Did Yahoo, take a crap or What?

new hazzardayre coverhazzard daybreak

I have a question, did Yahoo, take a real dump or is it just me? I can’t think its just my computer or ip, since all my other mail programs and such work good, but Yahoo, chute I have to reload that thing twice just to read the club’s email. Plus I have had to sign in every time, no auto sign in.

I have been using for most of my own company’s email, a tiny beta program called Inbox.com This new really free is a no ads, no bullstuff email outlet that is nearly goof proof. It loads faster even than my Gmail, and much faster than our Hotmail account.

On Yahoo. Have you thought that if they had improved the system and company rather than getting in bed with ABC, which I like simply because it’s a subsidiary of Disney and the Disney Channel is one I even watch. And watch it good. I started watching the Disney Channel, when the club radio werx advisors were looking to get a Radio Disney here in Idaho. There is none. When we had the vision of buying KBAR in Rupert Idaho, thought was to rework that into a Radio Disney station, so to study up on the latest things Disney Channel I began to watch. Of course I immediately fell in love Selena Gomez, on Wizards of Waverly Place a show that should have stayed on for at least three more seasons, then started grooving to Shake It Up, both stars on there became big stars in their own right but that series was shut down too early, and then and many in our MC said that they felt me squirrely for watching, but I started getting into the Tinkerbelle series of movies. Of course the first had one song in it sang by Selena and well you get the idea. Add to that Liv and Maddy, and TV without killing, too much sex, violence , and commercials. I’m getting off course here.

Did Yahoo, do too much trying to rework its brand? Maybe they should do more to fix my damn email, on yahoo instead. If any of the rest of you are having trouble with your Yahoo email, let me know. Oh and don’t expect any help from Yahoo, tech either.

L8R Ya’ll,

Make a movie or TV show, get it placed on a major network, get new equipment and fame

new hazzardayre coverstinky truth toew notes

I have seen this more than once. A family at a Iron works company, builds a super theme bike, goes to Florida bike week, get seen by a producer from Discovery, boom, American Chopper. After, a major facility with credit lines up the wahzoo , and well you know the rest. All the major tools and gear, that only a year before would never have happened. Next, while taking nothing away from both, two tow services one in Chicago, one in BC, gets a TV gig, then we see, new modern state of the art rigs, manufacturers want to be seen, so they supply. Again both get new facilities, and tons of credit lines, to buy even more. It’s not just Tow services and bike parts replacers and accessory assemblers, like OCC. They don’t do much in house, including paint and graphics by the way. Sure they do the sketch, but outside firms do the real etching and painting. But even radio people, get this. Example, Howard Stern, sure a raving personality in New York, but here in the restricted Mountain West, few outside the business knew of him. But BOOM, he does a movie(Private-Parts, circa 1994/95) and instant fame. Everyone was tuning into Stern’s show. I near guarantee ya’ll that would not have happened without the movie.

So what’s that got to do with us? What if WE did up a indy(Independent) film, of the club, and radio station/network. Got it into the eye balls of a major studio, can you say , bada bing bada boom, HazzardAyre?

Even the pricks and stuck up broads in Twin Falls would have to regret loosing us. Or at least think about it a second time.

Over the years and I’ll stop here with this tonight since its Christmas and all, but over the years, I have never ever seen a community or an area, that turned its back on, and gave a huge thumbs down to one of its main providers. From the word go, I don’t know of many people, outside of my Mom , my Dad, or me through the Knytes, that has done more to encourage and promote this stinking little town of Twin Falls. Hell even Big Ed, of biker stunts fame got turned down from jumping the frigging canyon, another story another time. But The Knytes have been given the stiff bird salute, over the past 4 years, yet has given more than just about if not all charities, combined. Every good project from the Quick response Unit of Hagerman, to a new firehouse there, many of the improvements in infrastructure, has been because of the Knytes. And or My Mom & Dad. The Montgomery Foundation has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to individuals that claimed one thing but really took Mom & Dad for a ride. A truck person In Wendell, built a major Hog farm operation just outside of Wendell, some $400,000.00 . His son, has yet to come to me and say thanks for what you did for my parents and me, with the loan on that Hog farm , what can I do for you? Even to give me a bay in an old shop next to his out here on Hwy 30.  So wonder why the club and myself are saying enough ? The straw that broke the back of the camel, was when after two years of planning the people owning the place across the singing bridge pulled out of the sale to us for their facility that would have made the Reaper Club. I’ll have more in a day or two, but I see TV shows saluting new business’ coming into Twin Falls and the area, maybe, there ought to be a news thing of why companies and groups are moving out.

Again Have a Happy Hazzard Christmas.

Southern Steele Radio & TV remembering the roots

new hazzardayre coverstinky truth toew notes

A long time forgotten with a few other dreams that fell by the way, The Rode Knytes as we were once known then in 2005 created an umbrella media werx called Southern Steele Media. Today if you look that up online there are many references but not to the original spelling, context or content.

Southern Steele Media was created from the idea of a TV show we had thought of producing, with some Hazzard roots. The idea was to elevate awareness of Hazzard County Choppers. After all American Choppers elevated Orange County Choppers, so we started bringing the ingredients together. Unfortunately the plans along with a impromptu audition for a pitch girl, was at a truck stop in Springville Utah. Some folks from the Discovery Channel also who did American Chopper, overheard what we were doing. By the time we got to the starting gate, a similar show started with a show with the name we gave it. So some respelling and we began constructing ours as Southern Steele, rather than Southern Steel. But the damage was pretty much done. Let’s face it individual creativity, and Hazzard enginuity is not shared or as abundant. Even if you come up with it, copyright it and register it before someone else does, or some data mining, idea snatching person will have it before you take your morning dump. Here’s an example. Few years before one of my migrations to the Beehive state, I had this idea of a custom shop for old vintage iron farm equipment, from Deere’s to Cat’s. Rather than just focus on just the tractors thought everything from plows to combines. Open that up next to the Original Dixie Diesel Shop, as The Farm Shop. So we did in Hazzard Idaho and Evanston Wyoming.

Now Utah has a lot of knowledge and appreciation for many things, and this may sound like I’m going in reverse but bare with me. Utah has not much of any appreciation at least on the west side of the Wasatch Mountains of anything to do with farming or production agriculture. Absolutely none. Long before RFDTV/Rural TV, and all we created under the Southern Steele Media umbrella, a thing we called Farm Kountry Radio/TV. Kind of AG/DAY with some Hazzard County spice. That ended about the time the floor of everything in CokeVille Wyoming fell out. But yet today you can’t find shyt online of any of that happening.

This goes back to some crap yesterday. And some plans we kicked around at the table at tonight's Christmas party. Sure there are people buying faux cuts and stuff from and of the TV show Son’s of Anarchy. Remember it was us that Kurt Sutter tried to duplicate and got the inspiration for SOA from to begin with. Outside of Son’s Kurt’s only claim to fame was a worn out police TV show, called the Shield, and married the old skank from Married with Children. But here’s a TV show of a biker club. Most of what’s there is more dramatic than what is. The fact the real club is called the KNYTES-OF-ANARCHY rather than the Son’s, is one thing, but I don’t think it completely the fault of the public. The public can’t know, what they don’t know. The only public awareness of the Knytes over the past 5 years since we changed the club’s name from the Hazzard Knytes to Knytes of Anarchy, the only awareness has been this blog-newspaper, a syndicated recorded mailed out radio show to everywhere and heard by people not even in Idaho. The few that do, hear about us, here on radio is when we get ballsy enough to fire up the 100 watt transmitter and let er rip with our radio shows. Usually weekends and usually nights. The scrutiny is worse because two TV station owners are listening and will blow the nasty whistle . As long as we are coming out of Buhl, fine. But we start making tunes in Twin, its FCC revenuer time.

But I’m off subject well sort of. We put on the shelf Southern Steele, when I left Utah for Wyoming chasing a split tail. Thinking we’d come back to it. Trouble is, even though I hold a Hotmail email addy for Southern Steele, fact is, most have forgotten it, or the name swallered up, by someone else. I’ll be damned if I’m going to let HazzardAyre/WyldAyre Radio and all get forgotten and swallered up.

Moving to Utah gives me not only the technical resources , but the human resources. Both on air as well as on the websites cover. Rather than having to pick pics from all over the cyber highway, with a TV gear retailer there in salt Lake City, modeling agencies with the eye candy so no more CraigsList floozies that never show up. We can bring to the web. We now have two maybe three people working on the back end. I’m confident that by April, HazzardAyre is going to be online as we have been trying to do from Pocatello to Gooding to Buhl, to here in Twin Falls. There’s a difference in mindsets here as well. Utah we had no problem auditioning talent of the she wolf kind. Even in rent controlled Bountiful. But too, we also were registered all over the place. However even from word of mouth we had good talent even a few that WOULD sleep with this old wolf. Not that is a primary goal , but if she moans I’ll make her howl. Any myle no problem. Here in Idaho, try to stage an audition in the Wolf’s Lair, might as post it on a pay phone in the middle of no where, no body shows, the few show but don’t do anything. Even the gals we lined up in Gooding. If it hadn’t been for Erin, none of the others would have showed up, see it don’t matter if you do, have a office. Even there few showed and the ones that did were not even able. Just like one named Caitlyn, that sent me an inquiry the other day on the club’s email addy. I replied, but she ain’t. I’d crap bricks if once just once, I posted an ad on CL, and one called, showed up walked in sat down in the studio here and could really speak and do radio. Even, just to watch one night, and show up the next and start speaking and being on air. Heck even Erin couldn’t do that until about a week or so before Strickland had to pull our plug. Utah, I’ll bet your next full service on your panhead, that we’ll have a bevy of beauties within one or two calls. Why is that important?

One , the last thing a true biker wants to see is a website that’s bland and generic. They more over we want to see hot legs, hot bikes, smooth trucks and snazzy dragin wagons. Mostly enhanced with lovely fleshy, human eye candy. Not nude, but form fitting leathers, and so on. I myself, beit on a news blip from an aviation site or one from a bike parts site. No babe , its in my trash box. In today’s email world you have one 1000th of a minute second to capture your intended buyer consumer. Bland don’t do it. Likewise the site better have some skin on it too or its going to be ignored faster than Boss Hogg going after raw liver. Now then number –2:

Since its inception, and perhaps it’s a perceived view, but Cable-One Advertising has refused to allow the club, or HCC to air on their channel of FX during Son’s. Well after 6 seasons, the final season of Son’s comes this fall on FX, an ad or two or three, on Comcast Advertising during Son’s is appropriate and will be honored. But it goes too, had Cable-One in its need to protect the religious majority here, that by the way has been running ads for Karnation Clothiers(lady’s underwear) said no, simply because we wanted a Daisy Duke, or a gal in tight leather with a bike to be our pitch girl. Here’s where their ignorance cost them. No Knytes ad, no Snake River Harley Ad, no Roughneck Customs(Jerome Idaho a bike shop) ad.

This final year I want us there. But this goes deeper. If we want to catch our Hazzard County fans, and potential listeners and maybe prospects, CMT is going to be running the Dukes again twice a day every weekday. Imagine the club, the shops, and for us ads for HazzardAyre running on the Dukes, every day.

The bottom line is, done smart, I need all that wish to be, can do and wants to be involved with the club and or HazzardAyre to get in gear. We have a chance to create a raging inferno, if we get busy.

Let’s not let HazzardAyre/WyldAyre go the way of Southern Steele/Farm Kountry. Forgotten and swallered up.

Every nown again I get someone who will tell me the art work and graphics for the blogs and our TV show are good . Which gives me cause to say thank you. Mind you I’m not a web site artist, or graphics designer, the basic description of me is a UCSMC aircraft mechanic/aviator with a GED. Most of what I get, and I’m sorry to say is gained by outlaw. More over a bunch of things the club does is outlaw or at least fight the system. Even the radio station and our radio network started outlaw, that is no FCC license. Just because those revenue sucking Feds say you can’t, we said oh yes we can and did. When doing an outlaw radio station one has to make sure its way off in the sticks somewhere, where not too many legal stations and inspectors start sniffing around to give you a pain in the ass. While all the stations on the network totally owned by the club and as HazzardAyre Radio, are legal now, there are times they were as far from being so. The FCC would look at their contour maps, or distance to another station or frequency overlap and so on, the bastards are in Washington DC, and wouldn’t know Bell Rapids, or Malad Idaho from an ant hill. As far as Bell Rapids there ain’t squat for a station there, except for ours and we had to use Buhl as the home base as Hazzard itself albeit nothing there was too close to those damn analog TV translators over there. I thought when the FCC banned those channels for expansion or to set up nationwide low cost broadband Internet those translators would be history. That nationwide expansion never happened another Obama con job. Those channels and frequency spectrum, was sold to the likes of A.T.&.T and Verizon. Only to put up cell towers. No free broadband or low cost Internet, unless you count texting internet. We all got snowed. Only people that gained from that refarming of channels and all was the cell phone companies, as well as retailers like Radio Shack, and Best Buy . As they got to sell converters and new TV’s. The only other folks that gained there was the cable and satellite companies, since there was only one way that those old big TV’s would work, on cable or satellite. No CCTV? tough you had to buy a new TV or cable/TV. I know it wasn’t fair, but all the blame is not on Obama, the refarm of those TV channels started with G.W. Bush. See those two parties are in bed with each other. More on that in the PM.

All of my graphics though I build from hours of filling in, sampling pics from all over the net, adding my two trucks in, and so on. But I make each and every one, myself using Windows Bitmap. I mean every one of them. Its also like when we did the TV gig , that started with a half hour on warbirds but filled a whole week at one to two hours everyday, with not much more than all Hazzard County content. Now not bragging here, but what we did there was popular, had to be with not only content, but injections of things that were barely copyright legal, if even legal. For once there were people tuning into Pocatello’s Vision12 that had never watched it before, and did not much care. High School kids, College kids, even politicians tuned in and made special guest sit in’s. I always said if the city of Pocatello would have put me in charge of the whole damn place we could have took Vision12 to a whole new altitude. But then as now, I wrote the copy, did pre production, did post production, produced the music, and all of it myself with only two other club members. And only when they were not trailer truckin or toewin. The rest of the time I did the work. Had there been a ratings system for public access TV, I’ll bet money we would have been in the top two if not numero uno. We were airing stuff nobody else would dare. But it was timely information, and comedic entertainment done in Hazzard County style. And that was the end result.

Whether it’s TV, Radio, web blog, or our rides, at least its original, its us, and no one can take that away from us or me, and that’s what piss’s so many off that they can’t do it themselves.

Well much to do today, Christmas eve and all. Plus really need to see Charlie.

More in the PM, L8R Ya’ll,

Luke 2:16-20“So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”
