Why haven’t they contacted us? Maybe spooked?

First of all there is a previous dealing here but I’ll get to this later. So I’m grooving to my early morning recorded show, since my jaw is partly swollen shut, thing is I went boom on ground hit jaw on cement. It’ll heal but hurts like a crapper. Once the Goody’s and Skoal do their parts I’ll be okay.

So watching Imus, and grooving on my show, comparing Imus and I , no wonder he evaporated, why’s he at Fox instead of us? Or me? Simple a real publicist, and agent damn maybe I need to get TMG to rep me as well.

Any mile so got up to put death to a moth that was making me have fits and picked up this publication that is made up of a bunch of newspapers and whatnots, called HomeTown Values. They publish other publications such as Utah Business and others. So I got to wondering, why haven’t these bunch contacted us to at least ask if we would advertise in their publications? Its easiest to say they didn’t know of us, here on HazzardAyre Radio, which is unusual. Or they’re too stuck up, which might be part of it as well.

With The SLC Trib, and Deseret News under the microscope due to an Utah Attorney General’ investigation, on some deal about a merger. This really is going to be interesting. But still I can’t understand why none of the outside media of Utah has not visited or at least called here to HazzardAyre HQ, to inquire if we would want to advertise? Few business’ call a media firm to ask to place ads, its usually a bunch of people doing bird dogging to flush out advertisers. And yet , they must have thought hey, didn’t we deal with the Knytes-of-Anarchy before? The answer is yes, but by the time we got everything wrangled around they got so damn stuck up at Utah Business Mag, that we said kiss mine.

Thing is, maybe today, with ye old Wolf here holding both the checkbook and pen its time for a few grazing sheep to pop their heads up, and do some blatting.

It’s the same from CH-4 to CH-2 to other, hell I even threw out an invite to the SE(Standard Examiner) here in Ogden.

Look ; Hazzard Ayre is good on its own. HazzardAyre is the epitome of 4rebel fight the system, unplugged radio both over the air in WoodRuff/Randolph, Utah and covering all of Laketown, Garden City and immediate area, as well as online everywhere else, although here the online part has developed a hiccup or two from Livestream.com . That said, still HazzardAyre is kicking butt from Buhl Idaho to Wendover Utah, from CokeVille to Boise. And many parts in between, and even with that , there are a few locals that have no idea we are here. Or at least online. www.livestream.com/hazzardayre , and that’s why we could use some ink in a few ad mags, but I have wondered, maybe its because we don’t carry that small Blue Book, and wear a tiny plaque that says Elder on it. You think that doesn’t matter here? guess again, I know of several companies in fact potential renters, that have discriminated against not just us , but a few others because they were not what is branded a Cultural Mormon. You know go to church on Sunday, sell on Monday. Here’s an example; Local State Farm Agent here in Ogden, has had an office space for rent for nearly 3 months, lowered it to $200.00 a month. still to date no takers. We inquired, you could smell LDS all over the place, but I bit my jaw. Why didn’t we get a office space? Not LDS enough. They used other excuses , but that was it. I knew it as I walked out. This guy as so called open minded as he was, was not going to rent studio office space to an Military Aviation custom truck club for a radio station studio. He said it was due to noise, I knew it was we were not LDS enough. Know what? Space is still available. So why hasn’t MediaOne Utah contacted us?

Must be just a Utah thing.

Rodents and pest always hide

So without anything else to watch, I stumped upon Imus in The Morning. Really? Another forgotten trying to regain some traction in radio action.

My question is and remains, why hide? His producer is in NYC, the Director of the show is in NYC, but Imus is somewhere in New Mexico, with a home room backdrop. Bet money he’s in some radio station somewhere with a full camera crew. Yes HazzardAyre will be there in that way, sometime in September or November, but the same question is; why hide? Anyone who hears or tunes into HazzardAyre, each evening into early morning, knows exactly where I’m planted, where the station is being broadcasted from. It’s no big secret, yet Imus, is hidden. Again why? Is he ashamed of his show, or the crooked way he got there? Is it that he’s risen from the Phoenix 4 times? Is it that FoX News Business Channel without anything better airs Imus instead of say someone like me? I remember when I gave the boot to Imus from RFDTV in 2009, it was months b4 he was heard from again.

Hey I’m not against a fellow broadcaster getting ahead, its just that I think that when its time to pull the plug and retire, that it should be just that retire.Unless you have a better and new gig, shut the hell up.

Like it or not they’re here to stay might as well get along

As I walked down to the store that was closed all too early, I noticed many Mexican families frolicking and enjoying familia and I began to think, as much as we as what they call White people hate it, the Mexcan’s are here. I wont say taking over but they’re here to stay. Sure it is and it is a fact, that we as Anglo-Saxons and all are a minority anymore, the Mexcan’s are here, so we might as well get along.

One of the most interesting things I notice about the talent castings we do, is few if any Mexcan women apply for a role or spot. While in the behind they are a tad wider than most still I have seen many Mexcan women that look very nice and very hot. I have even considered going to the extent of courting a Mexcan woman. Why not? Mexcan men court white women. Many white women court and troll for Mexcan men, so why not us Confederate male corpuscles seek a Mexcan woman?

Maybe one of us should ought to start to learn Mexcan as a second language?

Like it or not, they’re here to stay, so might as well get along and reach out as friends instead of advisaries. Think of it this way and it is a long story so I’ll shorten it as best as I can. In Blackfoot and immediate area, the Eastern Idaho Sub-charter of the Knytes is a Mexcan, although he thinks of himself more as an Anglo than a Mexcan. I met Videl, in Blackfoot, off the ye ole CB. Not only did he become a friend, and a club member, but went out of his way to be kind. I remember the Christmas of 1989, if it hadn’t been for Videl and his Mexcan family, I’d have been all alone. Not only did they invite me over for dinner that Christmas but gave gifts. One is a tape case that I still use. Over the years I could always and can today in a time of real crisis count on Videl. Kind of speaks volumes on the continuity and community of Anglo’s don’t it?

Of course, I’m all for preserving ones history, ancestry, and culture. Heck, I’m the biggest mouth blasting airwaves and video, on preserving our southern Heritage. It’s like if you’re a Trekie , For Centons, the Klingons and the Federation was at war. Serious quadrant battles and territory and yet once the great treaty was signed after the fall of the outskirt station Kittimer , The Klingons and Federation were friends, yet and you see it in TNG there’s value that while befriending other species or cultures , you need to retain yours. You CAN be respectful of Mexcans while preserving your own culture.

Last here tonight, we have been having trouble maintaining duration on Livestream. So the tech team is working on that so outside of the immediate area of Ogden and Woodruff, via our over the air broadcasting, there is no streaming for very long. So we decided tonight we’d take the night off. I might also tell you we are looking into other streaming services that even if there is a fee, works better than Livestream. Although for the immediate time we are staying with Livestream, and working out some technical problems.

Yes, like it or not, they’re here, might as well get along.

Direct or Indirect eye candy is everywhere on TV

If you watch carefully, sneaking in female eye candy on shows that are mostly targeted at a male

demographic, you’ll find at least one or two of the casted participants is a hot or at least satisfying lady. In IRT it’s Lisa, even on a new show I’m seeing that’s going on , on TruTV, there’s at least two hotties, they even invite you, yes YOU to go check them out further. Kind of a get a sniff and you’ll want to come to the table.

Yet here in the Knytes we’ll nearly always get criticized for our talent outreach projects. At least I don’t need to do that any more.

Okay then, last night I noticed that after about an hour or two, our streaming host Livestream, kept kicking us off, after a long set. I didn’t know if it was Comcast, or perhaps Livestream, but you can bet I’ll be checking into that Monday morning. But because of that thought we’d refrain from running a show until I can figure out the malady.

Maybe its Livestream wanting me to move towards the premium, service, rather than running over the free one.

But that said, I saw several times that grand old Comcast had hiccups as well. Friday into early Saturday morning was watching a movie on HBO and the thing went sour, like when something flys over where the dish can’t see the big satellite, as it did on DirecTV . TruTV kept doing that through Lizard Lick Towing. Then for some odd unknown reason, I’d get a black screen cover on Lifetime Network. Was trying to watch a great movie on LMN, but after 15 minutes I’d get a blocking black square over the content. At a time when all cable companies are struggling to retain customers over NETFLIX and others, you’d think that quality control would be a first issue. Don’t matter if your spending $10.00 a month or $100.00 a month if the damn thing don’t work and the tech shows up and says your stuff is okay, but the situation reoccurs, then you know its at the switching station of Comcast.

New Writers Needed Immediately

Back a few years ago, there was a terrible writers strike in Hollywierd. When that occurred it ushered in this dizzeeze called Reality TV. From American Idiot, to To Divorce a Bastard we saw and see new Reality TV offerings all over the place. Big Brother on CBS, and more, its gotten sickening.

Now we are seeing the poor writing of Tv series and lack of both imagination and some writers and producers trying to invigorate old actors and actresses careers. Example is Jamie Presley in a poor redoux of My name is Earl, titled, Jennifer falls, on TVLAND. It’s sickening. I am just praying that better offerings come soon, or it wont matter how many TV channels we’ll have or how much we pay cable/satellite companies since the programming wont be worth watching any more. I have better TV on old VCR tapes that’s equal to or even better than what I see any more. Last but not least why is it that for every rerun series they are running from Hulu to METV, no body has picked up on B.J. & The Bear?

Mathew 4:-7 says, Do not Tempt the Lord Thy God

It says in Mathew 4 verse 7 Do Not Tempt Thy Lord , Thy God, yet I feel its something my roomy soon to be ex roomy and the local ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is doing today.

He is being Baptized, which is good in theory , but he’s been Baptized before. You can only really be Baptized once, unless your doing Temple work and being Baptized in proxy for someone who hasn’t ever been Baptized into the church.

Its times like this, that I fear both the Church in its zeal to increase membership in recruiting new members especially those not of the church to do a rush job. Something as sacred as baptism should not be rushed. What about reciting the Articles of Faith, the weeks of study to prepare for this solemn promise to the Lord for his forgiveness and gifts, when you have done this ceremony before, but take it as just that a Ceremony.

It’s pure wrong. And it is not of what the Lord takes kindly to. Now its said to for me not to Judge, nor to cast stones unless I’m sin free myself, which I’m not , so understand I’m not doing that, my only aim is to be careful of that which you barely understand.

Was an interesting show last night and my, my Comcast

So there we were, near the end of the overnyte long haul run of HazzardAyre Radio and wouldn’t you know it, Comcast decided to cut out. Oh it came back quick enough, but cut me the hell off, needless

to say I was a bit tweaked, but 10 minutes isn’t much. But its enough, but that wasn’t the whole thing. During some long music set was watching White House Down, on H-B-Blow, and shazzam no H-B-Blow. Kept loosing signal, kind of like when DirecTV looses eye ball contact with the satellite. Thing is and I think I know part of it, but thing was there weren’t hardly a cloud in the sky, but I did see several low flying big passenger byrds so must be that, of course it might be that the satellite crunched into the space station who knows. Shit we got enough crap orbiting this third rock from the sun.

So going to do a restart on an early morning haul at 17:00 and see what flys.

Didn’t see a reply from old Zeb , on my comments earlier. I think that its big of him to bang his fist on his desk during a run on his show, or be Mr. Big on there as well, to tell everyone he’s this or that, yet when someone either challenges him, or agrees in part but wants to expand the topic he raised to a point of suggestion of another view, he chickens out. Of course he’d say on his show, somewhere that he’d face this person or that head to head , or face to face, but I’d be willing to say that challenge would be met with a few other people including the fuzz. Thing is, I’m always more rebellious than Zeb ever thought of being. I say our nation is messed up and has been ever since Lee, gave in at Appamadox . If President Jefferson Davis would have won, think of how much different this nation would be. More over if there was a real Confederate in the White House, how different our nation would be.

Okay then sliding back out talking Comcast again. And it really doesn’t matter what carrier you have, Comcast, Cable-One, SpeedConnect, any of em. The pipeline is only so big, when too many siphon tubes are dipped into that pipeline the ultimate volume is not going to be achieved. Of course using age old coax cable with a copper core, is not going to be as smooth and energetic as it would if in fact it was fully optic fiber. Oh sure the end goal of HazzComm, as it will be in two years is to have a lighting fast terabyte signal rather than gigabyte as most providers offer today. But suffice it to say, I thought cable was supposed to be immune from cloud cover etc. The fact is all of the current providers have huge ScientificAtlanta dishes sitting on sides of mountains, or in remote locations behind a branch of the sub office . Which means the same signal for TV is coming from the same place in much the same way it does for Dish and DirecTV. Likewize, the same site to site STL for Internet is ran much the same way. Anything that gets in the way of that STL, means at least for an instant your going to loose signal . Of course there’s the other usual varmint problem, cats climbing poles, scratching against a wire, a Seagull, nesting on a cable box, a magpie clenching just a bit too tight on a main supply wire, etc means for a bit your point to point web surfing is going to come to a quick halt.
