A new kinda super hero, in a tow truck?

hazzardayre overknyte

So I come in from watching the idiots out on the town driving as if they turn off brain when turning on the ignition, and I get this phone call. Now can’t say who, but the call goes that a producer and writer, wants to take one of the old trade names I ran under years ago, and turn it into not only a comic book series, but a major film and even pitch it to a few TV execs.

The core of the thing is a private detective by day, tow trucker by night, with powers. The powers come from getting zapped by some cosmic thing, from outer space. The name of the series? Ah not going to tell you, but the initials are SW and only those who know me really well will know what those initials stand for.

Was I excited? Hell yes. So much so I was compelled to sit down and let ya’ll know. Guess they’re coming up here next week for a pow wow. But this could be really groovy.

None of the candidates for the SheWolvez called. Guess they really were just kicking tires. In Marine terms they were just JAFO’s , (Just Another F—king Observer) with no real serious intent. Glad I didn’t book a camera crew and all ain’t you? So I crossed the one out of my contacts, defriended the other off of Facebook, and chalk it up to head up the ass Idaho ignorance. So we move on. Oh sorry its not all of Idaho, just Tweaker Flatts and immediate area that is the Tragic Valley. Hope these people can find suitable employment in the housekeeping and food service industries like McDonalds.

Just think girls if you were on board here, they might even cast you in the movie I was just talkin about, but oh well your loss.

Any mile need to catch zz’s need to be airborne at 11;00 hours so catch ya’ll in and on the air.

Once again no could do the radio show overnight sorry

new blog coveraw phootenotes

Once again download just over 1.02mps, upload, just over .08mps, meaning no radio show. Means also loss of to date $3,000.00 .

The new name for the company called SpeedConnect should be, at least from my point of vision, Sometimes connect at night. Oh the bugger is great as can be just right under 8.mps and upload of at least 3mps, during the day especially in the mid morning hours of 09:00 to 11:00 hours, but at night, the signal fades, and speed reduces. Thought maybe it’s the smoke and the fires raging between Twin falls and Idaho Falls where the final link gets connected.

What I can’t figure since nothing really changed here, is why in March when I signed up with SpeedConnect, the system was near bullet proof. Hell I had better than most connections in Twin Falls, but somewhere in the middle of July, something went sour, and well I can see a hiccup once in awhile, since many things effect wireless internet, but since the middle of July, 3 visits from their techs, swapped in and out 2 modems, and its still dragging, I think somebody needs to climb a tower and do some detective work.

Currently working with Megapath, on a T1 and another that is a firm peddling CenturyLink, who I despise, and A.T.&.T. that cost me even more money and headaches back in 2009 through their Cell service. But if nothing else, going to put tail between my legs and whimper into Cable-One come October 1st. by then our bill with them will be paid, and since I have cable in for TV might as well use it as Internet as well.

Now if your thinking that SpeedConnect is bad all over don’t. Their people are top drawer all the way. The signal is fine for simple domestic family internet that does not require streaming both in download as well as upload like our radio station does. More over most people are not constantly online, but in our world, the main studio is in Buhl. 15 miles away from Twin Falls. Since the FCC will not let me even if I could clear obstructions, will not let me put up a mini tower and aim to Buhl and do a studio transmitter link aka an STL, from here to Buhl. Our FCC license only allows for one STL and that’s from Buhl to the big Transmitter out on Bell Rapids, another 15 mile as straight as eye sight from Buhl.

The main studio is still going under the hammer and wrench the winter last year created multiple problems, from flooring to broken pipes. Its taking a bunch of money, and with us going for a newer license that cost $6,000.00 just to apply, there is very little money still left in the bucket, for $2,000.00 Internet connections. The best we can go is $500.00 and even that’s stretching it. Considering myself wont be here after April, and the main studio is on its own, meaning whatever goes in here, in Twin Falls now, will get moved to Buhl then. But finding a quality provider is a major chore. Keep you posted.

Any way, heading up to the fire lines in the morning, with our Wolf-Pack of AyreWolf Aviation, seems they need our byrds both rotor and winged to suppress some of these wyld fyres.

See ya’ll tomorrow night.

Waltzing Matilda so you thought things were fine in Idaho?

new blog coveraw phootenotes

First off here tonight, that gal from one of our home ports Heyburn didn’t call, or anything. Thought is, and I could be wrong, but think she’s going to be one of those teasing tire kickers, Says they are interested , but when pushed really ain’t. Oh well McDonalds and Loves Truck Stop always needs new employees. One of the things I’m looking forward to in Utah, is the fact that getting models for a photo shoot is as nearly easy as ordering up a pizza from Pizza Hut, you call, tell em who and what you need, they send a few candidates, you pick one do the shoot, pay the agency, its done. No CraigsList or classifieds needed. Just wish this Alaine would call with the right instruction she could be one helluva talent, but hey I ain’t sweating it any more. Nor fretting my time in go no where Idaho is short.

Which might be good.

Heard tell that if your one of the many in Idaho that are enrolled in mental health care in our state, because of military service etc and require a PSR, the reformed new overseer of Idaho’s Medicaid system says they will no longer pay for PSR services, unless directed by a real Mental Health professional, meaning a DOCTOR, no more recommendations by CSW, LSW’s etc.  No sweat off my balls, don’t need one, but for those that do, how are YOU going to pay for it? Hey ya’ll voted for Governor Otter, now then ya’ll should have paid more attention to Jana Kemp huh?

Also that other candidate for the warbird pin up gal, Gabriella also ain’t called or gotten in touch, guess I was just getting played with, again time is short for all concerned in Idaho.

See ya’ll overnight.

Some Historical information you might not have known

aw new knyte flyteWOLFNOTES 2

It used to be I’d have to get up at least 4 times a nyte to pee, now its get up 4 times a nyte to test my damn blood sugar level. While I’m just about where I’ve always been with this sugar level thing, the medical community of southwestern Idaho, is damn well determined to rake out more money from the VA to keep me in their talons to help me treat this affliction. Affliction my tail rotor. I’m not saying their like a diaper , half full of crap and always on my six, (six in military terms is butt) so it’s a requirement.

Tried to scare up a conversation with one of our applicants for the SheWolvez, but guess she had the younger crowd and her bf to chat with so oh well. The real test, is the toes in hose against my nose. We see if she buckles or steps on up. It would be great to finally have tiny toes in hose to incorporate into my graphics. It astounds me that when I do a Google search for that kind of thing , that all you see is a few shots of well cared for toes in hose, and the rest of the damn page of gals and guys getting off. Can’t somebody just shoot the thing and keep it clean? Is in fact a woman in nylons just to get us guys a thrill?

Then came the great city of Twin Falls, attempting to repair some kind of water line or something, here they are not more that 7 blocks away from the Lair here, with a gall dang jack hammer. At 02:00 hours(2:00 AM for you none military folks out there). So I got up and thought I’d roll some historical information to you that you may not know.

At least about the club.

If the truth be known the AyreWolvez is not a subsidiary of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, rather the Knytes-of-Anarchy is a sibling subsidiary of the Ayrewolvez, meaning the AyreWolvez was the first group to be resurrected out of the crush of the club in 2004. At the time there were few real main steadies of the club. The real addiction to flying and all that is wrapped up with that happened about 6 months before I left this idiotic valley of Idaho in 2002. I had just discovered the great warbird collection at Airpower Unlimited in Jerome, and when I discovered how much money John was making rebuilding and restoring warbirds against what I was making rebuilding hot rods and classic trucks, I thought son your in the wrong business. So I got together with a few of the still area members of the Hazzard Knytes as we were then, discussed the concept of creating a new sibling of the Knytes involving vintage military aircraft. A overwhelming 110% of those involved said yes, especially Marine and Navy aviators that were both active reserve and retired around the area, and so we called our group after the legendary combat squadron the BlackSheep Flyte Club. Revised over time to finally arriving at the AyreWolvez, in essence the wolves in amongst the sheep as it were.

I was involved with a honey at the time and a friend her and I went up to Blackfoot to Rupe’s Burgers a continuing supporter of the entire club for a meeting. At that meeting it was decided that instead of the Hazzard Knytes being the mother club, or parent organization that the AyreWolvez would be the parent organization and preside over the Hazzard Knytes now known as the Knytes-of-Anarchy.

Flying or the attraction to anything with wings has always been a passion of mine from even as far back as age 6. Dad was after all NORMS Director at HAFB, as well as being involved in OSI/NSA duties. We were always out at the base. As such much of the time while Dad conducted business , I spent time in the hangars. When a few Airmen had to do test hops on repairs, I’d get to go along. Lets not go into the time I took a joy ride at age 7 in a T-39, okay. But even with that one of the Staff Chiefs there said that I had natural talent and not to discourage me. All I ever wanted to do was fly and be around aircraft both vertical as well as winged. However once we moved from Utah to Idaho, even with the history of aviation being what it is in Idaho, there were no junior eagles or any other similar programs as there was in Utah. And try as I might then could not ignite the idea here. So I did most of my flying in 4 wheels in hot rods. That being that, in late 2003 early 2004, with only $200,000.00 in the kitty of the Montgomery Foundation still liquid in the bank, my cousin Bud, with my third cousin Gordon and I met at the Denny’s in Woods Cross, and mid year 2005, what is AyreWolf Aviation was born. Most of you know the rest of the story from that point on. The thing to take note of, is , at one point, sitting there at the flight line at Bountiful SkyPark, by our hangar there, I was ready to completely give up going toewing, and just fly. But then got together with that floosy Tammy who lead me from Wyoming back here to Idaho, and well had to toew when I could not fly, and had to fly when I could not toew. As it is with this diabetes I’m 8 months out from being able to get back in the air like I need to be, so Gordon’ brother also my third cousin, Randy is going to do the flying, but me? I’m going to be twisting the wrenches and doing the day to day business dealings. The target has been set the goal posted, spend the next 8 months, getting this radio gig completed, shooting video for the club with hopefully some if not all the new model talent, get my FAA waiver with my diabetes, go through retraining with Upper Limit Aviation in SLC, and by this time next year or so, be on my way back to Utah full time. This time once gone, I’m not coming back, Twin Falls and the immediate area to me is as gone and dead as the super house Mom & Dad and I built, just outside of Hagerman. Too many people have poisoned this area for me that I have no more affection for it.

Any mile that’s the historical information you might did not know but now do.

I’m going back to bed.

What goes online, comes off even faster

new blog coverhazzardayre overknyte

Okay so got a inbox message in the Knytes email addy, with some gal as I reported earlier , from Heyburn. Groovy, hope she applies, hope she’s someone that’s as serious about it as we are, and hope she does it soon, would be great to have at least one reel of tape shot before it snows. If she works out as a pin up, we could graduate her into doing the TV ads and such so we see what hammers.

I get so many from so many tire kickers that its not funny. They email me, want more information, what more damn information do you need? One asked what else do we need from her, duh? How about a phone number and best time to call to book an interview?

So then I take time, go out to the mall at a better than the dark of night hours I used to do em, sit down in the food court devour my BLT and do the interview, oh if they want something I buy it. I ain’t that kind of wolf. Any mile, so then I’ll go over the project, tell em what they’ll be wearing and all, Get em in stockings, and clothes of the roaring 20’s when these old warbirds were popular, marinesdreamnot nude, but not fully clad either, a tasteful blend of sexy without being trashy. Of course as a club we want to add some class so the plan is to have more gowns and era style threads. But first we need gals that will take the project serious enough , plus, at $100.00 an hour they damn well better take it serious, and that’s just their wages, if you add in the time of a camera crew at $275.00 an hour and their expenses. If we book a photo shoot, and the gal don’t show, I get really pissed. And with AirPower Unlimited over at the Jerome Airport there are warbirds ready to shoot with along with the clubs. But doing that in the heart of the deep freeze of winter does not work out well.

Okay then, tried to go on air last night, again SpeedConnect was not connecting fast enough . the best download was only at just over 1.25mps, the upload was just at .088mps, but seems as I said good by day not by night. So the plan of a change is coming somewhere in late October or early November.

This, the models and all, really are making SLC , a real bright shining light, a helluva lot more bright than what Twinky Flatts has to deliver, so hope Alaine and Gabriella are serious. Haven’t heard from Gabriella yet. Maybe she’s a bot.

Noticed some of my other blogs and such from years gone by that I worked on in Utah are now faded. Seems as if you don’t keep the names up or line Google’s pocket with an ad or two, your forgotten, hopefully with one of these gals that have pledged to being one of the AyreWolvez, SheWolvez, that ad problem will be cured. Hope one has tiny toes.

More on that next time.

Headed for bed.

Oh forgot, one of my rituals is sitting on the tail of LiL Wolf, at night when I’m having my chew for the evening. Most of Twin Falls’ cops don’t say anything a few even wave back, but I watch the public, and its darn near as entertaining as cable TV, hearing green horn truckers trying to shift gears at the stop light and all, or when one is pushing it a bit to beat the lights and it changes. Those brakes just smoke. It’s funny.

Any mile, L8R Aviators, this old Wolf with wings is tyred.

Keep It Wings Level,

Still plugged up and 6 still beats 7 in more ways than the other.

sundown turnaround

As the day turns into night and as the whisper of a whopperwhill comes from the trees, the condition that I’ve been battling all day of a very serious plumbing back up, is now complete and all flowing normally. There’s also the plugged up condition of historical thought.

Example, got a inquiry from a sweet looking gal from our old homestead of Heyburn. Great, question is, where was she when we were there a year and a half ago. Heck we’d already have the thing shot, cover page made and online on our own website. Will further this, as I instructed her that she should give me a jingle set a time at the Mall and have a interview/pow-wow. Again when we had more of a facility, I was there and all, where was she? Is it that we are in Twin Falls as well as SLC that is getting some interest?

Okay then, on streaming news. Did a comparison. Clicked on KPVI’s news from Pocatello, and KTVB’s from Boise.

KPVI’s loaded easier and had no problems staying operational. KTVB’s was okay after nearly half way through the newscast. But dig this, that sweet little blonde on KPVI makes greater eye candy and makes one want to watch more. KTVB’s? Still the same people, still stale. And takes longer to load the page. Further evaluation needs to be done to make a definitive victory call here, but I’ll go with KPVI out of Pocatello as being the best streaming newscast. Just wish Doug at KPVI would give the temps for Twin Falls and Burley. KMVT by the way does not have a FREE streaming newscast. Go figure. KMVT is all about greed and green, not serving the community.

Salt Lake City’s? No call yet but will investigate further. The op calls for a split unit, 30% for an HQ in American Falls 30 miles west of Pocatello, for both the Knytes and AyreWolvez and 60% in Utah with the other 10% of an HQ office in Evanston Wyoming.

Evaluated signal quality today from our Malta transmitter relay station. Seems we can run our radio network via an STL with only one hop from SLC to Malta that would then rebroadcast our signal to areas of South central Idaho, and to east to American Falls, where our station would then boost that signal to Eastern Idaho.

Also took note that our channels in Wendover Utah will make it to southern Idaho from there with an STL from SLC to Wendover, meaning we don’t need to even be any longer in the Tragic Valley of Idaho, that has lost all but a slight sliver of silver to me and the Knytes.

Now I’m not going to say that Utah or the metro area of SLC is grander than Heaven. Or just as grand, Utah has its troubles too. Higher than needed taxation and regulation especially in the area of running a tow truck. The difference is simply, you can albeit a drawn out situation, but you can at least reap some of what you sow, you can really make your money back in 4 years or thereabouts. More over if you want a honey for a TV ad, with two pages of the Yellow Pages for modeling/talent agencies its as simple as calling one up telling them what ya’ll need, they send somebody over and its bada bing bada boom, done. Here in the Tragic Valley of Twin falls, its put things up on CraigsList, hope at least 8 out of 10 inquiries are serious and at least 1 out of that 10 really shows up to do the job. Our Web site has been hindered by no talent shows and other creative handicaps, that what should have been running as recently as 2009 is still in construction. Are there of age able gals in the valley to do this work, most likely, but getting gals to show up to work with us both the Knytes and or AyreWolvez, as we say bikers with wings, is a Goody’s >Goodys1< headache powder moment. I don’t mind the interviews, or taking time out to do the foot work for these projects. The reason my sweet LexiBelle>Lexi in green still needs work and I have missed two towing seasons that could have made me right at $15,000.00 , is because my financial resources go for lunches and travel to interview people who are no more serious about being a model or pin up girl for the club, than me getting home made corn bread.

Any way, my day is over, its kick back relax, so I can get to bed at a decent time to go over to A1 and put in some time, oh and about that? That’ll be in an upcoming HazzardAyre News article. As far as HazzardAyre Radio? Still going network and satellite, but the club today formally put the two signals from Buhl, on the market for Sale, give someone else the headache of finding local talent that wont show up.

AWAVIAASSNLOGO knytes end

I like Mondays.

new blog coverHK PHOOTENOTES

I like Monday’s its one of the few days of the week that I get to rest after chasing every one else who is supposed to be resting are out getting drunk or driving like they are in a bad scene from the Fast and Furious. Such is the life of a toew truck owner operator.

My company is small, so can’t really afford many employees. In fact we did something years ago that kept us out of the multi platform, employer/employee thing. I’ll let you in on that elsewhere just look for our private blog and you’ll learn.

I relate this to you today, as several things are weighing in on me at the same time. Two of which will render some good happenings and subdue some of the trash that has been like a ball and chain on the ankles of the Knytes-of-Anarchy as well as HazzardAyre/WyldAyre.

Over the weekend I did some fast post relocate searches and found that while not all but in certain places immediately in the throws of SLC there are places to live that are priced right at or just a bit under what I’m paying for here in Twin Falls. Likewise I have been in talks with Tommy and Tony Pistone of Tony’s Towing of Murray Utah, about forming an operation in or near Echo Utah.

I also looked at places for the radio gig, and found several in SLC and immediate area that not only cost less but have other amenities that will benefit the club.

Now before a bunch of you out there start calling me and talking to me about being loyal to Idaho, mainly Hagerman as well as things Hazzard.

Dig this; Since 1978 I have been as loyal and dedicated to things Hazzard and Dukes as any one many and fan could be. I have gave more money and time talking, visiting and petitioning TV stations, networks and others to air the syndicated versions of DOH, I was there at the formation of a look see committee to put together two big screen films on the Dukes, I own one of the few copies of MoonRunners the pilot movie to the Dukes, but outside of two times once by phone and once in SLC , I have yet to get a phone call from Ben, or Alma, I have yet to get a letter with even a $100.00 to support the club, based on DOH, and the list goes on.

This past weekend in route from an MC rally, we as a club met for all that was not there. We had to vote out and terminate one of the founding members. For inactivity. This hurt, but was needed. Rickey just has not stepped up, backed us up, nor even hardly came around even though I live a few blocks away.

The fact that I no longer have MY and the clubs General Lee, might be part of it. It was bad to leave the old General behind a few years ago, but I had little choice. I didn’t hear many of the so called higher ups like Ben, Alma, John etc saying here’s some money bail our beloved Military friend out of jail. Nope never heard nor seen anything. The fact that I was in the Marines serving this goofy nation , meant I was powerless to do anything. The fact that Custom towing out of Pocatello would not release the General, even though Cousin Bud was willing to pay for it, didn’t help either. Whether its true or not that he was crushed I don’t know. How one can swindle someone out of a ride, even though I still hold the title, is beyond me. Could I have sued? Yes, but I was in parts near Iraq, what am I to do? I have not seen any club member then or even now saying here’s a General to replace the one you lost. Course substituting the one I lost and the club lost would be very difficult, since ours was one from the show, two was rebuilt with more muscle than any you’ll find.

But getting another impossible.

Which brings me to this. The people who work and write namely Kurt Sutter and his wife have been nothing short of very supportive, since we revamped the club from the Hazzard County Knytes to the Knytes-of-Anarchy, more over the reason we did that despite the warmed over groovy feelings a year ago when Warner Brothers under pressure was taking our rebel flag off the General, I’ll be damn it was the Knytes who went to battle, to the point of an up front in person meeting with WB to fix that problem. Did any body say thanks ? NO !!! But I regress. In October 2008 in a act of revision and review, while grounded strictly by weather in Glenn’s Ferry Idaho, with nothing on TV, except DirecTV and FX, after it was determined that overall, the DOH thing had ran out of gas , at least as our club was concerned again 8 of us met in my house there in Glenn’s Ferry, and decided to reach back into our roots before things Hazzard, to when we were a branch charter of the United American Independent Truckers Association, and do for custom big rig truck enthusiasts and all what SOA has done for the biker community. So on TV came up we did some mind grind and decided that truckers are bikers just that we have more wheels and steel. So retaining our history of things Hazzard intact, the Knytes of Anarchy TC(Truck Club) was born.

Two years later of course HazzardAyre Radio was born. We kept only two spin off’s of the club, the AyreWolvez and Deere Dazzlerz. The rest we scrubbed.

It’s not that I don’t love things Hazzard I do, but for the club to survive we need to move on. Which brings me back around to the relocate gig.

It’s been decided that come April 2014, I will relocate down to parts of Utah. That the Knytes HQ will be established there in where the AyreWolvez HQ is already. Tommy , Tony and I will reform my Utah company there in and near to Morgan/Echo. While I do my part in running my company AyreWolf Aviation, there out of Bountiful SkyPark.

Any mile need to get myself put together here for tonight's radio show, see ya’ll then.

Good Numbers to ya’ll
