That did not last long, Thank goodness for the agency in Salt Lake City

There are times that I wonder about some people. The rush to judgment or lack of intelligence on a subject be a place, person or thing, leads to a bunch of caution. Too much caution, but by then the damage is done, opportunity is thwarted and you look back and think, maybe there are a few that need to dig a bit deeper than just the web to find the real answers. Like Flash digging for a bone, there are folks that only look at a very limited shallow well called the Internet.

The thing is there are tons of things that were out there, that never caught the web. If they did it was at the tail end of something.

Example; Mike Parkhurst, if one digs on the Internet you might find a mere cover shot of Overdrive that had gorgeous models with trucks>but little else. Information on the now redone version that is the United American Independent Truckers Association one of our parent organizations, is so covered if at all shown that many would never find anything. So they look, think is kaput, put us in the “when I Get around to it” file and its cat and mouse to pin someone down on a project.

Like our associated agency out of Denver. The Castro Agency, says he wants to be our one stop talent agency. Would like to come up, with a couple of the gals, have a meeting. Fine he pays to fly, drive whatever, the club covers meals and lodging. If it’s a full shoot once talent and all is approved documents are inked we cover all expenses but not before.

So Mike says, he’ll call to set dates, no call. Then can’t even post anything on his Facebook so he can see some of what we have in mind so he can pick some of his talent that might be right for us.

So a bit heated I email, says he wants to talk on phone, no problem, but I do not dig delays, money is in the bank, projects are on the stove about to boil , time to act is now.

Considering the 50 models and product demo models we’ll need in 2014 at DukesFest West, our commercials for that, that will be aired nationwide, our local ads for the club, and the radio gig HazzardAyre, plus the website to name a few, for a upcoming talent agency this is gold, ready for the mining. But I also remember the fuss we gave Emma Leigh, as well. Thinking she was the hottest new country singer , that does have vocal chords that melt a heart far better than Taylor Swift or Carry Underwood, giving a full weekend to run only her music, a call in interview although partly one sided as our phone hybrid was having a headache, but all of that. So I pitched the idea of putting Emma in Sutter’ SOA for fall. Guess what? All of a sudden, no communication, no phone calls, even to the point her manager defriended us on Facebook. Usually I’m not alarmed, but I paid for rooms, and a limo or two on the 29th. Thanks to the limo company they refunded the money, not so much the motels. Which means the club is out $800.00 for accommodations. This is what makes me jittery when your working at booking talent or anything, and get dropped like a hot spud.

If these people only thought of how much influence and how much on screen and media power we generate, many might be a bit more open arms and willing to jump in the pool.

Granted Idaho, and Twin Falls might not be Hollywood, but remember out of Twin Falls’ back door is Sun Valley, home to Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, and good old Arnold , former Governor of California as well as the Terminator, and one can see that, be seen in one place, a name dropped or two and an upcoming talent and her agent/agency goes gold. Couple that with DukesFest West, HazzardAyre and our movie coming in 2015, to begin production, if I were Castro Agency, I’d be finding my way to Twin Falls, and not be so damn worried about the money and more concerned with the craft.

So we now need to tuck tail, go to Salt Lake mine what agencies we can, and if I need to, put stuff up again on Craigs List etc. Maybe a trip to Hollywood is required to find our agency.

It’s the same stuff, just a different day. The same reruns on CH-38, you’d think with the financial abilities of the NRB Network and our own KCJY here ran of course by the River Fellowship, that there could be some both local as well as new programming, but no, that might take putting an experienced broadcast professional in charge that’d do the duty as a NONE PAID volunteer. Same goes with their ability to inject a few station promos and psa’. Trouble is that you’ll be there getting into gospel teachings, and the computer is screwed up to the point that it injects a message at the wrong time. There is a solution here, have a real live person there to push a button , oh but wait that’d take another volunteer, and the River’s broadcast elite don’t want those who belong to the congregation to enter that inner sanctuary. After all the pride that runs through there is so thick you can cut it with a toothpick. Those that are doing that duty do not want anyone getting involved that can do that better than they. Oh well, all I can say Confederate Steele TV is coming.

So I’m here holding my stomach. The forgot the number of beers, along with beer battered shrimp, and beer battered onion rings from our meeting here, has got me a bit under the weather.

Oh sure I had visions of going to breakfast at the River, but in my condition of brother Blackbeard had crossed my path and mouthed off , I’d more than likely wrenched his head off his shoulders in my bare hands, so decided to stay home.

Slept most of the day, as one should on the true Sabbath Day.

Oh how I’ll be thankful to Jesus when this $150.00 I owe to Cable One is paid and I get cable again, but now I know why Cable One will not put the stations of the River on their system. No body would want to watch.

We were Hookers before the name was cool.

So didn’t go to church breakfast as I’d planned. Was on air had to finish up things, plus I see enough of those delinquents anyway on Sunday’s and Wednesdays, plus I like keeping happy, not feeling like wrenching some bearded assholes head off with my bare hands, so I stayed home here at the Wolf’s Lair.

Okay then, cruising over the Cyber Highway, saw where there’s a new page on Facebook, called Hanging with Hookers. Fine it works, but every once in awhile I’d like to see some credit gave where its deserved.

Fact is my company started out as Highway Hooker Towing long before the name was cool, just kind of out there and it worked. I was writing Highway Hooker Tymez and Toew Tymez, long before anyone else did, and if push comes to shove here, The Hazzard County Towing Association was originally and in many ways still is, the Classic Hookers-of-America.

Nobody else is paying for Highway Hooker Radio, or producing it as we are, and nobody else nearly got shot in CokeVille Wyoming, from some Barney Fife down there that could not see beyond his face that the word Hooker had two different meanings, ours being tow truck.

Highway Hooker Toewing is still us, running in Boise and Malad Idaho respectively.

So maybe there is a need for such social sites as Facebook, and others to check over trademarks before granting permission to use names of Facebook pages. Or if any money is generated from one to share the royalties with those whose name it was in the first place and not allow the continued theft of intellectual property.

TV Series about toewing

I was reading in one of those newsletters that are really web infomercials disguised as a something with some measure of news in it.

Mostly this one from Nick Kemper out of somewhere in Oregon or Washington state, is more like a quick blog with some ads of his outfit mixed in.

Once in awhile he’ll throw something in that directly impacts this industry of going toewing .

The first one is this bit from the NSA and Obama, allowing sooper spies to look at what you do online, and can eavesdrop on you cell phone conversations. Yes we are living in times that allow for a partial police state. Funny, when south Vietnam was fighting this from the damn commies we sent a bunch of our people to die to thwart off such a thing. Yet now we have it here.

God promised us this, and sadly I don’t really know what to do. Yes I preach that we should all subscribe to the Confederate National Party, elect a southern states candidate under or running on the CNP ticket, and try to regain some assemblence of balance between protection of our people and letting that mirage to be a way for any administration to put people in jail because they spoke ill of that administration. If you don’t think that’s on the table, your as blind as one could be.

Next Nick was talking about doing a TV show or at least a fictional drama, of the toewing industry. I fully agree, and wasn’t that a project of ours some years ago. Trouble is, or was, was trying to raise money to at least shoot a pilot or sample episode to pitch to say Universal or Warner Brothers, even FX, who would be one of the best and most likely to run such a show.

Even get Kurt Sutter Exec behind our treasured show Sons of Anarchy. I could see it, get off this junk of reality TV, and shows like the one called Lizard Lick Towing on the TrueTV Network. Again raising the money.

So I pitch this to Nick, at TowParts, hey you want to see this, how much of your own money can or would YOU contribute to such a project? After all how many times has our organization pitched to you to buy time on our radio show for and of toewing? You could not be bothered for $500.00 that’s $100.00 per show run, per week , yet you want to do a TV drama.

In contrast, The Knytes-of-Anarchy in partnership, with our parent organization the United American Independent Toewing Association has been building this radio network of small radio stations into the only show on radio on and for us who toew. (tow mis-spelled on purpose) since 1984. To date, nearly $35,million dollars has been spent, and the little toew truck that could that we kindly call Highway Hooker Radio, is generating just over $1,million dollars in ad revenue. My question Nick is this, what have you done to help?

Any way, long night on the streets, I’m beat catching some needed zz’s before heading out to Church to serve breakfast.

Okay so I’m watching RFDTV again between Highway to Heaven and the last installment of the RuralTV news, and see this off center version of the old Shotgun Red Variety show.

The show contained a song by some guy with the last name of Hilan, so it says you can find it on YouTube. Fine so I go to YouTube, did a search, no where to be found.

This is what piss’ me off the worst. If RFDTV through its sibling FamilyNet is going to run these old shows, edit out links that no longer are available, or don’t show these old shows.

The one thing I know is, if HazzardAyre gives a web link to anything bet your next plate of crawdad, that its there.

Its called integrity, and being as near perfect as can be, for a station ran by Confederate Marines for the grace and uplifting of God could there be anything less.

Get it together at RFDTV or sell the damn thing to someone with the money who can. Oh and that someone? Confederate Steele Media and us here at HazzardAyre TV.

Wasn’t I the blessed one?

As I was taking my mid morning nap I got to thinking, my have I been the blessed one.

From the hour of my birth I have had a life, that has been both privileged and blessed.

I have been fortunate to have had the same parents from birth.

Mom And Dad married , dad had one wife before my Mom but, all the time, my mom and dad stuck together, albeit they did have what I’d call some near knock down drag out fights, still Mom never left, Dad never struck Mom, Dad always provided a decent income to our home, Mom worked part military as well as civil service at Hill Air Force Base Utah, Dad did double duty as an OSI officer at Hill, and all the time, Dad and Mom from some God inspired or provided ability, to look at property or some investment, where they’d buy low, sell high or build better what they bought. I unfortunately do not have that skill as well as they did, but I do have that instinct to stick with something until the crop so to speak is ready for harvest.

It wasn’t until I was 7, years old that a miracle started, although the miracle is still in court to get our investment back, but I can remember My Dad, a guy named Ed Thomas and another man from Brigham City Utah, named O Jay Call, created a partly high class Truck Stop in Ogden Utah on ground Dad owned. That truck stop grew into what some of you know as Flying J.

Thing is I never have wanted for anything ever. The only times I have been down and out is when I didn’t know how to manage money well. Mom & Dad made sure I would not loose it all, Mom brought in two close family members who became Trustees of something called the Montgomery Foundation. The one blew our house when he conspired with a real estate broker in Hagerman of Jensen Realty, on the sale of our family home. Their dealings blew up in their faces, but fact is I lost the house, but I still had a roof over my head, money in my pocket and a company to run, my company that is part AyreWolf Aviation the other Dixie Toewing.

In 2003 when Flying J went bankrupt, it took the majority of the Foundations money with it. That is still in court to get our money back. Of that $250,million, I’ll be able to recover about $25, million after attorneys are paid, but even at that $25,million is not bad , that’s expected in mid year 2015. The bottom line I hear at Church and so many places, how bad marriages, bad drug addictions etc, brought people to God, thing is I have always been with God, and maybe that’s why I have always been so blessed.

As I close to get some more sleep, I need to say, that last night watching a poor River Softball team trying to win which they didn’t game, there was this gal from Hollister Idaho, there that was asking questions about the River, who she being LDS, Kenny the friend of mine did not have answers for. I suppose it takes someone that knows LDS teachings to answer such questions. I think though this gal was looking for a guy to keep. Why else drive to a men's softball game from Hollister for something to do.

Had Kenny not been there I most likely would have invited her back to my place. I didn’t but I sure wanted to.

Haven’t heard from our sis Nancy in a few days, and calls are going unanswered or going to straight voice mail. In that I’m not upset , just concerned as her Durango, is at a close friends getting repaired that I’m paying for parts for.

Maybe Nancy will call today.

Sometimes making a friend so close to a close friend can make some guys a bit nervous, and I think Nancy’ hubby has voiced some objection somewhere and that’s the cause of the disconnect. We will see,.

04:00 hour mystery

It’s becoming a usual now, that at 04:00 Hours that’s 4:00AM for you none military folk out there, that just like clockwork or programmed this way, but at 04:00 Hours, SpeedConnect goes blank for about 5 minutes then fires back up after a refire on the old computer. Who knows the malady, I ain’t a computer geek, never was. Sound techno guru maybe but never a geek, I was always out drinking, and cruising. Which noticeable here in Twin Falls on a Friday or Saturday night no more weekend cruising like there was when I was here before I took off for USMC basic, in 77.

Back then , both Blue Lake BLVD and Addison to the old Hospital, was covered in rolling lead and steel, guys getting gals, scarfing down a float at A&W when A&W was where Mr. Burger is now at Kimberly Road and Blue Lakes.

Of course just as Albertsons and what was RiteAid Drug Store now some strip Mall, we’d cruise in there down a couple of pints of Jack, get laid, down another pint of Jack, grab fuel at Mr. Gas, kill the Packman machine and cruise on back down to Hazzard 35 miles away pretty happy.

Face it both Burley and Twin Falls and it seems Twin Falls was growing but seems like Twin falls’ growth came to a standing stop. Don’t know if it was that the word got put out, about the no new business’ due to no more capacity on the city’s sewer and water supply, or what but the fire under Twin Falls’ saddle got dislodged and now that work horse done stopped.

Did a research scan, did you know that Idaho Falls has 10,000 more people now than Twin Falls does? The only major employer is out on the Arco desert the INEEL, or whatever its name is now, but the nuke site is. The rest of Idaho Falls is just like Twin Falls, is, farm driven. So why is Idaho Falls growing and we’re not? Sounds like the growth hammer is swinging right or east rather than left. Don’t worry in 20 years , the hammer will swing west or left again, but that growth will be stymied if attitudes in Twin Falls don’t change.

Now in yesterday’ entry I alluded to the fact that Twin Falls now wears the nick name Tweaker Flatts.

Example of why,

If one goes to the River Fellowship, church Filer and Shoshone Falls Road Twin Falls, if you go when Testimony meeting recitals are given, 8 out of 10 of those testimonies of someone coming to Christ, is due to some sort of addiction, to some drug. Of those 8 at least 6 will be because of Meth. Really. It’s that bad. Whatever happened to simple stuff like a bag of weed and a bottle of Jack, that never really hurt no one.

Any mile, I have yet to hear anyone yap about being a sex addict. Do you know if you are a sex addict there are no programs for that in Twin Falls, including the River? None. There is not even a sex therapist to help treat these addictions, no head shrink specializing in sex disorders. My only sex disorder is not getting any. We see all these none married women carrying kids, and yet I ask, why can’t I have one? Heck.

The Meth and synthetic drug trade in Twin Falls is epidemic, no matter where you go someone is addicted to, has been addicted to, Meth, or nose candy.

That’s why Twin Falls went from queer capitol of Idaho to Meth Capitol of Idaho.

Now if you think that I’m upset about this your right. I want our area to go back to the time when this area was willing to allow anybody with an idea to take a shot at it and make it grow. I want greedy landlords who own industrial property to cut their damn rent rates down to $250.00 a month or less allowing small business’s to get started.

Oh I must mention this, at 05:21 here SpeedConnects service quit again.

Hope SpeedConnect will do something soon, or I’ll have to begin looking into a new provider both for our operation here in Twin as well as Buhl.

Burley has industrial property for $175 to 150.00 a month and that includes power.

Any mile before SpeedConnect goes out again, I’ll get this posted, but this is why Twin Falls wears the crown of Tweaker Flatts.
