No work or just picky?

No work or just picky? I garnered from NPR last night on HazzardAyre Radio, that there are people at fast food joints wanting a pay raise to $15.00. Really, there goes the nearly none existent dollar menu. The real complaint? No well living wage jobs. Really?

Sitting here in Twin Falls here we have a set of jobs, in the starting wage spot of $20.00 an hour sitting on one butt pushing buttons and yapping on radio. While mostly hiring women as that’s the most difficult, to recruit, why recruit. From the pissing and moaning of many with low wage jobs, if they’re willing to nuke burgers at McDonalds, hey they do not cook on a grill to perfection well done at McDonalds nor Burger King, its nuked. But doing that at $15.00 an hour as they want, and yet we’ve been sitting for what 2 years now with on air jobs here at HazzardAyre and we can’t get anybody? Its not that there is no work, its that all too many have so many support programs taking care of their basic needs the notion of upgrading themselves is beyond comprehension.

If Uncle Sam said, hey here’s the deal, we’ll feed you, give you limited funds for housing and not put a cap on anything you mAke in a job, bet you a tank of go fluid that these picky bastards would give up sitting on their butts and get to work.

Of course there’s the intelligence level. Few people have their elevators going to the top floor, even fewer even getting off the starting line.

I had to really explain things step by step to this little filly from NPR, on a connection issue. Damn lets get these idiots educated.

But the excuse that there are no good paying jobs is just that an excuse to sit on your butts. My Mom said it best, if you want to get on your feet, get off your butt.

Going where its unsafe

When I read about or occassionally happen to tune into the morning broadcasts from the River on Sunday mornings , and hear all the lovely things, I think, what about the not so lovely? What about those that are very rough around the edges?
Let me give you an example.
There's a very old man who walks by my house every day. He's got to be around 68 maybe 75 years old. So thin his bones are nearly tearing through his skin. He wears the same threads every day, and his only request is, for a few cents a day for a cup of coffee. Well instead of just coffee money which I give him, I also give this old man a bite to eat, and while he is eating I read from Gods word. 
Now there are those from the River Fellowship that would never go around or near this old man. If they didn't shun him, they'd seldom give any real love to this old guy. Why do I do it? Simple, Jesus never just held to those that were already saved or that just were so called safe. I've seen serpents in suits and ties, even some women who dress up all nice, driving fancy black suv's , who just play it safe. Naw Jesus meant for us to reach out to those who are in real need and extend his love through us to those that are not so saved. 
It's like my dear friend and bean counter Charles. 
At first glance Charles has everything one could hope to have, successful business, great family, great house, plenty of money the works, I remind him , that it can be gone in a flash. One mistake, one health problem, even a death in the family, and your collecting benefits from the state and getting SSI and VA benefits. 
That's my situation. Sure I bust ass for the club every day, sure I use their funds, although I have to account for every penny, but at the end of the day, I still look at these near bare walls, all alone. Just like that old man does. 
I once had the gift of wealth. In fact wealth far exceeding even that of Charles. The biggest if not one of the biggest homes in the valley, on one of the choicest parcels of land in this area. All the trappings of a millionayre. Car, truck, business. Mom & Dad and I. Then Dad died, then mom, and if it hadn't been for the club, I'd have went nuts. That's a story for another time, but thankfully the club, kept a hand hold to me. Even on my three combat tours in the Marines. The club kept in touch. Just as Jesus did, I reach out to those needing saved and taught Gods word, and shown Gods love, through me, not just those already saved and content. 
Just like my friend and distant club sister Nancy. After the deal with the Durango, and since, can't and haven't seen her once. Same goes with any of the River. Is that a way for those who claim to be one of God's people? Of course they are, thing is. God didn't just hang with those already in his group. He reached out to those that hadn't yet discovered God, and even those who had , that were none active. 
In God's eyes, we are to forgive, and go out of our way to be with those, who might smell so bad it makes the hairs on your arms curl, but to offer one of those a bath and a meal, while you teach Gods word, is what doing Gods work is all about.
Sometimes, you need to get out of that comfort zone, go talk to our riding brothers and sisters, go out and work with those truly in need, and even go out and talking to those who have shunned us, or those we have shunned and saying, " I forgive you, God and I love you, sharing a soda, and giving of ourselves. " Just like it was for me and as I remind both Jared and Charles' bunch, it can all be gone in a flash. Just like my mini empire that I'm working to rebuild. After Mom & Dad died, little by little it got chipped away, before long it was gone. I moved to Boise after being conned out of my place near Hazzard, lost my General Lee, all while I'm in the Marines. I get back to discover it all gone. What I was left with is two tired older trucks, a few clothes, but what they couldn't take away was the love of the club and God, through which through both, I'm rebuilding,. Despite the resistance of some others, like that Christy, and all. Another example, that Pastor Bacon, said on several occasions, that he wanted to have lunch one day. Guess that was an empty promise. Not for me to deal with. That's God's call but if one is of an authority of God, should he not , try to reach out , drive over here to the Lair and say lets go have a cup? God didn't mean for us not to have trials, or to just play or be with those saved or where its SAFE, God did mean for us to reach out from our happy place and go where its unsafe, perhaps the soul you really save is not the poor old man's, but yours as well.

The Day is Over at least for many, but

The day is finally over for most people.

They go home, take off their threads, eat dinner, go shit, then have a quick romp in the sack, that is if their married or involved with a female. If not, it’s the KY oil, and stroke that shaft. Then its TV, for a few hours, watch the repeat news show, that they missed at 18:00(6:00PM) as most news runs on TV are repeats, nobody or few report anything new at 22:00(10:00PM) .

Before I get into it here, understand, I have hammered on many news and TV organizations here in Idaho for a long time. Not to be mean, but to say, hey I know you can do better. Thing is maybe they can’t. Lets face it media talent in any form in our fair state of Idaho, is few and far between. If they are good, they work here for a year or two then are history. Even prehistoric KMVT here, had one helluva gal on their news staff. Her name was Michelle Darcy. She had a delivery style and professionalism, that has been unmatched by any I have seen in both the local, Idaho or even Utah market. Despite the fact that Michelle was easy on the eyes which didn’t hurt, she had a hunch for stories, went after the truth and reported the facts, no matter whose toes got stepped on. Heck she even interviewed the club’s prezz at the time. KMVT didn’t like it, but at least she reported it.

But alas she became history. From what I understand was because of both a wage increase disagreement and some royalties as well as a blow out with Jack Martin the decrepit news director at KMVT.

Okay then, the rest of the news outfits in Idaho, are trying very hard, but at least one in eastern Idaho, still understands that not everybody walking on the grounds of this state have IPODS, or some viewer app, to add to their Android.  KMVT did do FREE streaming of their newscast but greed amongst other things screwed that. KTVB doesn’t stream their newscasts, but KPVI in Pocatello, still has a free stream, so you can at least watch the local news. Even if you aren’t wired to cable or have some device that costs you to watch.

Free OTA TV, by and large has gone the way of cruise nights at the drive in A&W , something to remember but never to be experienced again.

But the fact as long as the FCC still issues licenses, and even with the new move by a few progressive stations reclaiming spectrum after the digital TV debacle, you should still be able to free stream your local news. I’m not talking the shows, Those you can get free on your computer, from the networks, even those strapped due to the ongoing battle between Time Warner Cable and CBS, you still can log onto CBS’ website and watch your favorite shows a day after they run, no biggy. What you can’t get is what’s going on in your home town or at least your state. At least KPVI understands that, and still offers a free stream. Maybe KMVT and KTVB needs to re-examine that idea and put it back up.

For the rest of the public they go home after 5:00PM(17:00), their day is over. For us in media the day is not done until about midnight, when most go home. Unless they are like me. I still am up to my eye balls editing, writing and getting ready to do a show overnight, but what else would you expect from the award winning HazzardAyre?

Must be my kountry southern roots coming to the surface, or something, but even though we are in a so called World economy, I say , tell the rest of the world to FO.

If our nation even as stupid as it is, would tell the world to FO, and no more of very few imports, which would make it to where our nation would have to make its own TV's, cars, trucks etc. Or do without, our nation would make its own, including oil. Sure there are the damn tree huggers out there, that say bringing oil through a pipe from Alaska through Canada, is environmentally unsound, I say, park that damn Prius, drive a FORD, Chevy, or Mopar. 

Stop letting everybody who wants to move to this nation, have to read , write, and drive American . 

Saw this invite, on Facebook about a new social site, and ya'll know how I feel now about social sites. Social sites have gotten so stale, and thinking they are all powerful, to the point there is no more sense on them. Try to explain to the who evers in Palo Alto, or Mountain View California, that someone stole YOUR email address or one of them to set up a fake account on Facebook. The bastards will not listen. Shy of flying then driving or maybe I could fly there and land in the parking lot of Facebooks HQ , and go in and say, look you little butt head, this ain't me, someone stole my alternate email account and is using it on your site. Nope can't do that, but I get the crap from that person on MY email account. Facebook has some really talented people on their payroll, but too, most of em could not blow their nose even with dynomite. They are just plain stupid little college kids with no sense of intelligence. Our nation is undergoing a dramatic change and evolution. The schools both from budget reductions to teachers that flat do not know how to teach, to so called Government leaders to set on lining their own pockets rather than that of serving the people who elected them, our whole nation is about to launch into a new civil war. People who are ignoring this are just hiding their eyes.

Their heads are in the sand, and its too bad. They think things will just magically heal themselves. It don't matter if Obama, Clinton, or anyone else is in the big house, its not just the damn President, you have crooks on both sides of the isle as well as in both houses of congress that haven't a clue. There is hope however, but getting people to go there and listen is like telling a homeless person here's food, but they refuse to eat. 

That hope lies at www.dixiebroadcasting.com the speeches and lectures there will open the eyes of many. We here at HazzardAyre try to share that with you daily, we are telling you, beyond the wonders of the Dukes-of-Hazzard, that there is a great political party out there called the Confederate National Party, not just representing the Confederate States of America, but all of America. There is another great organization out there aside the Knytes-of-Anarchy, called Sons of Confederate Veterans, who holds Coffee camps, to educate all, I repeat ALL AMERICANS, to what is right out there. It is in the hands of the Confederate southern people and its make up that everything in America can be corrected, but getting people there to see it, hear it, and apply it, reminds me so much of those who walked with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. His peaople walked many miles over harsh conditions to educate people. Many saw the light, but all too many didn't, just like now.

Look , I'm not statesman, I ain't no preacher , I'm a simple kountry, shadetree aircraft-motorcycle mechanic, retired Marine, with a High school diploma. That knows how to do radio and some TV things. I'm not computer educated, I'm home school, farm educated. But I know what's right. I know what's out there and how to fix things if I can through our club get people to see it. 

I got this invite from some new social network platform. Thing is when I clicked on it, it of course didn't work. The invite came from a click through Facebook ad. The Facebook page was in some sort of Latin language. Okay let those frrom Brazil or where ever do their thing in THEIR nation. 

It's time to pull up the Welcome Mat, turn of the vacancy light and say no more influence and coming to America.

Told ya

So got my money from the GodFather today, went out, paid bills, and as predicted, my Internet speed increases. Really? It takes paying the bill to give me the 8 mps that I'm paying for, rather than the near 4 that I have been running for the last two and a half weeks. 

A broker calls says he can find what I'm looking for in the 100mps bracket, but the cost is near $900.00 a month, question is can we get somewhere in the middle.

Internet speed and bandwidth is prime, considering where HazzardAyre Radio is headed and the requirements that'll be needed to provide the ultimate listening and viewing experience through YOUR computer and mobile platform, be it IPOD or others. A dedicated line is going to be needed and so we are busting hump.

Now as I related early this morning, an Angel investor has pledged upwards of just under 5 million green stamps to help launch the next version of all things media for the club, including HazzardAyre Radio and Confederate Steele TV. This means we are going to be able to do what's needed, but remember too, its not me, nor does that money come out of my pocket, I still only get my SSI and military retirement pay. The club gets the 5, mill. But if things go sour its my neck that gets cut off.

Okay, as I put forth yesterday and through night time, I went in and flushed out a bunch of so called Facebook, so called friends. My thoughts are very simple, if you ask to be part of or included in one of those pages I am administer of, or want me to be your friend, the third time you ignore me, and don't even say hello, when I ping you, your gone as a pages member or Facebook friend. The bottom end if your not a Knyte, or part of the Wolf-Pack, or a supporter sponsor, of either club, your inclusion is not requested nor wanted. Let the other hardly dry behind the ears college mid 30 something or younger geek mess with you. The way I look at it this way; mid month last month, I got word from the Doctor that I have type 2 diabetes, meaning another few years have been hacked off my life. This club of ours is my life,. I'm in it to win for the club, I don't have time to mess around. Thus, we are not McDonalds or Burger King, you get the damn thing our way, or ya'll don't get it or us at all.

Pocatello is starting to realize that their smugness a few years ago is catching up with them. As long as there is a presence of the Knytes in a town, with our watch over the entire town, keeping the riff raff out, and all they are safe. If the Knytes are not there, crime and crap increases. We don't play, we are dedicated to the towns and communities we are in. Piss on us, ya'll suffer later.

No need to be social on social pages, best do more Face-Time than Facebook

I have talked about this so many times that I get frog throat . 
Todd Friel who hosts the popular church religious program Wretched said it best. The best social place is either at church or in our own communities. You know the people, they know you, you chat on Facebook , but you also chat locally. You see each other in the stores, at the mall, even in the bar. But we have become I think all to scared to be up close and personal.
Now there's nothing wrong with places like LinkedIn , SocialCast and others, when it comes to getting business contacts, likewise things like Twitter is good for posting quick links to your blogs, and or business website. Past those things, how can you really become real , I mean REAL friends with someone that lives 2500 miles away from you? Having people you connect with I think, is based more on the people you really know, and the ones that come on social pages like Facebook. If they flat ignore you, don't respond when you ping them for even just a simple howdy, unfriend em. 
Leave em in your groups if they joined in the first place, but why have em on your friends list? Why have their crap filling your Facebook news feed? Otherwise you ignore me once, fine. Ignore me more than three times, your no longer on my friends list. Most of my Facebook friends are club members, the ones I see each month at meetings, at the shop, or in my area. But any more outside of Robin, my part time publicist, if I don't know you, or if your not a Knyte, or part of the Wolf-Pack, or a supporter of the clubs. DO NOT ASK ME TO BE YOUR FACEBOOK FRIEND. Save the phony crap for some other younger than 50 college kid. I ain't going to confirm any more friends.
Okay then, Bacon again put up some stuff, I figure awe what the heck, let em do what they do or are planning out here at the Oasis. Let em get the door slammed in their faces a bunch then they'll get the idea that maybe being a associate of myself and the club wasn't such a bad idea. What Pastor Bacon does not figure into his plan, is that the club has been centered on trucks, and trucking since it was founded in 1975, as the ONLY 4-H Truck Transportation group ever. While Hazzard County and all mixes in the Knytes-of-Anarchy is a organization of old skool truckers and the old skool trucking way of life. Have been will be. Bacon and his bunch are not truckers, do not speak trucking , or trucker talk, and will not blend in well there. Yes truck stop ministries have been around for many years. The finest is in Salt Lake City that meets at Sap Bros, Truck Stop there. The difference between The River' bunch and the Pastor at the Truckers Church in SLC? The Pastor in SLC also DRIVES A TRUCK. 
Its one of those communities that to be around truckers and talk to truckers, ya'll have to be truckers.

Can this get any more stupid or ridiculous?

Case-n-point, the River Fellowship is embarking out on a crusade to go preach and minister at the Oasis Truck Stop. Worthwhile venture, my only thing, and I am not saying don’t, all the club and I want is credit for the idea. I mentioned this once a long time ago, I planted this seed, I and the club demand credit or at least acknowledgement for the project.

Our mini trucker church tractor trailer has been going to area truck stops ALL of them for about 10 years now. The core or at least one of the cores of the gig on HazzardAyre Radio and all has been and is, bringing Gods words to long haul truckers. HazzardAyre in its original form Dixie Diesel Trucker Radio, had Chaplain Joe Hunter, on every night. Plus we were then as now going to Truck stops and having Saturday services, as the real Sabbath is Saturday after all.

So Pastor Bacon, asks if he can come and hear me preach. Really? I wanted to Preach at the River and got flat turned down. Naw this is spoiling for another area fuss.

Look we can’t stop them from going out there preaching that’s okay. I say great somebody else doing the Lords work, but trying to pick a fight with me and the Knytes? Pastor, ya’ll best not even try doing that.

Okay then , got a call during HeeHaw this evening. Seems as though an Angel investor has popped up from Utah wanting to pour money into HazzardAyre’ radio station project. So we might just get the deadline for FCC filing on time.

In closing, Pastor Bacon ought not to be trying to pick a fight he can’t win, more over what he ought to do, is come over to the Lair here, lets talk and work together for the good of God, isn’t that what its all about?
