The thing is you'd think that both the Church, as well as Utah legislation types would give way, and allow the Lottery in Utah. The tax revenue would out pace current income to the state. Yet that tax money comes to Wyoming as well as Idaho. Malad's diners and quik stores were packed. Preston and Franklin Idaho were bumper to bumper. It was nearly reservation standing room at Jodies Diner here in Evanston, where our sweet Charlie was working today, my what a bright light she shines, no matter when , but still shines when she's there.

There are companies that appear online that promise you the moon but can rarely if ever deliver. Most of these floozy companies like My Business Funding, Atlas Business Financing and so on, prey on those individuals, that are having a rough go of it. I call them Fly By Webs, they are loan brokers hired or contracted by sub market lenders that are usually in Metro, Urban areas, and they don't give a rats ass. In the same lane, if your own hometown bank wont give you a business loan even if it is to shore up your company so you can muddle through until a embezzlement case is concluded so you can still keep your wheels turning and earning, what makes anyone think that some outfit clean across the nation especially back east will do it, especially too if they are in Yankee country? They only want big companies that are knocking down $10k a month, or better. Now consider that if I'm looking to borrow $10k, and if I'm making $10k, a month, why the hell would I ask or go to them for working capital, worth $10k? This would make no sense at all. The National Association of Business or NAOB says, take a day and shop local, this goes for financing and banking. Your local banker of an established banking firm, like say Wells Fargo, knows you, your business, your area just as good as you do. Best borrow local if you borrow at all. My Dad & Mom ran our farm the same way, Dad & Mom never got into the farm production loan scene, if we didn't have the money for that new or whatever it was, we did with what we had. Or built it. Same idea as when the DC Occupiers borrow money from China and such, once they borrow that money we are in debt to China, and at the beggers cup of China. Even if that makes some people hurt a bit, better to pay off your bills, or get out of what is dragging you down. Now then, and I've even said this before. Once a company business loan or any other turns down a Knyte , they just robbed themselves of 49,999 other Knytes-of-Dixie members across the nation some of which owns multi million dollar companies, from ever dealing with that loan company or what have you. Too bad.
Now then too, and I've even complained about them as well, but I'll tell you this; AllWest Cable/Internet, is local, understanding and works with someone to make sure they are satisfied and that the customer or subscriber is satisfied. Local companies know better, know the market conditions that are local, and works with you. These are the people you go to church with, these are the people you see at the local brewery, and at city council meetings etc, These are the companies you want to do business with and trust your personal information to. Not some brokerage or what have you clean across the nation.

If I've said it once, I'll say it again, no matter what it is don't trust a Yankee, or any company that is of a Yankee state or city. You just can't trust the carpetbaggers. They do not have any sort of rural town small community knowledge. If your applying for a business loan, don't use ANY company that promises you the moon but does not fully disclose the details or terms of the loan, or if you even remotely might be disqualified. I did hit on one that was honest. First the gal, and company she works for, says you have to have a Fico score of 580 or so to qualify. Now here's the binder. If you have a Fico score over 580, you should be able to score a loan through your own home town bank. Granted if your a specialty business say like me in towing, a loan broker and that's all they are , are brokers, they really don't loan the money themselves. But having someone in some knowledge of our industry is a move in a right direction. However even they are more prone to loan money to an urban towing company than say one that is of a rural farm area nature. Many just do not understand that in our industry its seasonal. Winter months you do fairly well, summer months not so , add to that, in our area 20 calls a week are excellent, where that number is below par in an Urban environment. But I think the watchdogs in Washington DC and states attorney generals need to start watching these online preditory loan companies that promise you gold, but are as useful as a milk bucket under a bull or steer.
The best business loan, YOU. Its called blood , sweat, and tears. Deposit enough money in a bank for real bad risky times, keep the rest under your bed, or at home, as you can't trust no Yankee's.
Put in calls to AllWest, hoping they will at least return my phone call on again my delayed payment, and two understanding it snowed here, I can't even get out of my driveway let alone to the bank.
On the good front of lending places, and its not for very much, but there's a company called Up Loan, that extended me credit, to $200.00 , hey its not much but the process was fairly simple, a few questions, my bank account number and all, and by 3:00PM $200.00 less the $80.00 that's overdrafted. That $120.00 is going straight to AllWest. But at least UpLoan was honest and helped. Wouldn't it be nice if every one of them were. I saw this sniggle giggle thing on Dom's Facebook page that said if you have a EBT card you shouldn't be driving an upscale car. But what if your looking for operating money to keep your small business going and not getting swallowed up by Obamanomics and the DC occupiers? There's an old adage and biblical passage that says give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day, teach him how to fish he'll eat for a lifetime, based on that concept it should also be, put the man in front of a pond full of fish, and give him the right bait to fish with. Just because your living on the cusp of poverty, and you need a bit of a financial boost to keep you going, should there not be a fund designed to give you a boost or leg up so you can crawl out of debt yourself?

So got home out of the edge of wetness, and see on my inbox a notice from Yelp. From My Company Funding, saying I never filed an application, considering I only got it on Monday and figuring out I have only a shot in the dark with my below 580 fico credit score of qualifying, I put the app in file 13. But I did file notice with the Federal Trade Commission and wrote a rather hard review of My Company Funding.com . However the firm, said why not refile? Okay so after filling out the required application, and jumping through hell to figure out how to write on a PDF, I found no send my link at the bottom of the app. So I sent it in three attachments. Here's the main thing and again it boils down to my view of my own stupidity of ever moving from Idaho to Utah and then from Utah to this frozen tundra called Evanston Wyoming. This past year has been a nightmare to say the least. Sure and I'm all so grateful to the Uinta View Ward for their enumerous aid to keep a roof over my head and all, yet its not making me any money. Even when the offer by my partner suggested going to bring LexiBelle, my sweet tow truck here, after the embezzlement by two prior partners, and all, I said lets get more on solid footing before we go fetch LexiBelle. Even then I had all intentions of just bagging this place and getting me and the Wolf-Pack, outta here. In normality most winters before I up rooted from southwestern Idaho, I could generate $5,000.00 easy and if I really worked it more during the winter. Over two and a half years going in a different direction between flying doing air application of farm chemicals aka crop dusting and being on the radio , LexiBelle needed and still needs some serious upgrading and cosmetic makeover work to put me even in the running of going towing. Which is why I went the route of getting a loan from somewhere other than my bank. Which brings me to the question , why does this sub market company think they can finance me and the company when my local bank wont, even though my local bank, sees me every month depositing and doing bank transactions and knows me well? After all even with everything that has happened I'm having trouble getting money of $300.00 to just keep my internet ability operational, and cable TV, on. Let alone getting $10k to fund my company for a year to crawl out of this mess. With my finances pegged to the point of squeezing Abe Lincolns ears so tight they bleed, I am still running. However even though my side of the shop rent is $450.00 and my apartment rent at $200.00 I can usually pay most if not all of my bills. But I refiled for the operational loan from My Company Funding, but since we don't and wont do credit cards, and the only thing similar is my debit card, how does this company think they can fund me, considering right now I'm $100.00 overdrawn. We will see what happens, but if I hold my breath here on this outfit, I'll turn blue. If I do get it from some miracle , I'll retract what I said on my radio show heard by 28, million each early morning, and will advertise My Company Funding free for a lifetime, that goes for any other company that will loan me $10,000.00. okay?
Now on another subject and its one of those things that the Knytes's Honor Guard is sooner than later going to get involved in and some blood will get spilled. But I heard from two people today of something that was reported to one of them regarding some screw ball, thing involving me and narcotics. In all my living years I have never and will never use any kind of recreational narcotics. Oh sure I have my SKOAL, and my coffee, and the few prescribed meds for my PTSD, and diabetes, but never any kind of illicit narcotics. From the time I put on a badge, to the point I started running a tow truck to now using drugs has never been in my life. The jackass that said otherwise, even thinking that I once lived at some place here named Red Mountain, where ever that is, is pure bullstuff, and a lieing mouth that says I did, will become a dead person if they don't shut up. I'm not going to put up with that kind of bullstuff. I had to muddle through rumors of me being such a bad ass in Mountain Home Idaho once, but that was a turf war, nothing more. I never had this kind of shit, all the time I lived in Utah, or eastern Idaho. Nor in Twin Falls, or even Hazzard, aka Hagerman Idaho. I don't lie, I don't steal, and I damn well don't use or mess with narcotics. My only only vice other than SKOAL and coffee , is speed via a Chevy or Mopar V8, and the lusting after hot honey's. But never drugs. Then my partner wonders why I hate so bad Evanston, and wanted to just stay in Twin Falls when we went to fetch LexiBelle.
So we see what happens with the loan, and my internet. If I'm on here Friday night you'll know I was able to muddle through until Monday. If not see ya'll in April after I dig myself out of this mess.

One of the few things I have learned and there are many , and that is online there are more scams, and schemes than there are truths. I in both media and in towing have learned if it smells good, you should not always eat it, more over if it looks like a good deal best check under the hood. A few weeks back I saw a small ad on FB from some outfit called My Company Funding, so I blindly followed and said if they could fund my business they could fund any body, so send me the details. So just this past Monday, my complex manager gave me the faxed application. I'm still looking at it, but I smell some rotten sausage here too. There really ought to be a disclaimer that says, NOT EVERYBODY WHO APPLIES WILL BE APPROVED. Especially if your not running credit cards and such. At both Highway Hooker Toewing and SpeedWrench Toewing due to many abuses and credit extensions we don't do credit cards. We only accept cash, or money order from approved trucking and commercial accounts, mostly cash.
Due to a mishandling of funds that started in July and embezzlement, Some bills and expenses were not paid, including shop rent. So I figured, hey maybe I could hit this loan company up for at least $10k, to pull us out of a jamb. So I got to chatting with this cat named Dom, and what I see is we don't qualify, both from our firms number of tow calls, and all. We are lucky if we pull out $2k a month and that's before bills. When you see things that say You can have up to a million in your bank account in one business day, or something to the effect, especially if your dealing with someone out of state or across the states to the east, its a red flag. But at least Dom, tried. Thing is, his company ought to shoot out a check to the company to me for say $1,000.00 for the trouble of waiting a month for a fax or snail mailed application. If I did that , both tow companies would have been out of business years ago. Its something called integrity, and its pretty much a given that , that is a good thing when most of the time all you have is your word.
Now for some big news.
Highway Hooker Toewing is going offline. We are working to bring up both RodeWolf Toewing in both Nevada and western Utah, and SpeedWrench Toewing in Utah, Idaho and yes Wyoming. Highway Hooker Toewing was great in the day of CB radio, and all that but in todays PC world and all it does not work well. The conservative nature and attitude of where we are located does not understand nor care much for that name. So by the advice of my partner at the shop and all some reworking is under way. Even if I do move to Idaho in a few months which is more probable than it may seem, what we were as SpeedWrench Toewing can be us again. Including John Deere Green/yellow/black trucks.
So if you get some offer from an out of state business cash advancement company, run don't walk, run away from it. If your normal bank can't finance you neither can these loan companies.

These I think will be one of the last blog entries I'll make until mid April. I have been busting my hump, trying to get a few of the Toew Bro's Club members and the Knytes to pony up a small loan so I can remain online. Their opinion of western Wyoming is, hey partner you got into that mess figure a way out yourself. I have plead with Shawn, and a few others, yet finding a deaf ear and blind eyes. I started looking and am still very much looking at going back into Idaho. While Twin Falls and surrounding area is too expensive, at least right now , the Pocatello area is reasonable. Not cheap, but reasonable and the playing field is exactly the way for the most part what it was when I left in 2008. For me without Internet and Cable TV or at least Over The Air TV, I'm lost. That small item is what keeps me somewhat sane or keeps me from going insane, likewise without that and the few toew calls I'm getting versus the expense of operation here, there's not much left to keep me here. So I think too its these times that you realize who your real and I mean REAL friends are and just the few that appear to be your friends and all online and on social media, like Facebook. I know Shawn is trying to help but the scavengers and buzzards in Rock Springs circling over him and his Dad make a small loan to me a bit out there. But he's bounded up, and like I said the few club members around this area as well as in Idaho feel, hey you were so damn bright to move up there, you got into that mess, figure out how to get out of it.
Now I realize that this time of the year is tough for most people, getting out of Christmas debt and all, but I also know some facts. If someone has money for smokes, gas, and extra expenses, they most likely have at least a few bucks they could extend to a friend that's busting their butt to help them.
Now then ; Went to the City Council meeting in Evanston here. The guy on P&Z that the city fired, and all that I don't know much about. What I do know is this, what response I have got, was more people commenting on the Dixie flag on my background on my pic online not the issue at hand. One even said something about the war between the states being of racism, and slavery. See that's the trouble with northerners they just don't understand the cause of that conflict, nor do they want to take blame. It's the same thing if you were to be a Native American, (Indian) White mostly northerners wont take the blame or admit to the disaster they did to the Native Americans, kicking people off their land, raping children, and killing for no good reason, stealing food by killing off buffalo and game. Same thing the people are doing to that rancher in Oregon. The feds come in kick someone off their land, take away their way to earn a living and think its okay. Then badger someone because they are not PC, and have a Dixie flag in their home, or in their online pic. My view there? If your picking on me just for that, the question I have for you, is, now who is being racist? If people trash talk, burn and all people who believe in that flag of Dixie and its history, and what it stands for, its OUR heritage, our ancestors, if your hurting us, who then is truly guilty of hate crimes?
Any mile headed to the shower then back to the shop. But there are those that say they are your friends and the ones who just say they are online and on Facebook. Question is are they really?

While I have engaged this before and am praying as hard as I can to regain some of my electronic abilities to communicate, I also think of all these crowd funding things I see posted on social media pages, and I think I can try to do this or that. Yet I either am not making the request properly, or the cause I work for is not , the gifted pursuit, that I think it is.
Now I'm not saying that all causes are wrong or that there are causes worth it, but dang it all to heck, when the Knytes put up a call to action, we get fully ignored. Of course we all as a club muddle through and get there ourselves, but I'd like to see once that cause of ours was at least honored and at least 10 people would kick in say $100.00 a piece, to help us as a group, fix a wrong. Or to raise awareness of a battle.
HazzardAyre Radio and all its parts is something to fight for. Its core is of preservation of southern states heritage and history, but it goes much further than that. Any kind of misalignment of Federal , powers that engulf a nation from the gig in Oregon, or the invasion of the tow snatchers from Utah into Wyoming, HazzardAyre Radio is the ONLY true fight the system, anti establishment anti conformist radio station in the Union. Period. When there is a misalignment of of people who think they are above or should be excluded from the law or laws that we all must abide by, or when a big deep pocket enterprise, takes or is taking advantage of a small or unable to fight on their own the causes of that misalignment the Knytes are there, and HazzardAyre Radio is there as one of the tools, we use in that fight. Look it goes to a core of a old Star Trek Next Generation, episode of beings called the Borg, who wanted to make everybody just like everybody , take away their individuality , their reason of free minds and spirits, to assimilate or be assimilated, the Borg said resistance is futile. I don't buy that. Until some power makes it not so, this is still America, we are albeit with a anvil and a chain around our ankles, but we still are free, to be able to say for the most part , what we want to say, and the right to pursue happiness and make at least a living, living. Right now HazzardAyre Radio is fighting to save itself, we need to raise $1000.00 dollars before the end of the month. To keep operational, we need every American and especially that of those who wish to preserve Southern heritage and liberty to dig into their wallets, and donate at least $100.00 so we can stay on the air.

Okay now lets settle some things that some that just don't dig far enough into history and a monument that is even outside the County courthouse here in Evanston Wyoming. That has a marker honoring The Confederate States of America. The war of northern aggression was not over slavery , although history books written by northerners would say otherwise. The war was over taxation, and the taking of property and tariffs . Not slavery. Slaves were brought over to this nation by the North, and resold to farmers in the south. The south never did get involved with transportation of slaves, yet the north say otherwise. Now I grant you, there has been many hate groups that have used our Flag of Dixie as a background, and a symbol, and I'm tired of it and them, with their pointed heads and swasticker tattoos. They have tarnished our Flag of Dixie. But you can't outlaw peoples feelings, you can't outlaw or legislate history and more importantly you cannot legislate LOVE, we who have our ancestors and family roots planted solid in and of the south, love our southern roots, and need to preserve those roots. Some have said that HazzardAyre is a method of taking away from or being in competition with Ray McBerry enterprises founder of Dixie Broadcasting.com which is not right to say. What HazzardAyre is, is taking that torch and baton and running further and taking the cause nationwide., Ray opened the door and I for one commend him for his efforts, I love the intros of things from Heidi one of his on air people, I love everything Ray has done, but he was unable due to too much work to continue to devote time and money to Dixie Broadcasting. What we are doing is elevating Ray's efforts and putting some Hazzard County style spice into it.
