Okay so went to this men's Bible study tonight at the River from an invite from some guy named Donny. Trouble is, no one knew where the thing was meeting in the building. After playing Sherlock Holmes a bit it was class time. Two others showed, no Donny. Some long hair named Kenny and his brother showed.
Saw a video did the lesson, in it there was this question of who , have you met in the last few months that strengthened your faith and conviction for Christ and God?
Of course, I said Nancy our sis.
Again I need to make this clear, to outsiders and some members of the club, there are no romantic he & She thing going on here. Nancy stepped in where few feared to tread, got my mood turned around, and is one that I know I can confide in , in expressing my inner most feelings and concerns. She is indeed my adopted little Sister and a Sister of the Knytes-of-Anarchy.
So I spoke long and good of Nancy about the things she is going through without giving details, and said to all who listened that Nancy is one that has held me even going to the River, telling me to be patient, understanding and all at the simpletons that are there that love to collect in corners of the church in little clicks, or those who can’t look past their noses to spite their faces.
So then went over to the churches baseball game and had Kenny come with. The guy is not anything all that bright infact his bulb burns a bit dim to say the least, but he does have a sincere love of God, and that makes him one up on my list of qualities I seek when gathering a friend. No Kenny is not Knytes material, but hey he could be useful somewhere.
Still waiting on the parts for Nancy’ Durango, seems as though the year and all of her ride, was during a slight model year tweak, which means parts that normally fit on a Durango, don’t fit hers , so we had to order a new brake master rebuild kit, hoses and so on. Then came the tranny pump, the small plunger somehow got bent, somewhere the tranny has been ran dry. So a solenoid and a plunger pump, had to be ordered, but look to have that kicked out of there this time next week.
In closing as I am beat, Nancy’s Durango, is still being fixed on, and the next time one like Donny says go to a meeting , going to make sure he knows how to get there or that he is there first.
Finally hope Nancy will start answering her phone.
