Some days it’d be best to stay in bed. Well its Christmas, and cold.
Fix it jobs that I should have been doing on rigs have started catching up on me.
Dig this, went to get milk and grub , on the way home, went to snag 3rd in LiL Lexi, and guess what? No clutch. So did the rpm shuffle to get it home, got home, but now need to fix clutch. There are some lights in the clouds though, at least the clutch went out during the wee hours of night when no or hardly no traffic is out, and so no real big thing, but this going to be expensive. Oh well at least got BIG Lexi to haul around in so not really crippled but feel its going to be a while till I’m motoring to Twin any time soon, or elsewhere.
I don’t know if its the Roman’s that reworked the calendar but what ever its said, before the Gentiles and Jews reconciled , the day of rest was really Saturday. Be that as it may, I’m home and glad I have what I have.
Had to scrub going to Twin to see Nurse GoodBody, but hey the clutch going out is one of those challenges that God gives us, to see if we’ll retain faith, in him.
Just another grand day in paradise, but really, Some Days its best to stay in bed.
