Knytes High Council Meeting last night

KNYTESSCROLLHEADERREAPER CREW REPORT

I can’t believe that here it is the middle of May and I’m running the heater rather than the AC. Seems too cold, which considering last nights High Council meeting with most of us showing up in cages(cars), rather than on two wheels led to some of the conversation.

Thank goodness there’s the meeting room here at the Wentworth, and all, trouble is, no soda pop, in the pop machine, about 70% of the buy out of there has came from me, btw.

Okay so lets get to business and not keep dancing around here.

On the radio station, it’ll go, but as a remote sub-station of what we construct in Utah. Now before ya’ll start bitching the relocation wont hit until late August or September, about as long as it’ll take to get the General JaxSon back together, but once done and living quarters are found I’m outta here. Not going to go through another sub zero winter here. The last one nearly cost me LiL Wolf, not going to happen this winter if I can avoid it. Likewise if your crabbing aren’t we going in reverse here? The thing is as most of ya’ll have heard, Miller Motorsports has decided not to renew their race track located between Tooele and Grantsville Utah. Now imagine if, next spring that track belonged to the Knytes-of-Anarchy, imagine that track becoming a NASCAR road course track, as we had that idea for that very spot long before Larry H, got ahold of it. Now then we build two studios, one in or near our old place in Woods Cross, and one in Tooele(there’s a license to be bought there) as well as bounced the signal out of Wendover Utah. Now then on my end rebuild HCC(HCCLOGO1) there in Tooele, and set up operation of Cooter’s A1 Toewing there, and it’s a no brainer. The other thing is the infrastructure here in Etown. Sure we could attempt to buy out AllWest, and rebuild that system, invest in CenturyLink to go a 1gig connection at $1,100.00 a month, and that would be okay, except you might and this is stretching it a bit, for the current rates we charge for advertising, we’d just break even and a smidge of cash to go into the stash. Question is why? When we can build a operation where all of that is currently set up, and be billing just for the radio station $300,000.00 a month, minimum in income generation. Add to that a place where we could stage any number of Knytes events at the race track from DukesFest West, to our mini SAMCRO rally each year. By now you are seeing the picture. That’s why I set up my AllWest account to a business account, and if all goes well be moving my gear to the Wells Fargo building come the first week of June. Let’s face it we made a bad move in haste to Etown, and I alone have paid the price very dearly, but rather than look at the could haves, should haves and what knott, I say, look to the future and get the majority of the Wolf Pack and the Knytes outta here, where the seeds of our prosperity will not only germinate, but give us a harvest. To our lady at CenturyLink, this is what has caused the delay, the need to have a better return on our investment has to be seen, long before we contract for a 12,000.00 carrier. Since that’s not seen immediately if at all, we are going with AllWest, but thanks for trying.

It may sound like mucho denaro but its really not

HAZZARDAYRE LOGO4knyte lyfe

When people hear about or read about the kind of money per year, that the Knytes, take in, they automatically think, my what a wad to shoot. The reality is, there are 100,000 members in 50 Union states, and Canada, as well Australia that , that money has to be divided amongst, plus the work that goes into producing our various enterprises and projects. Its not all gravy money, and believe me when I say the money gets slim. With the 10 radio stations, 5 TV stations, and all the people that are not club members that expect pay checks, its really not that much. Equipment costs, station facility rentals as well as the few we own, it gets costly. Between the Hazzard Nationals, our version of DukesFest that we call DukesFest West, our mini Sturgis, as well as the big Sturgis, and everything else, that pie gets cut even slimmer. Plus when you consider the AyreWolvez Military Aviation Association, the Deere Dazzlers Association, the Rode Knytes Association as well as the Toew Bro’s Association, their projects the slim pie gets cut even smaller. So just because we expect Mucho Denaro it’s really not that much, so money has to be spent wiser, and clutched to the chest, even tighter. It’s like my friend from CenturyLink who has yet to send me a pic of her. Hey Laura from Comcast did, and she nearly hand held me through the pilgrimage from Twin Falls Idaho to Ogden, she would set up and then cancel installations until we finally found the right spot. Even then that one spot as much as you all know was not that ideal, and had the guy at I4, told me that our mail was in number 8 of the multiple boxed mail rack, I could have paid the Comcast bill and remained solvent. But that’s a story for another time. But that said we lost Comcast, and had to rake out $2,000.00 to pay that bill, and now it’ll cost us big to re-engage Comcast if we ever do. So I had to pay back and thanks to the Uinta View Ward, Evanston Wyoming and Bishop Hiatt, for the help there, but all of that wouldn’t have been if I could have gotten the bill on time. BTW that was some of what was in the file cabinet that mysteriously disappeared, by the time one of the High Priest Quorum and I went last month to bail out. But Laura sent a pic why can’t our rep from CenturyLink do that, it’s not that I’ll just hop on the trike and scoot down there to where she’s at. Anymile, $1,100.00 per month is a bit much. I don’t see why CenturyLink can’t offer the 1gig thing from $1,100.00 to say $350.00 or $400.00 a month, let us demonstrate its abilities, so we could resell it, then in say 6 months or a year, after an audience was built up and all then go to the normal rate of $1,100.00. Kind of like DirecTV. At least DirecTV will give you a system, for an introductory rate, for say 6 months, then it goes to the usual rate.

So that’s that, on that.

Good news, American Idol has been canceled. Yes friends that dumb show has been ripped from the FoX line up, starting after next year. Great, now some great TV again, its like the networks are catching up on scripts and production of the Screen Writers 6 years ago. Now if they would just can Conan Obrien we’d be as happy as a singing wolf pack.

Finally speaking on Comcast, they’re the ones that ought to buy AllWest out and rebuild this system. Hey not ragging on AllWest they do as best as they can with what the do with what they can. However the consumers both business as well as residence subscribers, want more even if it costs a bit more, yet they ignore the survey results. Hey Laura, send this to the powers that be, your company needs to expand to Evanston and surrounding area.

But they try really hard

HAZZARDAYRE LOGO4WOLF WITH A STORY HEAD

Paying more for less, is not something we want to do. It’s not wise business sense or procedure. Yet even signing up for an upgrade to 100mbps yesterday, I thought that I’d get a bit faster upload speed. Yet its still not quite there, Barely touching 3mbps. The lady this morning said in the best case scenario. But if signing up for an upgrade, didn’t she think that might not get there? Sure download bandwidth speed is good, but considering I need to upload a streaming radio station that needs a minimum and even then its problematic at 5mbps, I should be cranking to at least 15mbps, wouldn’t ya’ll think? The service I have is an outfit out of Kamas Utah, called AllWest , a great little rural based telecom, that started in Randolph, Utah years ago. Thing is I see a company suffering that does not really know if even it should, admit its going broke or barely treading water. My question is this, if they are having troubles, why don’t some of their executives sit down with me and the Knytes and chat about us buying the system? Considering just last year, and this year doesn’t look any worse, but last year we brought in a revenue stream of just over $250,million. This year from all our outside enterprises, we expect a revenue generation of just under $300,million. Surely plenty enough to buy all of AllWest out and rebuild the system to modern speeds and do it without the need to give excuses as to why this or that can’t be had. Its not just Internet, even AllWest’ cable TV offerings are slim. Instead of all these high school channels, how about bringing back Viacom’ channels, Spike TV, CMT, VH1 and of course MTV. Of course such channels as BBC, Esquire, and so on would be great change of environment. At a time when many are cutting the cord and going to such places as Net Flix , Hulu, and such, these still viable cable companies need to step up their game. Don’t ya’ll think.

So here's the thing. Called last night when my best Internet upload was at 3.25 mbps, when I asked them should not my upload be faster? Of course they shook me off to their tech people. Who, said unplug the modem and so on. Which I did. So then since this will be the clubs deal when I move everything at the end of the month to the Wells Fargo building and I relocate my bones back into Idaho, this will be ran by someone else. Hopefully Mark, but anymile there will be a new Capo here running things, as such I escalated my account to a business class. So the lady calls to confirm this. Okay fine. Then I’m on the commode and I get a phone call on my cell. So I finish up in the indoor latrine, and answer the phone, but only to find someone had called, and next came the knock on the door, right in the middle of me doing production. Now if being slow was just one computer like my laptop I’d say its me, but both the laptop and big Birtha, my trusty win7 Dell, being too slow? No it’s them. So the tech comes in, swaps out the coax, same results, fast download, slow upload. Might be why nobody else has done an Internet Radio station here, ya’ll think? Then I find that CenturyLink, says they can rip me fast speed once we get in town. Okay fine, they say 1gig, there if I crank out $1,100.00 a month. Even though the club owns the license to this radio station, and I do it as a courtesy duty for the club without pay, btw, and even though the club might be inclined to do this up at $1,100.00 they need to keep costs down while we build an audience here. One of CenturyLink’ people said that Imus could charge because he has a better pipeline, for his recorded archived shows. Sure he can, he makes several million on air per morning. The club, barely scratches $300,000.00 a month and that’s if we can stay on air consistently. Which is why I’m busting my hump to find a solution that’s cost effective, yet gets-r-done.

Not bad mouthing AllWest, they are good up to a point, their two honeys here at the Evanston who are leaving us, soon, knows what their doing. But even they agree, there’s a need for improvement. I can count 2,000 in my LDS Ward, that has said quite emphatically they would pay more for both cable and Internet if it were improved. My advice, AllWest its time to improve the system, or sell it to someone who can.

Yes Allwest isn’t the best, but they do try real hard. Same thing as asking for calves from a steer, true that steer will try real hard, but there’s little to no juice, to produce a calf. Maybe its time to grab the bull by the horns.

Let’s invent the I got to go potty app or button

XD COVER (1)HAZZARD COUNTY WELCOME MAT

Hammering away at the old computer most of the day, as well as being on air during most of that chiseling away I have come with an idea. Instead of just a few minutes pause button, when nature calls, how about a serious I gotta go Potty potty button app or button on your computer? Taking into consideration whether your going to go number 1 or number 2. Number 2 poo-poo might take longer than the normal time frame, depending on the amount of breakfast at JB’s or if you just happened to eat at home or the office a pint of Yogurt, a apple turnover from the infamous Wal-Mart bakery, hey they’re getting better there, even had my audio connections I needed. Guess if you bitch enough you get what your looking for. Any flyte, how about the I gotta potty app potty button so when nature calls you can go when you need to go, and what ever it is you were doing online or on the computator will wait a prescribed 10 to 15 minutes up to an hour depending on the nature of when nature calls.

Now that would be an invention. Finally getting in gear here, and getting ready to bring LexiBelle here. I configured over the last few days, it might be best just to throw down and stay put. Let the Knytes and I sink in here, and fertilize this field that we’ve been planting these seeds in. Even if Mr. Madia does not want to return a phone call, we’re going forward.

Last , should there not be at least if you up your internet connection to 100mbps should not the go up side, go to at least 20 mbps up? I did, upgrade, but the go up side is still about 5mbps. Need to do some talking and squwaking don’t ya’ll think? Last here , how come there’s no place downtown to grab some bacon and eggs with crunchy Hash browns, down town Evanston, surely there’s some that work downtown that’d love to grab breakfast downtown, Ain’t there?

AVI CLUB LOGO my good bye

Maybe I ought to charge money for me

HAZZARDAYRE LOGO4on the air 1

So got off the air, ah it felt good squeezing into your speakers overnight, so to wind down a bit, scanned over the available TV channels and caught the FoX Business Channel and the Best of Imus in the morning. So for shyts and giggles, strolled over to Imus’ fan web site, and found that just to sign up for bulletins and such of Imus, ya’ll have to rake out $30.00. Really? That will not happen with any of what we do online and over the air for ya’ll. I think some of these famous and infamous radio jocks’ web sites, and it goes from Stern to Imus to Bob & Tom, to tune into archived shows or to get 411 of that big headed jock, one needs to pay money. Naw that ain’t right. Networks pay them all too well enough for that, more over, the networks do up the sites by and for these on TV and OTA jocks. As for me, I’m somewhere between infamous and famous and if you want to tune into me, on air or archived just truck or fly over cyber space to www.livestream.com/samcroradio or www.livestream.com/hazzardayre , its free and you can listen to our hijinks' as well as the music and so on. But maybe I’m not doing myself any favors, might I charge and all for ya’ll to drop by fan page. Just might have to look into it, but I’ll tell ya’ll this, it wont cost you more than $10.00. If ya’ll want, send $10.00 to us and we’ll sign you up and you can tune in, as well as get an autographed Tape(cassette) or a cd, of one of my shows. Seems as if ya’ll are going to pay, I’ll get it lower than anyone else does.

See ya’ll on the air on www.livestream.com/hazzardayre at around noon, Mountain Standard time, and at 23:00(11:00 PM) Mountain Standard Time on www.livestream.com/samcroradio .

We’re on the air, well sort of:

HAZZARDAYRE LOGO4we're on the air2

So why, FLAMING HAZZARDFYRE AYRE? HazzardAyre Radio is more, much more than the only voice online streaming radio and over the air radio dedicated to the true history of the Dixie nation. HazzardAyre Radio is the voice of all military aviators and Marine/Navy aviation. HazzardAyre Radio is the voice and music of the Interstate highway, HazzardAyre Radio is the only NPR(National Public Radio) network station between Salt Lake City Utah and Laramie Wyoming. HazzardAyre Radio is the voice and ears of The wyngz outverted and of course the lonely tow truck owner operator. This is HazzardAyre Radio. Now that you know what we are lets clear the mud a bit from our windshield. 11 years ago, a competing online network came on , claiming to be the online radio source for the southern movement. Ray did a really good job, but his time and energy not too mention his financial resources dwindled a bit, and as of March 31st 2015, Dixie Broadcasting ceased running. 15 years ago, a budding online radio program started as warbird radio. Matt tried hard to give us his all but again, took a powder and outside of a little bit of archiving no warbird radio. But who is on the air still? HazzardAyre Radio. Now HazzardAyre was blessed by both the Knytes as well and more importantly Heavenly Father. In fact Heavenly Father gave me the name one night as I went to bed, beat and wondering, in Buhl Idaho in 2011. How to blend the two concepts of all things Hazzard County without so much Dukes, and military aviation especially the experimental The Lady 1625681_599311583496423_1920870493_nfrom which I get my on air handle AyreWolf and the Ayre of HazzardAyre. When all of a sudden through the midst of the middle of the nyte, like a shot of Uncle Jessie’s shine, there it was, just as radiant as Daisy Duke’s legs, HazzardAyre.

HazzardAyre began as the written publication published and distributed everywhere in the Magic Valley which includes, Buhl, Twin Falls , Jerome, Shoshone, area of Idaho, that Monkey Bizzness/Hazzard Gazzette was found. When all of a sudden I got a check, wasn’t much, some $1,500.00 of an interest payment on the Montgomery Foundation, but money none the same. So over to Radio Shack in Twin Falls Idaho, I went, and after some $1,100.00 was spent, HazzardAyre Radio premiered in the summer of 2012. Now distributed to 2,000 radio stations across the United States and Canada, Australia and over the Armed Forces Radio Network, HazzardAyre Radio is everywhere. And now headquartered here in Evanston Wyoming, and about to go fully over the air on our own signal both AM as well as FM. HazzardAyre continues to grow, but its not been easy, but I’m resting easier knowing that the fruit and a harvest is about to come from all of the seed planting, tilling and cultivating this beauty called HazzardAyre.
