I am always amazed at the youth or just barely dry behind the ears youth of today.
Let me give you an example, had a young honey in earlier interning here at HazzardAyre.
I was mixing down some music from the Swedish group of the Disco era, called Abba, her response was
who are they? They are great, never heard them before. Can this be possible? Youth even of mid 20’s demo should know the melodic Heavenly voices and engaging music of Abba. So pulled a sneak, ran in one of Tommy James’ Crimson And Clover, again a blank stare yet I thought even just last season of SOA it was on there.
Our youth and even a bit older who are supposed to know better are deluged by cookie cutter, tribal, hate music. They know little if any of popular rock, heavy metal or even disco era music.
I have again been bitten by the intrigue of the fact that if such bands as Earth Wind & Fire, Abba, KC And the Sunshine Band, to name a few were to do reunion, or for that matter reintroductory tours.
Its been nearly a year now that the Beach Boys released a new album, with the hit That’s Why God Made the Radio. Yet only 6 out of 10 youth can remember the Beach Boys, can this be possible?
The fact that our nation is slipping past us at near warp speed. That hit TV Chef get’s hammered over using the N word, I say okay maybe wrong, but is it as wrong or right you be the judge , of some city person calling a country person or one who farms a Redneck? In that there are now three terms for the term Redneck, Appalachian American, Confederate American(of which I am) or Rural American. The fact that no longer can we discipline our youth with a swat to their butts as in a spanking, and we wonder why the kids have no respect for adult or at least authority. Our schools have to teach Darwin's theory, rather than creation. That we no longer can say God in public , yet our youth think nothing of blaspheme in yelling our God’s name in vane. If you say to a lady that she is pretty or do something good for a woman, your supposed to be getting in their pants, as few ever wear a dress any more, your disdained and yet our society and many of my interns and on coming crew wonder why I can’t even with USMC service and all , by all good conscience can’t honor the American Flag, will not sing the Star Spangled Banner, but treasure any time the Dixie National Anthem plays or I see our Confederate Flag fly I put my hand over my heart. I know a different subject for a different time, but it’s the same with our music. Old Kountry, Rockabilly, 60’s Rock, Disco, if its great music I’m listening to it, and I play it on HazzardAyre, Its like Pantyhose, to Southern Culture, preserving our music is preserving what’s left of our nation.
Old aged iron cars and trucks, vintage warbirds, old fashioned LIVE radio, these are the things that gave our nation is life, its character, and made us the destination by all too many from foreign lands. Not wanting to sound racist, but let’s get that Black Bastard and his cronies out of our nation’s capitol, and lets get some southern , bible believing people in there before we are part of some Muslim nation.
Don’t crush em, restore em, don’t kill our nation, resurrect our America. This is the heart of what HazzardAyre stands for and the core mission of the Knytes-of-Anarchy.
