There are Confederates and Southern faithful, who really are and those that ain’t

I truly love goin to church. You get to see the idiotic and the blasphemers up front.

You can immediately tell, the people who are true, believers and are there for Jesus, and the ones that are there, for show or to play lets make a deal.

Of course few realize when I’m there, it truly is the hour of the kaynyne in amongst the sheep.

Went to the River Fellowship, while there sat where they push the buttons for the service and TV broadcast and from the show last week they truly need divine inspiration . Now did I get much more than a wink? Nope. Heck you’d think I was a mere mutt begging for a bone, and a bare one to begin with. Really? The entire lesson, was about some 30 day Challenge of making yourself a part of Gods army, in service not just by lip service. Hey I got an idea, when someone is asking to be part of something don’t keep slamming the fracking door shut.

Then there are those that say they are confederate and all, I have an idea, they ain’t.

Fine, but with all the barking of General Lee, the infamous Dodge Charger on the Dukes, you never saw a General Lee celebration. Let’s honor those that would have kept fighting and not have surrendered like Robert E did.

Keep it current and how long is RFDTV going to run that damn My Pillow infomercial?

As I got undressed to go to bed so I could get up for church, I saw back to back for three hours long that damn infomercial of My Pillow.

Does RFDTV going to use this guys ad time of a 52 week buy , this way? For most of us, while I’m ordering one of these things to see if its good, then report to you the real results the question is, as it is every Sunday, morning early, Do they got to run this again?

So I did a quick search on the net from Google . Found this bit and clip that shows on a search, from Google. Problem is the video clip is no longer available since it was done in 2006, and the rest of the article is no longer germane.

Can’t those search engines update search results and give us something that is of the immediate 5 years? Rather than go back ten years and find things that are no longer prudent.

What I try to do each day, if not 5 times plus but at least once, is to keep YOU informed on things as they are in 2013. Not always dredge up the past except where historical background for an article requires it.

The question is, hey Patrick of RFDTV and Tim of RFDTV, can’t you do something, limit this old and I mean OLD, MyPillow infomercial?

With some Tweets to tell the Tweeter, who the Fuck Cares?

There are times, that I get what’s called Tweets from my Twitter account, that I’d like to just ask, the Tweeter, “Who the Fuck cares?” I mean if it has nothing to do with the Confederacy of Today, if it has nothing to do with HazzardAyre, or WyldAyre, or even the Knytes, I quite really don’t give a squat. I’m sure there is, but there ought to be a filter, like Facebook has(only real part of facebook I like) is a button, to alert me to only important notices or alerts. How about a button on my Twitter account for only what I want to see and know about, but to hell with the others. I want that button. >>> I can’t help it I like that cartoon, its how I feel sometimes, get promised much, yet get little. Makes, me wish at times, although there was troubles there, that I’d have left things alone, and stayed in Burley. At least I was nearer to Utah and had a shop to rework my own equipment to the ability to get out of this state. Sure the station in Buhl would have suffered, but who gives a squat? I could have sold it at least then, and taken the money moved to Utah and forgot this idiotic state. But hence I’m here and like a Navy Seal, I’m staying to finish the job I was deployed here to do, put this gall darn radio station on the air.

At least when I’m wrong I apologize

When I’m wrong whether in a statement online or on air I will admit it. That’s one of the reasons this blog exists.

That said, I also don’t back down too much.

Case-n-point, I thought our beautiful Amber, was one of those being a pipeline to Big C, who doesn’t care what I do on my own time.

But rather his other half. Well come to find the person who fed me the 411 on that issue was as full of crap as a day old diaper. So to Amber, I’m very sorry, that I spoke out of turn, that said. Some people are too busy and into their other gig to get involved or put in the time that doing internship here at Confederate Star/HazzardAyre, is too much. Especially without a pay check. This is another reason why we do the 6 month prospect thing. If someone don’t cut it after a month or so, or does not have time, then I can cut em loose and nobody is worse for wear.

Now how could I be mislead?

Last December for a mere experiment, we here at HazzardAyre thought maybe the good recruits in Gooding when we were there could be repeated. So I put up an ad on CraigsList. Guess the scenery has changed as all too many people are spooked about entering a private home, although I know many business’s near here are also housed in a private home.

The fallout here was people saw me and thought he can’t pay anyone anything. I’ll tell you true, I myself can’t. But the club, CAN pay, does pay and pays extremely well for people who stick it out. Both lady's and a few guys who come to us for various on air and club jobs  make damn good wages. The other day, I looked at the books of the club nationally as well as our two state charter. The Knytes-of-Anarchy the Idaho-Utah Charter, has in its cash stash, just over $15,million bucks. Nationally, SAMCROMC(the real SAMCRO MC) has in its holding tank, just under $250,million. I think we are doing well. But its up to each charter President or officers are charged with the responsibility of managing these funds. If one of us fuggles something up, our butts get raked , and it ain’t fun to get raked. The only operational stations we have running right now are in Rigby, and American Falls Idaho, and our Fort Bridger Wyoming station. This is not just an orphan here in Buhl. However the foot stubs I did in both Gooding and in Burley, has cost me in reputation to the club. In essence , until generating both programming , much of KDXB in Buhl and ops here in the Tragic Valley are coming out of a very shallow pocket, MINE. Oh and yes my life does revolve around Big C, since Big C, signs my checks and when his better half bitches at him about something I’m doing, I get money taken out of that shallow pocket. That in itself is changing, but like the times it has taken to get the bean counter duties reassigned before, taking that duty away from BIG C, and me finding a close by but other place to hang my hat is going to take time.

But I’m beginning to ramble, to Amber I apologize, I was wrong.

The price of arrogance and ignorance

There are times its hard to be a commander of a squadron, or leader of a group.

You try to retain a possible friend for a job or spot on your team, but if they procrastinate and refuse to get after it, you need to bid the person good bye.

There’s been a great person that I considered to be the one to manage the operation of KDXB in Buhl, due to both logistics as well as me breaking wind and relocating by this time next year.

In both cases that ain’t happening. Amber ain’t no way interested any more she’d rather clean teeth for a dentist, than become a radio media person. Makes ya’ll wonder why she applied in the first place. Two reasons, One it meant a quick high paying job, to assist her during school, two; she was a snoop for Big C(Charlie). So she came by the house, where I missed fish night at the Depot, to meet with her. Any of ya’ll who have been here in Twin Falls, the Depot Grill, has the best darn shrimp on the face of the planet. I don’t care about the rest of the garnishments, but I can get spuds, with gravy, rich brown gravy and all the dang shrimp I can scarf down, for $13.00 . Beats the hell out of Chuck-O –Rama. So anything the makes it to where I miss that , piss’s me off. Amber did, but here’s the thing, even though she did not accept the spot on our media team, she hasn’t even came by, even to give me the $13.00 so I could make up for that Friday night I had to hang around here waiting for her. Two, she was a pipeline to Big C’s 44, of all that went online. I told ya’ll about that earlier so need to go into this further, but in short, I defriended her on Facebook, and later today in all me email contacts, simply put adios honey, you blew it, and we ain’t begging. She’ll be back you can bet on it.

As far as the infinite delay on my departure, until such time as my own rides are in shape to make the move, as soon as I myself have saved up the cash and three and this is the big one until a club member or two, or someone I trust to sit in the drivers seat of radio ops in Buhl, I gotta stay. So I pulled in my reins and pulled up my boots and said , for a year or two, I’m here.

Bring Dixie Toewing back up to the supreme level we were before I got forced outta my house in 84 by a greedy Trustee to Boise. Then b4 I got stupid chasing nuikiee , in coming back here in late 2006. My bad.

However, the gals like Amber, will be the same ones, that once we are firing on all cylinders will be the ones lined up in front of the door wanting to be part of the ultimate southern fried radio gig in the Mountain West.

There’s going to be only one response , and I’ll refrain from saying it here.

Taking the rest of the day off, to get some personal stuff done, but will be in the cockpit overnight Saturday into Sunday. And then Sunday afternoon after church. God says I have to forgive, I do, but perhaps Amber and some others ought to do some repenting, to me.

About this Emma thing

I caught some crap this morning over my favoring this new talent that I found by watching RFDTV.

Emma Leigh >>>>>>> is, I ‘ll grant you is only 16 years old. Yes I know she is still in many ways a kid, but so was Selena Gomez and Annette Funicello that we lost this week. Nobody would have gave crap to Walt Disney, when he discovered Annette, and I shouldn’t be given crap for the enjoyment of Emma’s music. I love that driving beat and solid kountry pickin on Cupid’s Got a Shotgun. Daddy’s Little Girl brings me to tears. Emma’s vocal range and butt kickin attitude makes her music just like what you’d expect on HazzardAyre. In fact one of the band members on her appearance on Virginia Dreams Center Stage, just happens to be one the members of Cooter’s Garage Band.

Now it does not matter if it’s a hot single female teen with a golden voice, or a disco dancing monkey, I love music and when I hear it, and its this good, its going to be on HazzardAyre.

Now if I can just get her manager Jeff, to send me that dj/fan pack.

Being the best of the best despite the odds

Population, 1800, on the edge of a Native American reservation. It was there that Dave Anderson created famous Dave's, Bar-B-Que.

How does that relate to the Knytes and or me?

The Knytes way back in our dark ages said lets create the very best of the best radio station that there is, no matter the service market,

size of town or those that would hinder or ridicule it.

Like Dave , who loved his choice of enterprise, I have a passion for this medium called radio. To me radio is magic. Radio reaches into every place anyone is. Radio is very intimate, since through that tiny transistor, or large, super stereo , I enter your ears. Just like all the pioneers and risk takers in radio, from Charley Douglas who created the original Road Gang, to Howard Stern, mixing in WolfMan Jack, and Dr. Demento . Such celebrities as George Carlin, and many comics, even legendary Johnny Carson, Waylon Jennings, and more got started in radio. Waylon worked at many radio stations including one here in Idaho, over in Blackfoot as well as in Salt Lake City, the list goes on. The fact is I love music, of all forms, I love slap stick comedy and I love drama. As such all these things, came and continue to come into your life through radio.

I love the way a certain song can make a persons day, I am honored to deliver that most important news story, or send you out to the High School basketball game through a live play by play broadcast. This is radio.

Radio over the years has nearly caved, to IPODS, Cell phone tuners, IPADS , and satellite, but remember there is still someone in a 5X5 studio, behind a mic. Too bad the music is no longer listener generated or segwayed by a personality that bridge one song to another or build a play list, by both Known artists, as well as many not so known artists.

I’m lucky, I learned from the very best, in our area. From Kelly at KEEP(now KEZJ) to Country Joe at KSOP, in Salt Lake City, and many others, yes even WolfMan Jack himself.

I remember legends in this business, Like Robert W Morgan, Cassy Kassm, and others. Bill Mack(Wrote Blue for Leann Rhymes) and all too many others. These are the people I drew from in creating my on air personality from.

But to deliver quality ultra groovy radio, needs a belief. More over, a radio station program director, with an open mind, not one scared of putting on something that might piss of the religious persuasion, but rather someone who says do what you feel.

This is what created at first Highway Hooker Radio , the only show on radio for those who toew, to Dixie Diesel>> all the way to where we are at now HazzardAyre/WyldAyre Radio. Daring to do radio that others wont. This is the goal, be the best and continue outscoring and achieving being the best of the best even excelling beyond the best radio station and build a coast to coast satellite radio network, defending the rights of and educating the ones who don’t know, of our Southern heritage, in a package that they can consume that most can digest, that of the Dukes of Hazzard, that is what I do every day.
