HazzardAyre-28 Final Approach

Here is the final for a week or so.

Got a somewhat heated Email from the GM of a local TV station here.

The comment I put out there in the entry titled A HazzardAyre Moment was not one of calling on the carpet anything negative, it was to point out they goofed on a story and ought to correct it. No more,no less. But the fact is this. When it comes to Idaho area broadcasting . many except two that I know of, besides us, that are doing it right, the rest as far as TV is concerned are still playing catch up to the 21st century and trying to rise at least to a moderate intelligence level. The GM said I was banned from his stations grounds, groovy, wouldn’t go there anyway, as that particular station has nothing really to offer. At least anything I would visit their Taadgemahall for. It’s easy to think your superior when you work in an Ivory colored building. The same GM commented that he doubted I had personally the dollars to do as what projects we do. Thing is personally, I am only one tooth in the gears of many, of both the Knytes-of-Anarchy as well as the AyreWolvez. Then the same GM, said something about the way we exploit women, hmm, bet the same GM does not mind one of the local intimate apparel stores advertising on his station, but not us. Can you say decency can be brushed aside when the dollars are right. The list goes on and on. But the fact that , while on the surface, the majority of the area are ultra conservative, but there is also those that fly on the wyld side. And it is those that is and are members of and who we as an organization aim to serve through our media efforts.

Bottom line we are making a few of the area media TV outfits nervous. It wasn’t to defame them at all, more a move to kick some out of their complacency to be better , because we as a organization, and I am from here, not a transplant. And this area can be better so can Idaho, if one applies a firm push.

I could say more, but I’ll refrain. The bridge has been burned if it had been rebuilt at all. As such I let it rest.

Now to some that say there was no Confederate Marines. Wikipedia has a whole page on the CSMC. Might interest them to know there was also a Confederate Navy as well. All tied and dedicated to the Confederate States.

A HazzardAyre Moment

I caught something on KMVT’s early morning newscast, that not only should be corrected, but the newscasters ought to have known the difference. The news blurb went, that The Blue Angels will perform at this years Twin Falls AirShow. However what was wrong is the newscaster said it that it was the US Air-Force Blue Angels. Ooops KMVT, the Blue Angels is the U.S. Navy, and Marines, NOT THE AIR FORCE. The Air-Forces performing squadron is the ThunderBirds, NOT THE BLUE ANGELS. Again KMVT screwed the pooch. What else is new.

I really think that there needs to be a proofreading at KMVT , long before air time for that early morning show. More over, Idaho broadcasting on the whole needs a overhaul. and a Vo-Tech on air training school ought to be created, oh and yes the Knytes-of-Anarchy/AyreWolvez are working on such a thing. But damn Sam, if your going to report the frigging news, report it right, or bag it. Make the correction KMVT, The Blue Angels are the Navy, not the Air-Force.

Just had to throw that in for this Friday.

Last HazzardAyre for January 2011 Edition 27

Many things get settled or at least heavily discussed at our early morning coffee hours at the Wolf’s Den. First there is dealing with Qwest Communications, our regional telecom here in and around Hazzard. Wish Boss Hogg hadn’t sold out to them years ago. Used to be, paying your phone bill was as easy as going to the phone company address where Mable was always glad to take your money, bill paid, all is well. Today, you either can send it in via mail, hope it gets there. Go to a pay station that needs a printed bill, to process the payment, or do it via plastic. All of which is a pain in the ass. Forget the fact that we had one hell of a snow storm session all through December, and could not even get out of Buhl, let alone out of Hazzard itself, so could not go all the way to Twin to pay the bill at the Twin Stop there. Then when it did thaw, had no money in the club kitty, to pay the damn thing, so called made arrangement for the first week in January. Forgetting the 1st was a holiday, which meant nothing gets paid for 5 days. Then lost the current bill,so he Twin Stop could not process the damn thing, had to wait and am still waiting for the duplicate to arrive, so I can pay the damn bill. And then Clay wonders why we need the HQ in Idaho, or at least a charter bean counter distributor here. Trust me I’m working on it.

So after that discussion trying to get an additional extension on the phone, Qwest said nope, so until after the 4th or so of February, no phone, and thus no internet, means no online postings of HazzardAyre.

So that’s the truth and name of that tune. Don’t matter much after the middle of February looking into alternate communications, and telecom providers. Plus wont be living here anyway, fortunately have cell phone, but that ain’t for shit for computer or Internet, no matter how much 4G coverage they say they offer, don’t work for Donkey doodles in Hazzard well, if at all.

So in the next couple of weeks , if ya’ll need to reach me, call my cell. I’ll be using wifi for a short spell for Internet.

HazzardAyre 26 The renewed effort for The Knytes of Anarchy

I had every intention this morning to reminisce about the history of DixieBelle(My toew truck) But overnight the Knytes over a conference call had some issues and it be my part of the club to renew some effort to and for that. Being the case a historical foundation needs to be brought forth and how the hell, I got involved and why I stay involved and devote most of my none working waking hours to the Knytes.

So here goes;

Back in 1978 or so , I met a wild and crazy guy named Jimmy Macdonald. He built hand crafted, hot rods, I built hand crafted custom trucks and road bikes. We met at that years Early Iron Club’s Rod and custom show in Twin Falls. We both agreed that instead of competing against each other living in the small town of Hagerman-aka Hazzard Idaho, that we would combine forces. So we opened in the spring of 1980 , Pat & Jim’s Speed and Custom Shop. LexiBelle(before the name change ,of my toew truck) had a foundation but it was weak. Thought was, who the hell is going to come to Hagerman to get a hot rod built? So I packed up my shit that fall and decided to hit the road in my old Chevy to Salt Lake City. Got as far as Burley , a snow storm to beat all snow storms hit and no could go. Stayed overnight at the Burley Ramada Inn , (now the Burley Best Western Motel) and what parked next to me? Yep the old General itself. Found the kid that had built it, told him if he decided to sell the car to call me. The following year in the works of taking a rig to the show, searching for props for the display, saw out of my eye, ye ole General with a FOR SALE sign. $1,500.00 and ye ole General was on his way to Hagerman, that soon after became Hazzard. With the popularity of our home brewed custom, Jimmy and I sat down and said that for business to bloom, we had to get the local crop of gearheads together. There was a popular movie going on then called the Hollywood Knights. Down in Pocatello was a gearhead group called the Squires, hmmm , here we had a royal atmosphere. Dukes, Squires, bring on the Knights. So in the fall of 1982 a gathering of rural grassroots, anti establishment gearheads got together and The Hazzard County Knights was born, although a year after we reworked the word Knight as Knyte. But I found out from both Mom & Dad, that my Confederate Southern roots and ancestors went well beyond a love for a TV show on which the club was built on. 4 Southern states was where the majority of my kin folk on Dad’s side were both born and raised in the deep south. Mom herself was born in Texas, My Grandma on Mom’s side was born in Alabama, in fact although some dispute this, but Montgomery the township and County of Alabama is from my ancestral roots as well. But I really did not pay much attention to all that, after all, I was in Yankee country, in Idaho. It wasn’t until 2004 through some rumblings from within the Knytes that I got and as such the Knytes got involved with the Confederate States of America and Sons of Confederate Veterans movement. The Hazzard Knytes , established a working partnership with both the SOCV as well as the CSA/CNP. Through a guy named Stephen Monk(StoneWall) . Over three following years , I learned alot about my roots, as well as what it truly meant to be part of the modern Confederacy. During the 2006 elections , I went to Mountain West rallies of and for the CSA/CNP, and only by a slim margin did the CNP candidate then loose to a Republican, go figure, its Utah. But the Knytes said we are going to keep fighting, for the love of Dixie in the northern states. By the time I had migrated back to western Idaho, the core membership of the Knytes had either died, moved away, or were GOA. So what to do? In early 2008, the idea of reworking the club, all the way back to its trucking roots, had begun. However we really did not want to loose the fellowship of the CSA/CNP, as well as completely abandon the Hazzard roots that built the organization. But what to call it? So it was discovered a hit TV show had hit the FX cable network, that mirrored the ideals of our group. But instead we wanted to retain our connection to all things Hazzard and vintage old skool OTR trucks, trucking and toewing(towing). That TV show is of course the Sons of Anarchy, but with us it was about trucks not bikes. So a rework of titles and all, and in the fall as the elections were heating up, the Knytes-of-Anarchy was reborn, and so it goes.

That all being said, there has came the fact that while we have not lost membership, or should I say, paid membership, we have not gained any either. While there is a new Capo at the helm of the AyreWolvez our sibling organization, the Knytes’ current Prezz is not getting things done in a progressive manner. With Clay’s tenure about to expire in 2012 the time for a fresh capo is required. But even so, there needs to be established a real HQ for the club, not just a back room in who ever is Prezz ’s house. Of all places centrally located to set up Knytes HQ is the mini Cassia area of Idaho. Close to Utah to help our sibling group the AyreWolvez when needed, big enuff to stage group events, that all from our Mountain West region can attend, and where meetings etc can be attended by more than just those who live in Idaho. So with that said, over the next two weeks, yours truly will be offline and out of touch establishing the headquarters for the Knytes-of-Anarchy, that includes the Mountain West chapter of the SOCV-UCSA/CNP.

So why do I nearly kill myself to stay involved? Simply because I gave life to the organization, the organization helped establish Dixie Toewing/Southern-Eagle Xpress, Hazzard County Choppers(my company) because the UCSA has the only plan to save this nation and because I love Dixie, and want and dedicate myself to those ideals of the fight the system, affection of the Modern Confederacy.

So until February 9th 2011, keep it tween the ditches.

HazzardAyre 25 Maybe the guy had the right idea, just went about it wrong?

While the shootings have been rampant here lately and the near loss of a great Congresswoman in Arizona would have been well a tragic loss, do you ever think that maybe the scoundrel that pulled the trigger , had the right idea, but went about it wrong?

There is not hardly a modern Confederate in any real frame of mind that does not want to take up arms to defend freedoms, that are being stripped away daily if not hourly. And that our Government leaders are selling our nation to the highest bidders, like the $575 Billion dollar deals to China, yesterday, have we not all secretly wanted to line up a bunch of the crooks from both popular mainstream political parties and open fyre? Come on now be honest. But instead of picking them off , one by one, or in earnest with a firing squad, the best way to settle these daily tragedies is to get our message and messages out in front of the mainstream public. The voice of the modern Confederacy needs your help to help it grow. To date, the Knytes of Anarchy has spent nearly $850,000.00 on building an infrastructure to bring to light and airwaves the ideals that our southern ancestors fought and died for in all wars and especially the great war between the states, we flat need your help. One of the rash statements that the idiot in Arizona spoke of was a new nation and currency that was laughed at by the mainstream press. But maybe the poor bastard had the right idea. Certainly a succession of states from the current union, and bringing to light a currency for the modern Confederacy is not so ludicrous as it would seem.

I have personally sent millions of emails and logged onto mainstream press websites to get those on say FoX News Channel, who claim to be fair and balanced as well as MSNBC , CNN etc and our efforts go without even seeing the light of day , much less heard.

Seems as though those mainstream media types only want to hear from those in the major metro areas, or only look at rural America when something horrific happens. Which is why there is a process that you as an American can get involved in.

Being part of the Modern Confederacy does not mean being racist, nor wanting to revert back into slavery. Being part of the Modern Confederacy, means wanting to clean up the corruption that plagues our form of Government. Get rid of the crooks from both parties, defend our homes and homeland, secure our borders and getting our economy back into shape, by giving our people the money and funds to get that economy back into a progressive path rather than keep bailing out big corporations and ignoring the blue collar denim sleeved workers. Deregulating and legalizing recreational consumption of weed. Hey we got rid of prohibition on alcohol why not weed? Lets allow our people to live truly free. Get rid of a stifling Federal Communications Commission , that is selling out spectrum and open airspace to the highest bidder , just to line the pockets of that same agency. Don’t think that just because the big cell phone companies that are buying that airspace and spectrum does not have a hidden hand holding arrangement with our Federalized Government. The idea is, once all that spectrum is bought, your choice for TV news and Entertainment will be gone. That same Federalized Government will then own the airwaves and will tell you what you can, and can’t watch or listen to. Think it ends there? Don’t you believe it. Once they get ahold of the airwaves, the Web, and Internet , even phone will be controlled by big brother and those alphabet agencies. Before its too late, reach out. Donate dollars to us so we can join with our brothers in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the United Confederate States-of-America to build a solid voice for the modern Confederacy. Oh you say, hey I can’t afford to donate, I m only barely able to eat as it is. Fine. Do you have a computer? Are you online? Then write, email , even call the mainstream media. Tell them, you demand their attention to the UCSA, build rally signs, show up to public demonstration events, just get involved.

Sure the guy in Arizona did go about it wrong. Open fire at an event or where innocent lives are taken is improper. If you want to get rid of our corrupt politicians hit em where it hurts, get em out of office. Get em off their cushy jobs, that’s the way things get done.

HazzardAyre 24 Logged way too many miles on a forgotten Highway

When I look on this frozen piece of super slab also known as old U.S.-30 through Hazzard and into Twin Falls County, I remember all too much of my own history. As much as the Dukes effected me as a youth long before anything Hazzard ever became a part of my future, I saw myself behind the wheel of 18 wheels logging miles on what now is a highway only of many dreams. As early as 15 years old I harbored visions of being a long haul snuff chewing , coffee drinking trucker. A dream job, seeing the nation through a windshield and delivering the goods. But I had a battle of the mind, whether I truly wanted to wear a badge and go into law enforcement as a crime scene investigator or drive a rig. I just loved all the lights, radios and gizmos that the cops had in their rides. Then there was that romantic hour which seemed to last eons yet only a mere 60 minutes, when wanting to go chase puntain, had to move a cousins toew truck, so I could get my hot rod out of her driveway. The sky opened up, the sun shone in on a white light and the stillness was one of a truly magic moment. Here was my answer. Driving and owning a toew truck, would let me goof with all the gadgets that the cops had. Work with the cops but not for the cops, and yet drive a truck. Of course it was a baby truck , but a commercial truck none the less. For years after all I dreamed of was a toew truck. Mom & Dad, was not so sure. Their requirement? Go work for someone with a toew truck and we’ll see. I worked with two of the best the tragic valley had . John W Nausbaum of Johnny’s Towing of Twin Falls, and Valley Towing & Radiator, also of Twin Falls. That’s where I met her. Little did I know she and I would be together for life.

But that’s getting ahead of ourselves here.

Of course, the first ever released on TV, trucker series was Movin On , but that got boring fast. But then came Greg Evigan and all those hot honeys in trucks and the series B.J. & The Bear. What was really groovy was the fact was that B.J. ‘ s COE Kenworth was the same colors that DixieBelle originally wore. Might have been good to have left her that color. But a new real to life trucker feature film came out, that changed that idea. The movie was the film dramatization of CW McCall’s hit single Convoy. With a slightly spiced up set of lyrics. The most noticeable difference was the fact that the featured rig was not that of a Peterbilt or Kenworth, but a big black Mack R700L. The rig was beautiful and the character was as anti establishment as I was and still am. So I said every other toew truck is red(at the time back in the day) and I should and wanted to be different. So DixieBelle became black. Of course, the name on the rig on RD’s truck said R D(Rubber Duck) Trucking. So one of the first handles I took to light the candle to go toewing was the initials of my then CB handle, Diesel Kid or D.K. Towing. Things might have went better for me if I had stuck to that, but then the Heavy Hooker thing took over, and ya’ll know that history.

But as much as that all changed over the years, being behind the wheel of DixieBelle has been the chosen career I took. And except on a few occasions never looked back or thought twice about it. Until now.

It’s been said that with age, comes wisdom. I don’t know about that, but dreams and aspirations change. By 1994 I found myself married with two adopted teens from her prior marriage. While the Montgomery Foundation Trust sufficed for income we as a family needed more income. My cousin Gordon Sant, through a loan from Mom through his Dad, my Uncle Harrold, bought some rather used biplanes and was into doing crop dusting heavy. His hangar provided shelter and a place to keep DixieBelle in tune, and yet opened my eyes to agricultural aviation. In 1998 I reupped into the Marines, to help pay bills. Major bills. Did a short reserve stint until mid 2000. Discharged and stupidly bought into some bullshit of some sex pot waitress that worked here in Buhl, who owned a house in Goons Ferry Idaho. So moved into the mouse ridden filth nearly falling down not much better than a two story lean too. But I loved to fly. And I still love to fly. It wasn’t until mid 2004 living in Utah with cousin Bud that I found how much. With the first breath of a ongoing recovery of the Montgomery Foundation Trust, Cousin Bud, invested money into Gordon’s operation with some of my own conditions, one I own part of it and two; it got a name I thought was required. The last was we really get rotor craft involved. So an insurance client of Cousin Bud’s had hangar space at Bountiful SkyPark, with $600K and one helluva lot of paperwork. in mid 2005, AyreWolf Aviation really took flight and AyreWolf Aviation became a saving grace. It wasn’t until I stupidly again moved to Goons Ferry, after suffering humiliation and stress over the bullshit of some damn little fartknocker bikini bouncer in Pocatello and thinking that I might get a job at a proposed but never gaining altitude Nuke power plant in Hammett, that I got fatter and out of shape to the point that at my renewal for my GA Recertification that my physical I took, doctor said nope. I have to loose 96 pounds. In essence got grounded. But who was waiting? DixieBelle.

HazzardAyre 23 Did Thoust forget?

It’s very easy to forget , since many Yankees do not cotton to this historical day, but today, Wednesday the 19th of January is our beloved General’s Birthday. Yes it is the birthday of Robert E Lee.

Funny we can have a national holiday for some black guy fighting to rid this nation of oppression, yet the very one that led the charge so many years before, is forgotten. More over that national cemetery for this nations honored military dead Arlington, is after all the front lawn of Robert E Lee’s mansion, and yet we don’t honor him nor the very leaders of the Confederacy. The question I have is; Even those who propose to carry the big stick, in leading the modern, confederacy never hardly even gave mention to this wondrous day. Of course ya’ll know my personal feelings here, and Both General Lee, General Jackson, and Jefferson Davis would all and most likely are rolling in their graves, that a scoundrel like Obama, being not of our native soil, as well as black, is in the White-House. Then we also or at least, some wonder why there are reports almost daily of some bazaar shooting somewhere. Today there was one in California at a high school again, and a cop gets whacked, its a condition that there is no respect for authority, and a FOR ME ONLY attitude, that our nation has grasped, rather than the love of Kahless(God), and our neighbors, as people, not just someone to bum from. Or thinking , what can I get out of my neighbor today. There is the passage in the Holy Bible, that sezz, If your neighbor is in need, help him, if he is cold without a coat, give him your coat, if he is in need of feed, feed him. Without thinking, about recouping the gift of kindness for ourselves. Yet we have forgotten these things. Praising only those things, man has made not praising what God has created. We as humans are only a tool, in a grand tool box, that God uses to carry out his plan. Not our plan. Yet we forget these things. Our Southern Confederate ancestors took these things dearly. Its time for us to take to arms for Dixie. If we don’t there will not be a nation.

Tonight, as you say your prayers, say one to honor our Confederate Veterans, especially today, for Robert E Lee.
