HazzardAyre82 Quibids.com not for squat.

So there you are in your fave chair watching TV, the ad for Quibids.com comes on. The gal doing the pitching the site seems as meek and wyld as you see. But she after all is a pitch model, that is getting paid mucho denaro to do that pitching. Once you visit the site, register and all you can’t even place something to bid. Unlike say, Ebay, where plastic or not, you can still post something for folks to buy.

Just like FaceBook, vying to be the next movie site, yet can FaceBook really unseat Netflix? It’s even been said that FaceBook would unseat Google. Maybe on a few things, but from blogging, to audio as in YouTube, to email. Google remains king, not too mention search.

While FaceBook might be the 21st centuries version of the local party line or gathering place, FaceBook will not in the near future unseat Google.

Getting on the topic here. You can have the most beautiful pitch girl and smoke and mirror TV ad for a web site, or any business, unless the business measures up. Forget putting an ad on TV. Work out the bugs of the offering before pitching the thing.

Calling the Nigerian Black here? No. The reason you haven’t heard or seen a thing on TV about HazzardAyre Radio or the printed/published version of this blog is because we have not worked the bugs of the site. Once we do see what get’s unleashed on TV.

HazzardAyre81 She smells too

I have spoken of this before, but I’ll post it again. No matter how great she looks its only a cover. Oh she may look like a angel or a dream, but under the cover there may be demons that are waiting to be unleashed. You might be seduced by her sweet smelling purfume, or the finely crafted appearance due to cosmetics , but in the morning her butt, underarms, and other areas also do stink. I used to be rather seduced by small feet, attached to well proportioned legs covered by nylon hose. I thought as it was my nose was redirected from the smell of her toes by the visions of her face and eyes. She could not possibly smell bad. While science sezz, that her feet and other aromas are not as bad smelling as us male corpuscles, since a woman’s ph levels etc are different than us males. Yet in reality, she do pew.

Then there is what’s under her hood? Just like a fine looking rod or custom truck, the body and paint might look extremely good, but if the engine and drive train are fowl so the entire ride be not worth taking around the block.

Case-n-point, there is a gal who is co-owner of one of my competitors, here in Twin Falls. She has looks that kills, but reputation has it, that she is a gold digger and drove her two prior hubby’s to drink. Reputation deserved? Don’t know, but I’m not allowing my paws into that trap.

Then there is a gal I met at a bakery at the MVM in Twin where I have coffee, suggested she toss her name in for either, Miss Hazzard County, and or Miss AyreWolf, got a phone number, but in investigation found the phone number was an old pay phone at MVM. Instead of giving me a fony Phone number, why not just say, “ I’m not interested” ? Just be honest , right? Not someone who would be a good candidate for either Miss Hazzard or Miss AyreWolf.

She will be one of those that will witness the open talent call at the mall, and think, oops I screwed the pooch. By then it’ll be way too late. Her loss.

No matter how good she looks she smells too.

HazzardAyre80 And we’re back

And we’re back. Although I wasn’t too far away.

To be honest , at the end of February pockets were a bit lean, a new club bean counter is being trained and the fact that I needed a rest, meant looking at Qwest’s bill,and not wanting to part with $400.00 I let the damn thing go, and went mobile phone. Checked email sporadically but it was nice not having multiple phones going off and trying to keep my head together.

Okay then, KOA and the AyreWolvez are going at a Miss HazzardAyre in Twin Falls in mid May. At the MVM. Will have an updated edition report on that Friday.

Just wanted to let all know , that HazzardAyre News online is back.

HazzardAyre76 Have we reached the end of good Television?

Have we reached the end of creative Television, and has Television’s Golden era gone past us? Is there a possibility of reviving Television, to post 1995 when Television went bust? I have not the answer here. For all their great work at Retro TV, as well as a few other outlets like TV Land, still they all have missed the call to the table. Consider that Retro TV a distribution network, does a superb job, reigniting, the fan base under Knight Rider, A-Team, as well as my two favorites , Airwolf and BlackSheep Squadron, but why quit there? How about , B.J. & The Bear? Lobo, among others. Could you imagine, one network carrying the best of the best? I remember when Speed TV first signed on as SpeedVision, before FoX bought it out. Besides the regular haul, if there was a go fast or trick ride in the show it was on Speed.

Speed TV will be airing American Trucker TV tonight, something that has been long over due. But I still think there is a need for a lifestyle as well as a trucker news and information show, as well. Something you’ll only see on Confederate Star/Dixie Diesel TV coming in the fall of 2012, from us here in the Knytes-of-Anarchy, but getting back on the road here. With Hollywood, so starved for good TV scripts and series, why not breathe life back into a newer revised version of say B.J. & The Bear, or Highway Honey’s? For that matter 18Wheels of Justice? Let’s face it, truckers are the earthly saviors of this nation. Trucking enters into each of our lives, from the food we eat, the house we live in, the clothes we wear, the fuel in our fuel tanks and even the hot rods we enjoy, everything is transported at least once if not more by truck. Small rural areas are dependent on Owner/Operator independent truckers. Trucking is the backbone of this nation. And a barometer of how we as a nation are doing in economic circles. When there are alot of trucks rolling the big road, that means factories are making, people are buying. Fewer trucks on the slab means, the economy is slowing or at a standstill. Those in the business deserve their own network, likewise support industries, like us in toewing and keeping the rigs road worthy, deserve a spotlight. Dixie Diesel TV will deliver.

But why is it always us?

The other day, I caught a blog post from elsewhere, and no not the MHI idiots this time, but someone asked, does he(me-the AyreWolf) have a weakness or kryptonite? I comically responded yes, put a hot gal in a skin tight mini dress in nylon hose, 7 inch heels finding her way to my door, would be a mind changer. That is in humor by the highway. The thing is, I was born, raised and have loved the trucking way since well, birth. I sat in a make shift kiddy seat on the dog house of a rather small Peterbilt COE beside my dad as he hauled fat livestock. I remember greasing that and other trucks of our small farm truck fleet, and smelling diesel as one would enjoy the aroma of fine perfume. The story goes on, but the thing that keeps me active in the Knytes as well as both the UAITA, and URCA, is the love of trucks and the need to preserve that heritage.

So I ask, has Television reached its dead end? If so might the OTR trucking industry rescue our eye’s .

HazzardAyre 75 When will our technology catch up to Star Trek standards?

When will technology truly reach Star Trek standards and capability? Cell phones, despite advertised claims does not reach all places. Internet services at best in most areas, at least in Idaho, only run at 20mps, although once a time I found a wifi connection that was coupled to Idaho State University, that ran at 50 MPS, and I guess that spoiled me.

When will our state of Idaho, find the 21st Century? I have been listening to the bitching coming from the state capitol on education reform and so on. The real fart in the rain storm, is teachers in Idaho, are against what I will term performance pay. My opinion, teachers ought to be paid for the quality of instruction and the ultimate ability of the students they teach.

Why not put computers in schools? I say do it to it. Hey ya’ll voted for Luna, yet ya’ll gripe when the plan of his administration for Idaho schools makes sense. At least computers will not molest female students. Or be influenced by the popular majority of a community, for once kids will learn something besides how to smoke a joint under the bleachers without getting caught.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Technology will be good in Idaho, replacing Idaho stupid with something is a move in the right direction. Now if they can only invent a female Data.

When will Idaho or at least technology, catch up with Star Trek standards, most likely not until the year 2441.

HazzardAyre74 Cell phones will never replace the good old LandLine !!

If one turns on the TV even during regular prime time hours, you get saturated with ads from cell phone companies. Many claim, complete or near complete coverage. Fact is, the damn things in many rural areas flat do not work. Oh your fine as shine at dinner time, as long as your in a metro, or populated area. But Buhl, Bliss, and even places where you see hill tops covered by cell towers and yet you can’t call worth a fart in any rural area. Don’t matter and especially A.T.&T , Verizon, and even this outfit based in Idaho, called Syringa Wireless. Oh their coverage map says it’ll work, but don’t bet your toew call on it. I guess ya’ll get what you pay for, unlimited minutes on a pre-pay plan, is not the same as a two year plan, but I have had both , Verizon cost me $2,500.00 on a toew call in Pocatello, only because I was late on the bill, and that was because the damn office/store to pay the bill was closed. I missed one damn day, and I’m cut off? Wont be using them in the near future. Had, A.T.&T for a time, and as long as I was in Buhl, or Twin great the damn thing worked, once I dropped into Hazzard Canyon to Bliss, forget it, damn thing never could connect.

The one thing I am getting to here is this, Cell Phones will never replace the solid connection of a landline. For Internet or making phone calls, although slow, the landline works. I hammer Qwest alot and their mps speed is slow and bandwidth limited in rural areas, but it does work. Here? Forget Cell phones. I figured it up, with the money I pay for a cell phone, I can hire, a collage kid, to sit on the landline and dispatch the call over my commercial radio.

Going over to Syringa’s Twin Falls office to chew on them, but I’m glad I paid my Qwest bill, after all it works.
