Now be honest, when you heard there was a series dedicated to the Kardashians , didn’t ya’ll think it was an updated series about the cantankerous Cardassian’s that occupied Bejour of which star station Deep Space 9 orbits. I did in the first time I heard about a TV series involving the offspring of Olympian pro swimmer Bruce Jenner.

TV pirates so much content from so many places and as well only hires actors and actress's from only a chosen pool, that not thinking, “ didn’t I see that person somewhere on something else?” It’s a tragedy that all too many good new talents ever get a splash on something good to open or springboard new careers. Well ya’ll might not need to wait long.

YouTube a subsidiary of Google, is investing some $150,million in new apps to create a new way for new talent and even viewing . Seems as though YouTube wants a larger audience and Google is looking for some new fruit to pick from the ad tree.

Amazing as it is, and all. YouTube is not a place for spewing or showing the best of the next Super-Star. Reality TV is doing that already. Ever since the grand screen writers strike a few years ago now, what is known as reality TV offers networks a way to thrust out new shows with only an outline but for which a script need not be written. Call it advanced adlibbing. Its not bad, but its hardly a way to judge the abilities of new talent.

Now what if there was a upcoming network, dedicated in part to the burgeoning UCSA, yet offered fresh programs or a series, with hardly known actors? While the Indy-film Network offers a glimpse of upcoming stars, the Confederate Star Network, is looking at creating new shows in the fall of 2013, doing just that. Casting unknown or hardly known acting talent, in a plethora of first run, first written productions. Many of which will be shot in and near to Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming, not to mention Montana. To launch the idea, KDXB FM/HazzardAyre Radio, will be working up some short 3 to 5 act radio dramas. Some created by local high-school drama classes and clubs.

Criminals have it easy these days

I don’t know much about these things, but I saw this thing on the TV about this here deal, where ya’ll send some folks your old cell phones and they send ya’ll back money for them. They sezz, that they’ll erase all your stuff from the phone, and then these folks I guess refurbish the cell talker and resell it to poor folk. Funny I’m sorta poor, how about fetching me up one of those low cost cell phones. Shoot , mine cost me near $100.00 and $30.00 a month.  Trouble I see is these companies doing the refurbishing, I think, are makinga killing off of mining the info off your cell phone, to these cyber folks who then use it to send you every kind of offer you can imagine, and some ya’ll cain’t. I say if your even thinking of doing this deal , b4 ya’ll do, pull the sim card out, and do one heck of a memory wipe, then ya’ll know for the most part that these cyber bandits wont be gaining 411 on ya’ll.

Heard tell, that good ole Apple through its Iphone and Iphone 4 can know every where ya’ll go. And the built in gps unit is telling allot more about ya’ll than ya’ll though it was. Techno geeky things are great but, the less ya’ll have of personal things going on with yer cell phone the better. By the highway, Apple has not made any comment on why that chip in their cell phones gathers so much 411 on ya’ll. My guess, is its like them fellers refurbishing phones. The business of gathering 411 on ya’ll is BIG BIZZ , and the cyber bandits are willing to pay big money to get that 411. Now that call centers and telemarketers are loosing ground, the bandits need to find a better way to shove offers down your throat.

Wonder what the FCC as well as the FTC will do over the cell phone tracking shit. Yes the FCC is involved as using gps and any communicating device for the purposes of making money that is not invited or previously disclosed, is a federal crime. Course the harvesters  are in India, Cuba, and China so what  do they care? These days ya’ll need to really be cautious. Since one byte of 411 invytes a trailer truck load of trouble.

Victoria’s Secret, is showing off their latest offerings, my thought, sell me a few of those Victoria’s Secret models wearing that stuff and thys ole wolf will be really tame.

Have ya’ll wondered that here was God(Kahless) doing us a favor taking out half of Japan, a few months ago with a quake and a tsunami and we are helping to put Japan back together. Did we not radiate that nation at the end of WWII? And we’re putting it back together again? Wuzz up with that? I say waste the place and be done with it, including China.

Did you see the thing of some squirrel burning the USA Flag. Phooey, I say send those who do not truly love America , packing back where they damn well came from. Lets make immigration laws so tight and tuff, that unless your born in this country, ya’ll cain’t welfare, food stamps , Medicaid and such. Then these foreigners could not and would not be breaching the fence to get in here.

Executive Operations Director for you not in the know, I still retain my place as Executive State Director of The AyreWolvez Military Aviation Association and am still flying, every chance I get and the fact that I’m overhead at any one time should not trouble anyone after all, that is just what I do. If anything throughout all the turmoil in and surrounding the Knytes-of-Anarchy , the AyreWolvez have stayed cohesive and remain as a strong brotherhood of Marine and Navy Aviators , both retired as well as active as well as us who are the offspring of those who served in that role. As the overhead defense operation of way too many American military and American military supported conflicts and theaters. All too often the aviator of both the USMC and well as NAVY are forgotten. It is the main mission of the AyreWolvez to keep their legends and history alive and living on and to make sure their service , like my Father , is never forgotten. HazzardAyre One Man & A Toew Truck By Cooter

Last night was one of those nytes that sleep was as elusive as a morning dove. Had this sleep vision kinda between a nytemare and a dream. Any myle, was at the old homestead near Hazzard, and someone had cut a road through the aging poplar trees for a second ingress/egress road. Can’t imagine why anyone would cut through that all stretch of trees and ruin the beauty, but then never figured out why I was yanked from that homestead in the first place, many years ago. The final straw that got a burr under my saddle of drifting back east to places else where was the fact that the original home that was there when Mom & Dad first bought the place, back in the late 1940’s was bulldozed , so my birth spot was torn down and as such my roots were cut off and thrown into the fyre so why even be here? No family to speak of , and outside of 3 local area members of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, as well as 2 local members of the AyreWolvez, there is no real connection here so why be where I’m not wanted and where the wheels of real progress grind ever so slowly.

After all too , wasn’t that the reason the membership of both groups voted in 2008 to rework the Hazzard County Knytes into the Knytes-of-Anarchy in the first place? To take what we had built under the fyre of sweat and many tears to new horizons and heights as a reworked and progressive organization? In areas outside of the what we call the original Hazzard Idaho. Why can’t the original be made even better elsewhere, in the same area, as where I found my General Lee? The Mini Cassia area. So that’s what’s going on. Speaking of that however, due to my two sweet goof up’s, both in Wyoming as well as Gooding, my place in the club has been lowered from XO(Executive-Officer) to just XOO (Executive-Operations-Director) Meaning only suggest but not initiate any new projects. Which suits me fine as now I can spend more of my time building my own personal company back up to the level it once was.

Lets face it both LexiBelle and LiL Lexi have been needing serious attention for nearly 8 years , not to mention the General Jackson, plus me starting to make some serious green to elevate my self above the near poverty level I have been living under for the past 10 or so years. Plus I have needed a rest from the grind of the club, for some time.

Oh I’ll be online reporting the news and events of the Knytes and all, but that’s about all. Here in this column I’ll be speaking of my journey on the road of life.

What I see, where I go to toew, and fly. A week from Tomorrow Wednesday I hit the 52nd yard stick, of life, and when only one person in this valley buys me a cup of Java, and a birthday card, one knows that a change of environment is needed. While we travel this road of life, for many of us alone with only Kahless by our sides, still the road is one way. One only gets one trip on this highway of life, and I’m tyred of dying and frying and sacrificing for the good, of a an area, not just the club, but many who will never appreciate my efforts or belittle me for the effort. Not being selfish or anything, its just tyme for good old Cooter to act and enjoy Cooter, and not try to be so much for everybody, just be me for me.

I want to say thank you to our Nurse GoodBody Ellie May for the card and Java, your love and prayers and gifts of self will be my illumination in the darkest of nytes, and treasured always.

Hazzard Jeopardy

It would seem that our beloved Dukes-of-Hazzard is being shelved once more from CMT’s line up. In favor of some bland offerings. Time for ya’ll to write, call and email both Viacom and CMT , and tell them , this ain’t no time to be shelving the show, the one show that raised their ratings back to a proper level.

Oh Really, the Truth hurts don’t it TV LAND?

So I tuned into the TV LAND AWARDS, hoping to see a wholelot more than I did. Oh granted the reunions of the Cosby Show, Family Ties and all were good. The tribute to Welcome Back Kotter as good as it was. But to name Daryl and John Oats as ICONS, was a buy in , if anything. However I think and its showing. The little LPTV Network called Retro TV Network (RTV) has stolen TV LAND, Nick @ Nite and many of the rerun networks thunder. Consider that on RTV, not only can you watch Airwolf, BlackSheep Squadron , but every good action show, from KnightRider to The Rifleman. Add in a dose of Kojak, Marcus Welby MD, the A-Team and you have a very rounded program schedule. Think of The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries that is just some of RTV’s line up. If there was a RTV Awards the damn thing would last at least 2 hours. There would be so many real Icons that TV-Land and its parent company Viacomm could not compete.

So then go to TV-LAND’s Web site to comment, nope ya’ll cain’t get in that door. My money, ad money that is , is with RTV and few if any other.

The rest of TV is scared squatless of both RTV and RFDTV, after all where else can you watch HeeHaw than on RFDTV? Maybe the rest of TV needs to look much more carefully at RTV, and take a few pages out of RTV’s book.

TV REALLY NEEDS REPAIR IS THERE A FIX?

I have been told that I’m much harder on the modern era TV industry than I should be. I have been told as well , that this era’s TV, industry has been hammered both from the poor economy and thus local as well as national TV ad revenue is just not what it used to be. Yet I scratch my head, and think in an era of the technology and the shrinking viewership of modern TV to mobile devices, streaming TV and Internet TV that station and network execs would want to strengthen its presence rather than seeing a continued shrinking market. Even if you have only 1% of the market, 1% is better than none. Which ABC this past week might be cutting its own throat. ABC said they were pulling , “ All My Children” and “One Life to Live” and replacing it with a health beauty show. Don’t we have enough of those with the Doctors, and Dr. Oz. ?  NBC runs an expanded version of the Today show with one old gal who used to counter chair with Regis, and that get’s boring. How about a new idea? Run a show on daytime directed to us male corpuscles? You know, something for us guys not so much women’s topics.  Like how fickle women can be, or how territorial women can be. How about doing topics directed to us male private areas not just about a woman’s vagina? When Spike TV went on the air when it took over what was then The Nashville Network (TNN) which was the sister network of CMT that , thankfully carries our Dukes-of-Hazzard every day, which by the highway is the only reason I pay for cable, the idea of Spike was to be the first network for men. Really? The only show that hazz been retained to the core of Spike TV, is Manswers.

Sunday TV is the pits. I never thought I’d see John Stossel on FoX News Channel, as John was one of the last cornerstones of ABC. In fact TV after 22:00 hours sucks. Used to be there was two late night TV show’s, The Tonight Show with old Johnny Carson , then Jay Leno took that over, and in came David Letterman. Then the FoX channel began Arsenio Hall, and the rage was on. Shortly there after , every washed up celebrity was trying to do a late night comic/interview show. Or Late night variety show. Conan Obrien got washed out of NBC, and now is on TBS. Problem is with so many variety and talk shows, guests are becoming fewer, and interviews becoming worse. Cable TV was to be the saving grace of television. You’d think for a medium that You and I have to pay for, cable TV could give us something for our money, except, infomercials and only a few networks that have anything on that’s entertaining. I know your supposed to be asleep at that time, but damn it if basic and expanded basic is going to just give us garbage, why not offer that free, and charge only for the upper tier or digital HD channels? Let’s face it as far as TV is concerned today, such LPTV networks like RTV, are making a name for themselves by programming things worth watching , things that the whole family can wrap themselves around, and hey LPTV is free OTA ,TV. So then the gripe is not any ad revenue. Have you seen any real creative TV ad’s lately? Give me something for my money and I’d be happy to be an advertiser. Problem is and especially here in our rural area. Creative TV ads are shunned. If your in the Tragic Valley of Idaho nearly 80% of local TV ads are produced, by KMVT-11. With boring abstract infantile jingles and poorer video. Oh and don’t even try to produce a TV ad that has a female pitch girl on it. Hong Kong Phooey, the local TV stations and Cable-One here will never air it. Reasoning is, that it’ll piss off the Mormons and/or the Mormons will boycott other business’s advertising on that station and or the station itself.

I have talked to , too many business’s that are even owned by Mormons that they too would like to see more creative , even humor aimed commercials.

Is there a fix? Yes, but such fixes are still at the drawing board. Such innovative TV networks like Confederate STar Tv , plus I’d like to see RTV (Retro TV) get on cable. Then there are satellite TV channels that should be on cable but are not. Like RFDTV to name one. Nope, according to Cable-One’s execs, the Return on Investment is not there. Excuse me? RFDTV as well as RTV would be welcomed even locally supported if it was on the local cable system. Even Mormons would support both those networks, because they are family and rurally oriented. And yet the local idiots will not budge. Yet Cable-One is so against local competition, they will hammer even a smidge of another cable system. The war between the mini Cassia’s local network and Cable-One is starting to get serious. Even though Rupert’s cable system offers many of the channels, in the basic and expanded basic tier that Cable-One offers in their upper tier. FOR MORE MONEY!!!

Now as I close. A few weeks ago my tiny laptop computer swallered a virus. So I took it to this outfit in Twin Falls , called Microchips. They got out the virus okay but most of my computers drivers and such are hammered. If I repair a car or truck, and I make a goof, I own up to it and usually will refund my labor charges. And allow my customer if he or she wants to, to take it elsewhere. Not Microchips. I tried to get Microchips to refund part of the $130.00 I paid them, to no avail. In an era of tight budgets, and all , retaining customers ought to be worth doing the right thing. I wish the outfit that was once in Mountain Home although I dislike that town terribly. But there used to be an outfit there, across from where the local Sprint Cell Phone dealer is now. I took a old desktop to them in 2000 for repair due to a virus issue. Not only did they tune up the computer, but installed a bigger fan to keep the processor cooler, but a aux power supply, and a new processor. From AMD. The computer was better than when I took it in, And it only cost me the same $130.00 . I wont be going back there again, and if you respect your wallet, you shouldn’t either.
