A new radio station for the Mini Cassia area? Could happen.
The Federal Communications Commission has opened 3 area frequency allocations that could accommodate a new station.
The Knytes of Anarchy is looking at all three. Two of these new frequencies are of the township of Minidoka, one for Raft River. Two are for class A full power FM, and one is for a LPFM or Low Power FM.
As it is now the area is serviced by one, station.
The Knytes of Anarchy thinks that an additional independent , not so conservative and a unreligious biased station would serve the area well. Most of the current programming of the current area station is only live for a few hours a day, and no live programming at night on either AM or FM.
The broadcasting company of the Knytes of Anarchy, is called Dixie Broadcasting of the Mountain West LLC. That operates stations in Wyoming and extreme western Utah.
Programming of the station being applied for of the Knytes of Anarchy, would be aimed at the over the road (OTR) long haul truckers, and gearheads, including tow truck owner/operators.
Currently the Knytes of Anarchy are looking for office/studio facilities in both Burley and Rupert.
The Knytes of Anarchy have one station in construction in the Buhl / Hagerman Idaho area, as well as in the American Falls/Aberdeen area.
