What goes online, comes off even faster

new blog coverhazzardayre overknyte

Okay so got a inbox message in the Knytes email addy, with some gal as I reported earlier , from Heyburn. Groovy, hope she applies, hope she’s someone that’s as serious about it as we are, and hope she does it soon, would be great to have at least one reel of tape shot before it snows. If she works out as a pin up, we could graduate her into doing the TV ads and such so we see what hammers.

I get so many from so many tire kickers that its not funny. They email me, want more information, what more damn information do you need? One asked what else do we need from her, duh? How about a phone number and best time to call to book an interview?

So then I take time, go out to the mall at a better than the dark of night hours I used to do em, sit down in the food court devour my BLT and do the interview, oh if they want something I buy it. I ain’t that kind of wolf. Any mile, so then I’ll go over the project, tell em what they’ll be wearing and all, Get em in stockings, and clothes of the roaring 20’s when these old warbirds were popular, marinesdreamnot nude, but not fully clad either, a tasteful blend of sexy without being trashy. Of course as a club we want to add some class so the plan is to have more gowns and era style threads. But first we need gals that will take the project serious enough , plus, at $100.00 an hour they damn well better take it serious, and that’s just their wages, if you add in the time of a camera crew at $275.00 an hour and their expenses. If we book a photo shoot, and the gal don’t show, I get really pissed. And with AirPower Unlimited over at the Jerome Airport there are warbirds ready to shoot with along with the clubs. But doing that in the heart of the deep freeze of winter does not work out well.

Okay then, tried to go on air last night, again SpeedConnect was not connecting fast enough . the best download was only at just over 1.25mps, the upload was just at .088mps, but seems as I said good by day not by night. So the plan of a change is coming somewhere in late October or early November.

This, the models and all, really are making SLC , a real bright shining light, a helluva lot more bright than what Twinky Flatts has to deliver, so hope Alaine and Gabriella are serious. Haven’t heard from Gabriella yet. Maybe she’s a bot.

Noticed some of my other blogs and such from years gone by that I worked on in Utah are now faded. Seems as if you don’t keep the names up or line Google’s pocket with an ad or two, your forgotten, hopefully with one of these gals that have pledged to being one of the AyreWolvez, SheWolvez, that ad problem will be cured. Hope one has tiny toes.

More on that next time.

Headed for bed.

Oh forgot, one of my rituals is sitting on the tail of LiL Wolf, at night when I’m having my chew for the evening. Most of Twin Falls’ cops don’t say anything a few even wave back, but I watch the public, and its darn near as entertaining as cable TV, hearing green horn truckers trying to shift gears at the stop light and all, or when one is pushing it a bit to beat the lights and it changes. Those brakes just smoke. It’s funny.

Any mile, L8R Aviators, this old Wolf with wings is tyred.

Keep It Wings Level,

Still plugged up and 6 still beats 7 in more ways than the other.

sundown turnaround

As the day turns into night and as the whisper of a whopperwhill comes from the trees, the condition that I’ve been battling all day of a very serious plumbing back up, is now complete and all flowing normally. There’s also the plugged up condition of historical thought.

Example, got a inquiry from a sweet looking gal from our old homestead of Heyburn. Great, question is, where was she when we were there a year and a half ago. Heck we’d already have the thing shot, cover page made and online on our own website. Will further this, as I instructed her that she should give me a jingle set a time at the Mall and have a interview/pow-wow. Again when we had more of a facility, I was there and all, where was she? Is it that we are in Twin Falls as well as SLC that is getting some interest?

Okay then, on streaming news. Did a comparison. Clicked on KPVI’s news from Pocatello, and KTVB’s from Boise.

KPVI’s loaded easier and had no problems staying operational. KTVB’s was okay after nearly half way through the newscast. But dig this, that sweet little blonde on KPVI makes greater eye candy and makes one want to watch more. KTVB’s? Still the same people, still stale. And takes longer to load the page. Further evaluation needs to be done to make a definitive victory call here, but I’ll go with KPVI out of Pocatello as being the best streaming newscast. Just wish Doug at KPVI would give the temps for Twin Falls and Burley. KMVT by the way does not have a FREE streaming newscast. Go figure. KMVT is all about greed and green, not serving the community.

Salt Lake City’s? No call yet but will investigate further. The op calls for a split unit, 30% for an HQ in American Falls 30 miles west of Pocatello, for both the Knytes and AyreWolvez and 60% in Utah with the other 10% of an HQ office in Evanston Wyoming.

Evaluated signal quality today from our Malta transmitter relay station. Seems we can run our radio network via an STL with only one hop from SLC to Malta that would then rebroadcast our signal to areas of South central Idaho, and to east to American Falls, where our station would then boost that signal to Eastern Idaho.

Also took note that our channels in Wendover Utah will make it to southern Idaho from there with an STL from SLC to Wendover, meaning we don’t need to even be any longer in the Tragic Valley of Idaho, that has lost all but a slight sliver of silver to me and the Knytes.

Now I’m not going to say that Utah or the metro area of SLC is grander than Heaven. Or just as grand, Utah has its troubles too. Higher than needed taxation and regulation especially in the area of running a tow truck. The difference is simply, you can albeit a drawn out situation, but you can at least reap some of what you sow, you can really make your money back in 4 years or thereabouts. More over if you want a honey for a TV ad, with two pages of the Yellow Pages for modeling/talent agencies its as simple as calling one up telling them what ya’ll need, they send somebody over and its bada bing bada boom, done. Here in the Tragic Valley of Twin falls, its put things up on CraigsList, hope at least 8 out of 10 inquiries are serious and at least 1 out of that 10 really shows up to do the job. Our Web site has been hindered by no talent shows and other creative handicaps, that what should have been running as recently as 2009 is still in construction. Are there of age able gals in the valley to do this work, most likely, but getting gals to show up to work with us both the Knytes and or AyreWolvez, as we say bikers with wings, is a Goody’s >Goodys1< headache powder moment. I don’t mind the interviews, or taking time out to do the foot work for these projects. The reason my sweet LexiBelle>Lexi in green still needs work and I have missed two towing seasons that could have made me right at $15,000.00 , is because my financial resources go for lunches and travel to interview people who are no more serious about being a model or pin up girl for the club, than me getting home made corn bread.

Any way, my day is over, its kick back relax, so I can get to bed at a decent time to go over to A1 and put in some time, oh and about that? That’ll be in an upcoming HazzardAyre News article. As far as HazzardAyre Radio? Still going network and satellite, but the club today formally put the two signals from Buhl, on the market for Sale, give someone else the headache of finding local talent that wont show up.

AWAVIAASSNLOGO knytes end

I like Mondays.

new blog coverHK PHOOTENOTES

I like Monday’s its one of the few days of the week that I get to rest after chasing every one else who is supposed to be resting are out getting drunk or driving like they are in a bad scene from the Fast and Furious. Such is the life of a toew truck owner operator.

My company is small, so can’t really afford many employees. In fact we did something years ago that kept us out of the multi platform, employer/employee thing. I’ll let you in on that elsewhere just look for our private blog and you’ll learn.

I relate this to you today, as several things are weighing in on me at the same time. Two of which will render some good happenings and subdue some of the trash that has been like a ball and chain on the ankles of the Knytes-of-Anarchy as well as HazzardAyre/WyldAyre.

Over the weekend I did some fast post relocate searches and found that while not all but in certain places immediately in the throws of SLC there are places to live that are priced right at or just a bit under what I’m paying for here in Twin Falls. Likewise I have been in talks with Tommy and Tony Pistone of Tony’s Towing of Murray Utah, about forming an operation in or near Echo Utah.

I also looked at places for the radio gig, and found several in SLC and immediate area that not only cost less but have other amenities that will benefit the club.

Now before a bunch of you out there start calling me and talking to me about being loyal to Idaho, mainly Hagerman as well as things Hazzard.

Dig this; Since 1978 I have been as loyal and dedicated to things Hazzard and Dukes as any one many and fan could be. I have gave more money and time talking, visiting and petitioning TV stations, networks and others to air the syndicated versions of DOH, I was there at the formation of a look see committee to put together two big screen films on the Dukes, I own one of the few copies of MoonRunners the pilot movie to the Dukes, but outside of two times once by phone and once in SLC , I have yet to get a phone call from Ben, or Alma, I have yet to get a letter with even a $100.00 to support the club, based on DOH, and the list goes on.

This past weekend in route from an MC rally, we as a club met for all that was not there. We had to vote out and terminate one of the founding members. For inactivity. This hurt, but was needed. Rickey just has not stepped up, backed us up, nor even hardly came around even though I live a few blocks away.

The fact that I no longer have MY and the clubs General Lee, might be part of it. It was bad to leave the old General behind a few years ago, but I had little choice. I didn’t hear many of the so called higher ups like Ben, Alma, John etc saying here’s some money bail our beloved Military friend out of jail. Nope never heard nor seen anything. The fact that I was in the Marines serving this goofy nation , meant I was powerless to do anything. The fact that Custom towing out of Pocatello would not release the General, even though Cousin Bud was willing to pay for it, didn’t help either. Whether its true or not that he was crushed I don’t know. How one can swindle someone out of a ride, even though I still hold the title, is beyond me. Could I have sued? Yes, but I was in parts near Iraq, what am I to do? I have not seen any club member then or even now saying here’s a General to replace the one you lost. Course substituting the one I lost and the club lost would be very difficult, since ours was one from the show, two was rebuilt with more muscle than any you’ll find.

But getting another impossible.

Which brings me to this. The people who work and write namely Kurt Sutter and his wife have been nothing short of very supportive, since we revamped the club from the Hazzard County Knytes to the Knytes-of-Anarchy, more over the reason we did that despite the warmed over groovy feelings a year ago when Warner Brothers under pressure was taking our rebel flag off the General, I’ll be damn it was the Knytes who went to battle, to the point of an up front in person meeting with WB to fix that problem. Did any body say thanks ? NO !!! But I regress. In October 2008 in a act of revision and review, while grounded strictly by weather in Glenn’s Ferry Idaho, with nothing on TV, except DirecTV and FX, after it was determined that overall, the DOH thing had ran out of gas , at least as our club was concerned again 8 of us met in my house there in Glenn’s Ferry, and decided to reach back into our roots before things Hazzard, to when we were a branch charter of the United American Independent Truckers Association, and do for custom big rig truck enthusiasts and all what SOA has done for the biker community. So on TV came up we did some mind grind and decided that truckers are bikers just that we have more wheels and steel. So retaining our history of things Hazzard intact, the Knytes of Anarchy TC(Truck Club) was born.

Two years later of course HazzardAyre Radio was born. We kept only two spin off’s of the club, the AyreWolvez and Deere Dazzlerz. The rest we scrubbed.

It’s not that I don’t love things Hazzard I do, but for the club to survive we need to move on. Which brings me back around to the relocate gig.

It’s been decided that come April 2014, I will relocate down to parts of Utah. That the Knytes HQ will be established there in where the AyreWolvez HQ is already. Tommy , Tony and I will reform my Utah company there in and near to Morgan/Echo. While I do my part in running my company AyreWolf Aviation, there out of Bountiful SkyPark.

Any mile need to get myself put together here for tonight's radio show, see ya’ll then.

Good Numbers to ya’ll

Grab a root , growl and hold on

new blog coverAFTERBURNER HEDDER

Grab a root and growl, and hold on. If you have a good company name, don’t just register it in your states registration office, but please do, register it and copyright it for tomorrow some damn vulture will grab it. Then its not just them going under or getting sued , but you too simply by name familiarity or such. Dig this, I just Googled some of our subsidiary companies of towing here in the Mountain West, and oh yes you can bet your next DOT inspection some people at that state registration office is going to get a real call in the morning.

As I looked, nearly 4 out of the 12 we have still running are being used by someone else. Did not the who ever in Boise, even look to see if any body else was using those names? This again is going to cost money. Again it gets back, can’t people be original anymore? For that matter why keep copying us and my company all the damn time? This is what I liked about Utah. Down there for right at $30.00 you go to the Heber Wells building, go in and register the name of your company as well as all your subsidiary company names. That registration is good for 5 years.

Again Idaho while it has its good parts is also very bassackwards. Now I have the unpleasant job, of going to the attorney, and suing all these companies that decided one of my company names was ripe for the picking after I went into the Marines and did service in Iraq, and elsewhere. You see why we have this organization? To help returning vets with these kinds of things.

Here’s another piece of information this morning, was looking things over in the Deseret News out of Utah, both office space for the studio for HazzardAyre was less expensive, but found a studio apartment down there for $450.00 a month, that all I gotta do is move me and my dishes and trucks. The place even has a new bed, and the works. I might be outta here sooner than thought will keep all informed. Dig this the Apartment is in Layton.

All I can say to ya’ll if you have a company name that could and mostly will be copied, get it trademarked and copyrighted. The damn dull headed vultures will surely steal it.

The BIG question? Why?

Not perfect but better than it was.
Congradulations and salutations to the crew at SpeedConnect. Not only did one of their techs show up today, but reinstalled a new modem. Is it perfect? No, is it at least 10mps or better? No , but I did get through a few hours of my radio shows without too many hiccups.
Want to say to the Idaho State Police, Valley County Sheriff's office and FBI, good work in finding and execution of the rescue of the little girl kidnapped from San Diego CA, but executing the perp. They did the job right.
As I look at RFDTV while we ran the news conference on the kidnapping, I wonder why on FamilyNet they put on some of the worst, worn out shows of any kind of TV. The shows should remain regional and local, like Midwest Country. Who cares about that? Lets have a real show, like the Dukes of Hazzard, BJ & The Bear or something. The reason, those two shows will not be seen on RFDTV, is because Daisy Duke wears her shorts and the hotties on BJ & The Bear.
The ads and all from around and in Branson, am I going to drive or fly from idaho to go do the stores there? My question the BIG question I need to ask Patrick and the staff there is, WHY?
There is no sense, common or otherwise there. Not saying that Rural TV, RFDTV and/or FamilyNet don't have good people, not saying all together that they don't have a good farm news report during the week days, hey I watch it. Mostly cause I don't have much choice right now, but overall, RFDTV's networks need some real eye opening on how to program a TV network. Let's just hope that now that they are on SiriusXM, the do better with Rural Radio.
Any way thanks to SpeedConnect, its working good now, this just sabed, me at least for a few months, from having to spend $350.00 a month.

Works by day but not by night

Sorry for not being on the air overnight, but it would seem like our Internet services provider, SpeedConnect, and us are not getting along very good. Oh don't think that the people there are not great they are, it's just that they are dealing with technology, that is not up to the task.
The art of streaming anything either down or up is one that has exceeded I think, SpeedConnect' ability.
What I can't understand and yes I am expecting the operational quality that I would get in Utah, Boise, etc. But that's not the case. Here's one of the problems. SpeedConnect has as its backbone running from Idaho Falls to Twin Falls, with cell phone carrier Syringa. Which means if the cell phones are getting used a lot, then my signal on the backend for Internet is scrubbed or hampered. There is a cure, but it would seem that the cure is beyond the funding SpeedConnect wants to invest , at least in Idaho.
What this means is, the end of October which will be when our bill with Cable-One is fully paid and all, I have to go in with tail between my legs and get them . At least until MegaPath gets installed in six months or so. What blows my rocks is that even with the injured modem, I had before they swapped it out and gave me a new one , that now I can't even download anything from YouTube without reloading, can't watch Internet TV. Before I started this report, I did a signal test. At 11:19 PM, Download is just above 2mps. I tried it twice, first time 1.46mps, next time under 1.mps. like 046mps. Naw this ain't cutting it. With the modem I had before at least I could get through a TV show from hulu, or a radio show.
Now it could be my computer, so I did 4 level 3 diagnostics. All checked out okay, so its not the computer. Could it be something between me and what ever tower is getting stepped on? Perhaps. Did SpeedConnect' tower get struck by a lightning bolt, screwed that up, and they aren't telling me? Now it could be that for ordinary users, who blog, check email, do Facebook, SpeedConnect is great, its a family value thing. A value to a family, for simplistic use, but not for constant downloading and uploading at the same time, it flat does not have that kind of horsepower. So one more month with SpeedConnect unless something can be corrected, if not come October 1st its bye bye SpeedConnect, hello back to Cable-One, even at their 15mps to 20mps. At least I can do what is needed to keep growing WyldAyre and HazzardAyre Radio respectfully. By April should have things worked out in the new studio where, we have MegaPath running. Granted it'll cost us $350.00 a month, but hopefully that will get-r-done. But I'll test it just like I did SpeedConnect. Ultimately, its about delivering a radio experience unmatched by any both online Internet radio or by OTA.
So I retract my praise on SpeedConnect. People are good, service responce really great, but operationally the signal dependability, sucks.
See ya'll in a month on the radio.
Until then I'll keep you informed on the club here in these blogs.
Keep it wings level.
L8R Aviators,

The day is done, didn't even get to the mall, but!

So it's the end of yet another day, my am I pooped. Heck ain't even had time to poop. Was in studio most of the day editing and recording music. It has came down to getting just about every play list on our music pipe, on tape and all.
Thought I'd hear from SpeedConnect today, or at least their customer support staff. I have been giving out compliments to SpeedConnect, but it would seem that the relationship between SpeedConnect and HazzardAyre is growing weak. So I'll have to go with tail between legs to Cable-One. Not that their much better and yes its going to cost, but the cost is about the same so since I gotta do cable for SOA, might as well get a more stable platform. SpeedConnect is good, for basic computing or internet. Email, blogs etc, but heavy streaming and needing at least 15mps to stay erect, is not SpeedConnects ability so, at the end of September its adios to SpeedConnect, howdy back to Cable-One. The bill I owed is near paid, so oh well. Not that we're not busting hump for our own pipeline, but that's still six months or so off.
The quoting services I been working with are not coming up with any solid conclusions or solutions.
Okay then saw while on air earlier that some of our supporters up north around MHI and so on, are still with us. My thing is simple, while I know money is tight everywhere with everyone even our military, but if folks want to support HazzardAyre and the club, we need your financial support. It's the first time I or any member of the club have asked, but funds are needed for our FCC app, project, as well as getting into a new studio. Even a $100.00 from 10 people would set the thing in better shape. So if you can pony up some funds and skip a few beer runs we could use it.
That's how you like and support the club.
Any mile, going to the shower and to bed. Have a long day Thursday.
