Ever since the 2014 SuperBowl, we have been undated with that ad from what would appear as a sultry blonde gal, whose looks went sour after her 45th birthday of the sympathetic notion that men who can’t get a stiffy, needs the little blue pill. Here’s the truth, if more women would wear the alluring clothing and the attracting under garments that men want to see, the being able to rise to the occasion would not be a problem. It’s a fact that men want something more than bare skin and yoga pants to get in the mood. When women stopped wearing nylons and undershorts that showed a bit of lace, the man stopped getting day time woodies. For most of us in our mid 50’s the images of Julie Newmar the original CatWoman, from Batman. The black go go boots from Star Trek the original series, Peggy Lipton, aka Julie from the Mod Squad with her stocking cladded legs and super mini skirts, and of course us Hazzard County fans, Kathy Bach aka Daisy, Duke. Her nyloned legs and those shorts, were something to see. Of course if you want to get past that, what about the original Ellie May Clampet, Donna Douglas made it elegant yet sexy. When women wore the right clothes, men got heated.
Forget Viagra, lets see hot bodies in nylons and mini skirts, women need to look like women, not dudes. Just like Penny on the series Big Bang Theory. When she cut her hair, she looked like a dike. As such viewer numbers have dropped. Okay then.
I’ll get into this further Sunday, but the big event just in planning for staging the Hazzard County Nationals/DukesFest West at the Uinta County Fairgrounds next fall here in Evanston Wyoming, the last week of July, is a celebration of all things southern culture including but not limited to everything Dukes-of-Hazzard. A miss Daisy Duke look alike contest and southern rock and southern kountry concerts with some of the hottest bands of that genere . From Cooter’s Garage Band, to Shooter Jennings, this is the BIG BANG that we produce every 4 years. Its a reunion, of the Knytes-of-Anarchy , a Hazzard County Homecoming, and a grass roots home built hot rod, custom street muscle, truck, tow truck, Harley show all rolled into one and don’t forget, the Uncle Jessie Hazzard County Chili Cookoff, the Crawdad excellent cookoff, is a reason to be here.
In most locations, that the Hazzard Nationals is done, the local population grows to near 200,000 people. Watch here for details.
