HA JAVA BREAK

First off, here; don’t piss off those administering facebook. Say one damn thing they don’t like, or tell some sponsors like Match.com they’re full of shit, and your posts don’t get posted or, you get a bunch of those captchas, just to get what your barking on their precious page. Which is supposed to be your page. Bulls breath, you freedom of speech here is not guaranteed. Nope, what you post of Facebook is owned by Facebook, NOT you, its in the TOS or Terms-of-Service, that many of us fail to read. We just click okay. When you did that your rights, of freedom of expression, and protection just went bye-bye with that click.

I was reading, in news clips, the other day where in some test markets Google is putting up servers and all that will enable, terabytes and full optical fiber connected Internet. One town near me is Provo Utah. Great. No lag from point of upload to delivery. Meaning instant Internet, but I have a great idea, how about a better, free-er Internet first? How about Facebook, stomaching a consumer telling the truth? Or Yahoo, allowing a group to exist, even though its not their view?

That my friends is called building your own site, which we in the Knytes continue to do, yet haven’t yet found the visual eye candy for(yet). for.

Okay, Alma posted a notice to her and Ben’s friends, Ben was going to Nashville to punch holes in the glass floor of CMT to get the Dukes back on there. Great, but why CMT? Only because MTV owns the copyrights to the Dukes, since it was TNN that bought those rights in 1994 somewhere. Here’s the idea, the Knytes-of-Anarchy is busy working to acquire those rights, then migrate the Dukes from CMT to Confederate Star TV. Which amongst other things, is why its our privilege to stage the only western region of a DukesFest. Why not? After all the Knytes-of-Anarchy is more than a casual Dukes-of-Hazzard fan, we live those story lines, with us, The Dukes-of-Hazzard is not just a TV show its our way of life. Alma, Ben Sonny all know I speak the truth here. For nearly 2 decades the Knytes have carried the torch of Hazzard County. For us, Hazzard County is not just a place on earth , it’s a place in the heart and buried in your soul.

Better today

As you can tell, did not go to A1 today.

About 07:30 a pal of mine asked did I want to go flying today?

Does a bear crap? So he picked me up, out to TF Airport, did out prechecks, filed flight plan and all and we were to go airborne. Trouble is our normal route to our test range was not going to work, since some military friends were doing flight tests that way so it was go through what pilots here call the Devils Arm Pit, its hell getting in and smelly getting out.

So over the range we were.

Shot 90% out of 100, so not bad. Them paint bombs coming out of those 50 cal guns was a blast.

Had to make it short since gotta do afternoon radio duty today, but hey Got all day Saturday as Don my flying pal has us booked for a day of it for my birthday.

Still working to crew and celebs out here for DukesFest West/aka-Hazzard Nationals, next fall. Some are dragging their feet, some a bit gun shy , but enough arm twisting we’ll get em here.

What did I do today? Nothing much I took time off

So I took the day off. After the last 6 months or better of constant go, all the time building this radio thing, the stress of relocating here to Twin, loss of a shop, Lexi just sitting, I said, don’t care. Turned off the alarm clock, rolled over went back to sleep.

Todd calls , says he ain’t showing up, good, more sleep.

Woke up at 16:00 washed Wolf-PuP, cleaned house, made dinner, watched RFDTV, checked email’s twice and now I’m here. Getting ready to turn in to be ready to do chores at A1 in the morning.

Call it a early birthday preasent to myself, but hey, I needed a stress reliever. Considering I didn’t get home from the River Fellowship until 11:00PM, did my radio chores, until 05:00, by then the body said, no you ain’t even though the mind said yes I am, body won.

What do I see myself in 10 years? Echo Utah, running a small truck stop there at the cross roads of I-84 and I-80. Since the club already owns that property might as well. And considering no competition for toewing for an hour minimum in all directions, this will make a good spot to unplug.

What about the radio werx? Hope by then its already kicking ass , someone else in charge and me being able to say job well done, now its my turn to live. So let’s review, Drivers license renewed, truck warshed, ready for long sleep, and getting ready for the hard charge to victory in October.

My is Facebook fussy. Our new Facebook member , posted a thing of his 44. I replied that I’d like Mike to send me one like that out west here. Facebook said I couldn’t post that.

Radio without binders or blinders

Radio without binders or blinders is purtty much the way all radio is done here at Confederate Star Media, more over HazzardAyre Radio.

The way we are is without fear.

Used to be in these parts, most media owners here feared the repercussions of the Mormon church. If there was a song that spoke certain words or tended to have a spicy bit to it, or was a bit wyld , you’d be hard pressd to hear it on this areas radio.

Even TV was spooked about running such shows as Adam 12 or Emergency here, fearing some scene of busting some drug perp.

I remember one night I was purtty tuckered coming in to do my paid for by the club radio show on KMTW 96.5 here. Kelly Carlson the manager and owner now engineer of KCTF CH 45 here, was really tweaked, when I just played without a break, Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon, all the way through.

Thing was people loved what I did, and it opened up the door, that said good risky music COULD be played without protests. Shortly thereafter I caught the gig from midnight to 06:00 on KLIX, thing was CEO Charley Tuma thought I was less volatile at that hour.

So I started combining Rock A Billy with hard southern rock, and people loved it. My show was aimed at the over the road truckers pulling out there on I-84, just outside the station.

Then conglomerate Clear Channel bought KLIX and the rest of that was history.

But I was not finished. There had to be someone that kept the original ideas of performance radio alive here. So when all other media outlets both TV as well as radio shut us out, the club bought some used gear, and in 1974 KDSL FM 89.1 signed on the air. At first a pirate station for 5 months then we finally got our ticket and new call letters, KTOW yes we were the first to run those. Up until August 2012 when we sold em to a station in Colorado, KTOW lit the fuse of every high ballin gear splitter in Idaho.

In late 2012 KDOH (Dukes-of-Hazzard) AM 1090, became what KTOW was, but the FM needed bringing back up. As stereo isn’t yet a technology found on AM, not that it couldn’t be, as it was tried in the late 80’s, but there wasn’t a general acceptance on the broadcast standard so it kinda was kaput.

So with our move to becoming more aggressive on preservation of southern history and heritage along with southern education, KDXB was chosen and so goes it.

But there’s more, HazzardAyre started on KDOH, that said there was a need to get some more horsepower to the new show. So KDXB at FM 105.7 becomes the big gun in Idaho as the source for southern fried radio in the mountain west.

Across Idaho, you’ll hear HazzardAyre, from our sister station KDXC FM 93.3 Rigby Idaho.

More locals are being looked at but enough of us.

The idea is simply, give people both those like us who love Jesus and a few just plain old rebel rednecks the kind of radio that few dare.

Doing that means playing artists that are not on that Billboard computer driven hot 100. Like Emma Leigh, and a few others. Thing is this is progressive good wholesome music all can enjoy, without thinking is there something nasty in the lyrics.

This is HazzardAyre .

HazzardAyre is simply radio without binders or blinders.

Just who do you say we are?

In Mathew Jesus asked who do you say that I am? Funny the same question came to me this evening at a Aviators outreach meeting at the River here in Twin Falls.

Sponsored in part by HazzardAyre/WyldAyre, and that means the Knytes-of-Anarchy. A few asked just who we are? The question is answered easily enough, the Knytes-of-Anarchy are Sons of Anarchy only southern fried and all confederate. We are not only the rebels, which can be good, as it’s a needed thing to stir the waters , but also we are , in no direct relationship to my on air handle which was my call sign in flyte when I was flying in combat with the USMC, AyreWolf, the Knytes truly are the wolvez in amongst the sheep.

Then it came to the meeting.

Retaining the confidences we are bound to, as what’s said in our meeting is kept in the group and meeting, but I thank God above that I never have had these addictions, or problems. Compared to many in the group I lead a very blessed and gifted life and have had.

In reality , I never have had to want for anything, or excuse me maybe a can of Skoal near the end of the month before my military money comes in or between pay checks from Big C. But food, housing, and creature comforts never.

Oh sure, I thought I was trying to slice a big piece of fat of the pig, last September, to save paying rent on an apartment to pay bills that I owed, but I quickly got a place in Burley, then was blessed when Big C, took over foundation financial duties and I moved in here.

True there are challenges, but I’ve never took to drugs, or the bottle. I always put the problem in Gods hands to fix. Likewise unlike many who are in this gifted environment who are smug, stuck up and all, I try to reach out, give people not so blessed a hand up, just like Big C does me. Many times the hand is slapped, most times spit upon or ignored. But I always try to extend that hand, just as God wants me to.

That attitude is exactly the way the Knytes are, help where we can.

Do not ignore the obvious, do not say its someone else’s job or task, if it needs to be done do it.

Example, last November, moved here, needed on air help. Put ad on CL. few answered the call. The few that did, thought evil, hey the studio is in the house, my house, best not go in there, thought red rydinghood. Might get consumed by the big bad wolvez. Yet in reality, even if they had never made much money, they’d learn a few skills that while not everybody’s cup of java, at least could earn em a living. But how many shunned? All too many. So you get frustrated and say okay.

The old saying God and the Knytes can lead em to water but we can’t make em drink. I will not force a head in the bucket, drink or go thirsty I am not going to beg you.

We do many of our things through Christ Jesus, and although our exhibitions of female pictorials would contradict that, our view is , in some ways and times God above creates extra great looking ladies, why not show Gods work? What you will never find though unless I’m trying to make a point, is us doing porn or fully nudes. That is dirty, and things to be shared between a husband and a wife. Nor will you see me out hunting for someone just to sleep with, that too is for a joint union between a wife and her husband after marriage. The way I look at it, if God and the Knytes had meant me to have a wife at this point in my life, they’d issue me one.

That is who the Knytes-of-Anarchy is.

Facebook asks what I like, listen here I’ll tell you

I’m always amazed at that question.

After you scroll down on the ad list, and check off all the BS ads, it asks, Tell us what you like. Okay Facebook, fast women my age, that will without question, classic trucks especially old iron toew trucks, hot good southern cookin, southern heritage history.

Have anything to go with that Facebook? If not then don’t give me ads that are not always liked by the people on my friends list.

How does Facebook know what my Facebook friends like, did Facebook conduct a survey? If so, does Facebook give out money for endorsements by my friends? Bet they don’t. So Facebook, why lie about it?

Trust me one of the things we are working on here in the club, on our ultimate southern confederate based website, that’ll have streaming versions of HazzardAyre on it, is a Southern Fried style Facebook, where us confederates can gather and swap stories, southern food recipes and so on. We were going to just run it as a man cave site, the Ladies of The Knytes, our wives and girlfriends half of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, said there ought to be a part of the site for the southern belles of the club so that is what it is.

But can it be made better, ya’ll bet it can.

Okay need to bust a move and shift a gear here.

The resurgence of the Internet radio gig, in fact the idea of going back into a full stage station was re-energized in 2002, when living in the metro area of Layton Utah. A few pals of mine who are part of the Utah half of the AyreWolvez and I were tinkering on doing stuff to be aired on AFRN. Looking for FCC call letters, found a streaming station, called WolfFM, (www.wolffm.com) amongst the offerings there was a thing called Howlin Oldies. Playing the history of rock and soul. But here’s the kicker, WolfFM, was created and maintained, by a guy named Steve Wolf, from a third floor apartment in Nashville , that is blind and in a wheelchair. Pretty good inspiration, don’t ya’ll think? Hey if he could do it why couldn’t we? So we set out and created AyreWolfFM. Of course the southern roots began to show, Hazzard County was calling so we worked to create something that combined the two concepts, AyreWolf Radio for those into vintage warbirds, and of course the Dukes as well as Southern Heritage. While Dixie Diesel Radio has been going strong in syndication, and our toew truckers show Highway Hooker Radio was kicking butt on our small station in Montpelier, Idaho. (named after Brigham Young’s birth town, Montpelier Vermont), we really had no intention of bring anything back to western Idaho. The same stuck up, arrogant and ignorant attitudes we are running into here now were here then, so why bother. The reason I came west here is history ya’ll already know, and why not? The birth place of the Knytes is Hazzard(aka Hagerman) Idaho, 40 miles northwest of Twin Falls, so here we are.

We after many boo-boo’s, stubbing our shins and all brought it together in Buhl in 2010. Finally a place to build an HQ for the club and studio for what is KDOH, AM 1090, and in November 2013, KDXB FM 105.7 .

HazzardAyre came together from a midnight jolt out of bed. I saw the vision of the name in a dream, and the steam has been building ever since.

Now on the spelling of the word toew. Its an amalgamation of the words TOW and TOE, that an intern I had that did a sex advice program on KDOH called Southern Comfort , said why not just put the words together. Emme Lee, is now is in the Hawaii, furthering her education.  But that’s the long story of that made short, so in my final here.

Facebook want to know what I like, fast women, hot trucks and fast food.

Before I head out into the cold 46 degree night for the 15 mile run home thought I’d drop this in your ear.

Went up to the store to fetch some soda to take my Goody’s powder>>> with.

So I’m sitting in the truck and took out three pouches and was swallowing em, when this fat Smokey walks up, and asks what I was doing? I told him, but the idiot thought I was taking cocaine, I told him, I swallow this, don’t know about snorting it, but said I’d not want to be the one starting that custom.

Okay then: So was working on some graphics for the company, that is Southern Eagle XPRESS, when one of my guys said, ya’ll know what that spells sex. I said really? I never thought of that, that way.  Southern Eagle has been moving livestock, and LTL freight here for nearly 65 years, my dad started the company in 1951 with his 4 brothers. But all these years, I never thought of it quite that way.

Watch for details on the Miss Southern Eagle/Dixie Diesel>> project in a few months.

But after that with my Goody’ I thought ya’ll would get a kick out of it, thinking Goody’s is cocaine , really? Talk about ignorant Yankees, these folks make our Appy Americans look like college graduates.
