’s done, but she does deserve a makeover , any volunteers?

Okay then, there’s a rumbling in my gut and its not that rotten tuna sandwich I had for lunch.

Although the fact that all day yesterday I was so sick that Mr. Porcelain throne and reading the words American Standard plumbing, so many times I saw the words in the partial dreams I was having during what little sleep I got.

The only thing I did Friday, outside of chasing down a few delinquent bills that nobody is able to pay me, dropping off some mail to Jared and Rick at A1, all I did was puke and shyt.

Then tried to go on air last night, but was too sick so went on auto pilot with DXB and went to sleep.

But I wonder about any continued going out to the River to church. Not canning the friendships one I consider precious, the others moderately so, but the allowance of ignorance and arrogance of some there, makes me wonder do I need to be there?

Can I absorb God’s messages from TV, and prayer? Maybe find a spot to have church for the Confederate Star?

As much as my good friend Jared, loves his lady, if the River was more welcoming , I think Jared would go, he saw a train coming in the wrong direction and got out of the way. I’m starting to see that light as well, and its not a nice light.

But I’m getting off course here.

If anybody knows these fellers at Overhauled as well as Search & Restore of RTM Productions of Nashville, tell them of LexiBelle, LexiBelle deserves restoration and a makeover.

Shades of Gray

Some of the voting for the 2014 Grammy’s is out, and guess what? HazzardAyre Radio has been voted as the most popular radio show in its genre in the USA. That’s right for the last consecutive 9 months, HazzardAyre has been rated both number one and number 2 in both Arbitron and Nielsen  Ratings. Not bad for a radio show that all too many laughed at.

To what do I owe this popularity? God . That’s about all, the rest is purtty much cliché , the fans, stations carrying us these last few years since 2010, however all of this, is not going in solo. AyreWolf FM Radio(HazzardAyre’s parent show) has been nominated as the most popular of military aviation and military aviation enthusiasts programming. Not bad for a radio gig, that all too many shit canned in 2007.

Now if I can just get my young friend Emma to go with me to the Grammy’s, or maybe that sweetheart I had coffee with last Wednesday.

On that, I’m sure she thought I was a piece of work that night. Oh sure I could have arrived in a fancy carrier, with a wad of cash. But sadly I missed getting money from big C earlier in the day, my truck looks like hell, why? When do I get time to work on my rigs? Thing is I came here to Twin Falls area, in late 2006, to do two things, rebuild the home charter of the Knytes, and two erect the radio station so that such things as HazzardAyre wouldn’t be subjected to censorship by the stations carrying our syndicated editions of the show.

I did not come here to go toew, or build scoots.

I got lead to mini Cassia by false promises, thank goodness the one who promised is dead, I didn’t do the snuffing but I’m damn glad somebody did. It took me two years to dig myself out of Mini cassia back to Twin Falls, and I thank God every day for Charlie and what he does for me.

There’s many people that put Charlie down and make him out to be a big asshole. Any one doing that near or in front of me will have blood on his body. Charlie is one of God’s chosen few and what he has done starting with very little business wise is one thing, the lives he’s changed by his kindness is another. He sure has changed mine, for the better. So I don’t mind cleaning the head at the shop as part of my duties there. That’s small compared to what I learn from Charlie.

Charlie really doesn’t need to go to church, as he’s already a saint.

Oh and maybe, Charlie saw something at the River, likewise Jared that I didn’t but am beginning to get a full picture of.

But I had to share the news of our nominations and all.

Any body know how to make soup?

I’m going to try to write some more, dang I’m sounding like Paul doing up the book of Corinthians, any measure , if I mis spell a word or two here understand I’m sick.

Now there’s certain skills us male corpuscles do not learn or if we do not very well.

Certain habits even hygiene habits we do lousy at. that women just do better. Like cleaning up after ourselves after we go potty.(nmbr2) I don’t know of many guys who walk out of the Lou without a skid stain or two.

Then there are others like doing the simplest of tasks like making chicken soup, that they say, is supposed to make one better when they have congestion with snotty nose. Although if I could stand up for very long I might be doing it better , I could not mix in a 1/4 can of water, in a pan and nuke it to eat. Which after making a terrible mess and cleaning that up, grabbed a ham sandwich and sat down to check emails, so then heading to an early go beddy bye.

Ah if my lady friend from church, could make chicken noodle soup and bring it over , might do me good ya’ll think?

Okay then other skills, warsh, I can but standing in a laundry with noisy kids, drives me up the wall and anymore its not a drive, but a short putt. Or sewing, there’s mending that I need done. Is there such a thing anymore as a seamstress? If there is, I ain’t found em. My pant cuffs are an example. Since I can’t hem a pair of jeans I cut off with scissors and do the retro 60’s frayed jean thing.

I just hate getting sick this time of year, oh and about Emma?

I just hate getting sick this time of year. I can’t quite figure out where I caught this bug , seemed okay Wednesday, but I woke up yesterday with a headache the size of Boss Hoggs belly. I mean I was in pain, like a two week party and just getting the hangover.

Throat sore, sniffles , blowing my nose, trying to catch my dribbles , I mean not good.

Got my housekeeping gal’s parts for her Durango pulled yesterday night, figured on going after all to that men’s getaway with the church, but by mid day, body said no you ain’t. So came home and decided to do some office work, clean trucks, and get the fuel tank back in LexiBelle. So that’s my weekend.

Now for Emma. You all know how much I think of this gal. Emma has talent far beyond her years. And way beyond some skanky TV show on RFDTV, I heard how Virginia Dreams gave the shaft to a good friend of mine who is part of Cooter’s Band.

Any mile the planning for the AyreWolvez AyreShow to be held over July 4th in Jackpot Nevada, is near done, now got to get the word out. And who better than Emma, so will be bringing her out here, showing her the area and so on. Of Course she’ll do up some great music, at the AyreShow as well as at the Horse Shoe Club there.

I’d write more , but meds are making me dizzy, talk at ya’ll overnight and on HazzardAyre Saturday afternoon.

You asked, I answer

Well it seems that after many hours of prayer, and consideration, my going to this getaway for the male corpuscles of the River Fellowship of Twin Falls, was just not for me. In fact I’m really praying that outside of one special lady from there that does my warsh and house, I am considering not going to the River Fellowship again, and start looking for a Church to go. More over where to erect The Church of Confederate Star, simply put its time.

I’m really sad that my lady friend got me a sleeping bag and all, but I awoke at 09:00 hours with a 102 degree fever, sniffling and all to where until just about an hour ago all I was welcoming is the reaper. But it wasn’t just that. I thought of how outside of Leslie and her friend, who I’d marry in a Hazzard County second, and whose Durango, is my prime project for Saturday, the rest of that congregation out there at the River has become so smug, that the River makes the Mormons look good. Maybe them Mormons are, maybe I need to go back there?

All I know any place that says they are representing and bringing people to Christ, that treats someone like I have been, ought to be ashamed at the very least of themselves. Its good that I have a thick skin, and shell, but I wonder what both Bryan’s Pastors of the River Fellowship, do when someone gets their feelings crushed there at the River do, and jump off the big bridge or something? Then what are they going to do, will it take that to get those elders at the River, to re-examine methods and attitudes?

So in closing, so I can try to fetch milk, and meds, no I’m not going to that gig in McCall, the men’s gig with the River, as far as going to Church there again Sunday, well, I need to pray on it some more.

I’m beginning to think we are reaching the end

I’m beginning to think we are nearing the end of the depth of information to be gleaned online.

I took a second or two to see if I could find the singers that did the old jingle to the Polaroid Swinger Camera ads of the late 60’s to mid 70’s. No damn luck.

There is a limit I think on time. Seems as the term statute of limitations is not just for legal stuff, the amount of information if you can find it at all , is limited to the time that information was important or current.

Anything before the onslaught of the web , is limited to music on YouTube, sure the tunes are there, but what about when it came out and who did it, especially the TV ads?

Now of course I know there is a data base out there for such things but its not public searchable.

Then you see a TV ad with a hot mama on it, you want to find who she is so YOU can feature her in an ad of yours. Good damn luck. I tried to find and still am, to find the real name, agent etc of the gal, that does the Forever Comfy seat cushion ads. That Trish D is darn good looking. Can I find it? Nope. Can’t even find who produced the ad or anything, make one wonder about the product as if you can’t find em where did your money go?

While much information today is more protected than in years before especially companies, that do media, is there a TV Commercial data base out there, that tells you who did what? Were? and When?

Okay still thinking on going to this Men’s getaway , with the guys of the River Fellowship, and I’ll say still thinking on it no final decision. This is the times that having somebody to sub on air, here, would be good, but its mostly weather, with a slight amount of hostility in my head as well. I guess true honesty is in the mind of the beholder. You want to trust but you get patronized too much or put off, you don’t get much from em. But maybe if they can’t just run off, maybe I can hogtie a few and siphon out some gray matter intelligence.

But are we getting to the end of available information on the web?
