Greetings from a far and away place called Hazzard.

hazzardayre overknyteHAZZARD COUNTY WELCOME MAT

Before I get onto my rift here, have some unfinished clean up damage control to do here.

In one of my last entries, I mentioned that one of our main candidates for our Pin up Calendar crew , namely Paige was a bit lackluster in her dedication and enthusiasm over being a model for the club. The opposite is true, she proved she was willing and able, by just driving down here for a first time meet and greet. However here is where it gets sticky. Thing is out of all the candidates for this pin up girl gig, there will be one chosen to be both Miss Hazzard County and one for Miss AyreWolf for the up coming year. Both will get a modeling talent contract worth over $300,000.00 . Someone that’s willing to put much on hold to serve in our club, and be on call around the clock. While I love Paige, I don’t think she has that will yet. She has Guard, School, and another job, that comes before us. So the focus girl for us is not her. Then there is Jessica, Same situation. So we are still trying to find those two gals, and that’s causing anxiety for me as well as both clubs. Since mother nature and Father time is not going to hold the weather much longer for both the calendar and shooting the commercials. Too bad there aren’t gals here that can just throw down, and help to recruit someone that’s able and willing, to be here on a on call basis. That would help. So to Paige your hot we welcome you hope your in for the long haul . Thing is we need more than just you and Jessica, and Mike ain’t been forth coming. Before I recommend the club cough up $50,k to him or anybody much has to be proved. Did anybody say Salt Lake City, and an agency.

It’s like Mark a great photographer whose work has been in EasyRiders, Rat Rod, AirFrame and other publications, is waiting by the phone and his bird is ready to be here overnight weather permitting. It’s up to these maybe girls and even ones that we know are on board  to step up, or step out. This is why there needs to be a agency at least here with a one call that’s all for model and or on TV air talent. That’s something we as a club are working to establish, but it takes a woman, or a guy who is hitched to pull that off. Not an MC(Motorcycle Club) or a winged warrior group. Like us.

Okay, got the papers for the new shop. Am making em out in the name of the club, rather than me. Reason? Simple with everything that has happened over the last 6 years, and here in go no where Idaho, my mind is pretty much made up that in 2015 this old Wolf is going to be building my aviation and then toewing empire in Utah. NOT IDAHO, I’m done with here and the stress of trying to do the most with less. More over do the impossible without the resources. Oh its not the resource of money we got that, it’s the dang resource of humans that have their chicken shit heads so far up their butts that many can taste the back of their teeth. Twice.

Between then and now I’m doing my duty to the club, the radio station, the shop, the bar club house, then TV station, hire managers for all of that, then this old Wolf is outta here.

But at least I do have one thing going for me here. When the troubles of this city and area piss me off to the point the blood vessels on my head and all begin popping, I can get in LiL Wolf, and drive 35 miles to Hazzard, go in amongst nothing but ducks, coots, fish, and near silence. Melt into nature, put on my fatter inner tube, get my fishing pole, and drift out and just bob along with the current, down a few brewskies and forget about this other stuff including the club although very aware that just 5 miles from MY PONDS there is where the club, unfolded and was founded. But as it was earlier this evening, I went down, let my hair unfold, and just take in nature and marvel at the little butterfly’s the screech of an eagle overhead, the croaking of frogs, and just unwind.

That’s what makes living here bearable. If it were not for that release I’d have lost it months ago.

Any mile, going to sip my coke, read my Bible and head to bed.

All the good numbers to you, 77’s and 33rd’s to ya’ll

It’s Friday the 13th Spooky

GRAND PHOOTENOTES1239962_10151810342648503_1968163634_n

It’s Friday the 13, the ghouls and goblins and all kinds of spooky things abound. Especially idiotic 4wheelers who will really mess up your rig. So in defense and prevention, this old Wolf is staying indoors here at the Wolf’s Lair, catch up on sleep, prim myself and just enjoy.

On the model front of the 2013 Pin Up Calendar. As heapt up on it as I was, I’ve lost my warmness for it. Even our illustrious Paige from Boise. She was supposed to ring my phone last night, and didn’t. Guess the job at the bar pays more than we do, so oh well.

My opinion is simple, I’m not caring if we do this now or not. The fall is going to be winter. These gals apply from an ad on CraigsList, but seldom go past a first meet and greet. Guess they expect some guy with this much cash or a paycheck as high as $1,000.00 a session, to be wearing a suit and tie, and drive a new SUV. Most people riding a bike, or building rat rods, seldom put on a tie. I remember and its not been that long ago. There was a cat in Boise named T-Willy. the name came from the gig he did building from raw frame 1923 T Roadster Buckets. T used to produce with several clubs ours included a gig called T-Willy’s Cruise Nights, at the old Artic Circle at the end of Fairview in Boise. That gig was strictly for 1965 although by invitation a bit newer, rods and customs. Mac and I and the rest of the Black Diamonds would play old rock & Roll, and have a great time. There was contests for best 50’s dress, 60’s costumes you name it, then T did T-Willy’s Custom shows in between the Roadster Shows, each year. T knew how to produce, hire the babes and really turn on the soup, but in all of it, if you saw T, he looked like a bum. Never a shirt nor tie, never dress slacks, and the newest thing he drove was a 59 Edsel. T’s biggest passion was his pigeons. He loved those rats with wings. He had ones that would carry messages, and he would go to speed trials with them. The bottom line that I’m getting to here is these models for our Pin up’s should not judge from first impressions of what I’m driving or what I’m wearing. That 93 S-Dime I drive, I drive by choice. Me and that little truck have hauled furniture, and parts from three states with loads in excess of what should have been on back. Once being assaulted by a moose in Wyoming, the other by an elk just south of Malta. That little truck somehow got me home I think on its own, from a big new years celebration in Boise when I couldn’t see. Too many Jello shots. I have nearly rebuilt that truck, and bad cylinder only because I got a spark plug stuck and without replacing the head, can’t replace the plug, but I do replace the other ones. I just love that little truck. It’s a rat rod mini truck. It’s mine, it’s paid for. That’s one reason I’m not in debt. I don’t buy what I can’t afford. So to some of these models who ping my inbox wanting to be pin up girls, if you want in, when I say call me, then call me. If not say so and hey its not personal its business, and I need to move on.

Reality is; wait until mid spring, call a full agency out of Salt Lake City. Shoot and forget. Done deal. Sorry Idaho your loosing ground. And look to a 2015 calendar.

By then the radio station of ours will be up and running, so why should I care now?

So to Jade, Paige and whomever, want in? Call. That’s all.

Stupid is as stupid does and there's a heap in Twin falls

A line from Forest Gump the movie went, Stupid is as stupid does. While I agree with that I must say, Stupid is as stupid is in Twin falls Idaho. Many say if I don't like it move, and while that is on the boards , it wont happen for at least two years. The fact that outside of summers that were spent both in Georgia as well as Alabama , I was raised up here, and I'll be damned if the place where the Knytes were founded, and this area is going in the shitter wont happen as long as I have a breath. But like years ago, which Twin Falls and the whole damn area does need to have it lily white hand held and lead to the prize, the fact is the Knytes' will have to do just that, but that's not what pissed me off. Wanted to do something as simple as find the hours of our local Smith's Food & Drug here. Need some coffee for morning. So went to their dumbass constructed web site. Everything but the damn stores hours. How can that be? Again stupid. Hell even us on our posts and all list the time we are open at the shop. Of course toewing is 24/7 , most people know that. There are a few idiotic hardly dry behind the ears people that I deal with daily, or near daily like SpeedConnect and Cable-One, that can't get it in their heads that if you work all night you need to sleep at least from 6:00AM to noon. Then if I have time do some business. That's why the shop is only open from 1:00PM to 7:00PM even then I'm scurrying all over town buying parts, even to where to find parts in most stores. Both Oriely and NAPA , as well as AutoZone needs someone who knows their inventory to go through their catalogs to show them the part or product they need.
My question is, when and where does this stupidity end? When will America as a nation stand up and say enuff of stupid, bring on some smarts. Even if those smarts which it is a known fact only us of southern culture and background have any smarts at all, have to show these idiotic Yankees, nearly how to put on their socks, let alone do mundane tasks. I listened to the book review last night on the network and am trying to get a copy, our local Barns & Noble don't list it, from author Al Benson Junior, called Lincoln's Marxists. What from the very short preview I was able to read during the show on Amazon.com this book will open your eyes and give even Yankees a cause to go , ah oops I didn't think of that. If you get a chance ask for it. Pelican Publishing does not list it anymore and I think Ray McBerry must have done that interview awhile back, but it will give you cause to reflect. Is there an answer? Yes, and its under this banner

If anyone wants to disagree I challenge them.
Like I said stupid is as stupid does.

Sometimes you just have to do it yourself and that’s what we are doing

HCCPITSTOP

It’s been a long day. First the network from Atlanta to us’ download went sour, so it was an engineering project all day. Then got a few emails from our gal Paige, having troubles with logistics. Mainly finding money for gas to roll down here. Nothing unusual there, many do. Funny though even with that slight handicap she is top drawer all the way, and yet finding local talent in the Tragic Valley, mainly Twinky Flatts, here is not as easy as would seem.

But thought is, is to put a gals pic and all on a placard, so that the little lambs here wouldn’t feel that they’d get eaten by the big bad coyote. In essence open our own agency. The reason for all this fuss? First unless some great gift from above hits, approaching the deadline for our FCC filing for the LPFM, which I wish the guy doing the work on that would wait for us and get it done, but he wants a retainer. But since squeaking out a $1,000.00 with money so tight and budgeted for the shop, bar, pin up calendar and the actual filing fees with the FCC, one more fee would put us in the red, despite the fact the club sits on $280,million, that money is for other things. Budgets are set in Chowchilla CA, no here in Idaho. In fact few things are set in Idaho. Its only if Utah’s Charter is doing something do we here get to stick our boot in the door. After all Idaho is a NOMAD Charter, not one of a full charter at least right now. As such money we get is spoon fed, and very tightly. I might add. So anything we do that’s good, we get a bit more money the following year, if not whatever over run costs due to a failure gets taken away. Managing a club with 50,000 members with 1,000 members in each of 50 states, is a tall order. So an online radio station, telling all about us, our dedication and allegiance to southern culture and history as well as the recovery and restoration of all confederate’s dream of that day when our flag>csaflag can fly proudly with old glory. Where American liberty can be preserved, is vital.

To date all of $700,000.00 has been spent on the radio station project over a period of 40 years, with no shows for on air talent (DJ’s) because some gal thinks that going to someone's house to work is hinky and kinky, or a real estate jackass can’t wait one or two days for a rent check that’s been delayed due to the incompetence of the Gooding city Post Office, who lost the damn thing, to a stupid bean counter who should never been hired in Blackfoot paying the wrong people the wrong amounts of money, and a list of real mess up’s has hindered any progress.

However the ball stays in play for the game of a online radio station that will bust ass on everything else, considering we will go up on XMSirius in February. So how do you get people to go online or tune in? Advertise and promote. Which would seem easy, but you can’t give your station to the hands of a competing station or ask them to advertise you, so everything is visual. So how do you do that? Pin Up calendar, Custom shows, airshows and of course ads in publications(magazines) that concern the hot rod and biker culture and community. How is the best way to get eyes on the ad? great looking gals in hot looking outfits, that enhance the message. You don’t want slutty what you really want sensuous , tempting but not trashy. Not bikini’s but rather skirts, nylons, heels after all this club and all that is , has its roots in things Hazzard County. Of course ya’ll want to get the look of the roaring 20’s as well as the so called 50’s and mid 60’s look, from Poodle Skirts, oxfords , bobby socks and so on. But finding talent is easier to find in Boise, that in another entry, but the radio station is why we are pushing to get something visual, on magazine pages, on TV and of course our own station. Plus occasionally getting one of these foxes in studio to co anchor a radio show or two. With everything being what it is. Sometimes you just have to do it yourself. That’s what we are doing.

Then of course there is what sometimes is our heart, Dixie Broadecasting(www.dixiebroadcasting.com) That is sometimes and most times, but not all the time. So what’s a person to do to make your southern fried radio station?

Yep, do it ourselves. Something dependable, consistent and always , not just sometimes or most of the time. Again enter in HazzardAyre and KDXB FM. Ray I think tries really hard but I think he’s having both staffing and other issues. He is a absentee station owner. On the other hand here at HazzardAyre there’s somebody here 24/7 and many of us including me, don’t get one penny, no paycheck, why do we do it? Because we are dedicated to the cause of Southern freedom and liberty.

Any mile,

The dinner bell is ringing , more L8R

So its going to be one of those nights

So its going to be one of those nights. Where everything and anything going up, or needing to download ain't working for squat. Nothing new, welcome to the Internet.
You'd think that Google wouldn't have a hitch in its get along, but go to upload another entry here and get an error message saying trouble with connecting to remote server. Must be the fires near San Fran, messing things up. Or yes it could be SpeedConnect, but you'd think after so many years these software and outfits from Google through Blogger to FaceBook and the rest would get their acts together. Ah the dream of the days of Star Trek able computers. Any way hope to see you on air overnight.

13 years is not enough to heal Remembering 9-11

RCJ HEDDERGood Morning

I’m not going to sugar coat this, or mix in much if any KOA 411.

Today marks the 12th year memorial of those who perished in a very chicken shit attack on NYC at 08:46 hours that day.

I remember it very fondly, I was on the phone with my nephew Tim, one of our network crew as well, on a landline my end , him on a cell. He was in one of those towers. I can remember the screams, the cries and panic over the phone I heard right before the line went dead.

Fortunately Tim lived and now resides with my cousin Robert Montgomery in South Carolina, but it was sheer bedlam there.

The firefighters, police, rescue workers, EMT’s , even toew truck operators. Of course our fellow Marines that did what they could. I noticed on my Facebook page only Marine supply houses giving honor to the day, everybody else just treating today as another day.

Whether you believe the attack was provoked by then President Bush, who I think could have launched a counter strike long before those big birds hit those towers. After all there was an Apache squadron in New Jersey, two mk82’s and many more would have lived, in an adage from a Star Trek movie by Spock, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one. Sure the people on those aircraft would have died, they did anyway, a pre-emptive strike would have changed much. But it all unfolded. For days all news networks, from CNN to MSNBC flooded our TV’s and all with the reran a million times of that same Mack ladder truck with people running and screaming in terror. Of course, we all went to war shortly after, first we took care of the jerk in Iraq, (your welcome ) and then many years later Osama. But all of that will not bring back those who lost their lives, wives, husbands and loved ones. A plane near missing the Pentagon? How can that happen? There is a basement in that building that houses more eavesdropping equipment that can hear a grasshopper crossing an Arizona desert, how can it miss some big airline sized aircraft heading for the building? Your guess is as good as mine.

To that end, we are doing a day of silence at HazzardAyre Radio, the shop of HCC, and outside of mandatory emergency calls, Dixie Toewing remains at rest, to honor this day and all that were lost.

Today, take time to think for once just how good you have it right now, the same thing could happen again.

Until tomorrow.

My How Women hate their bluff to be called

aHazzardAyre Short hedderhh toew tymez hedder

If you were to type in the title to this entry, into the search bar of Google, or even Bing, you will not find anything. Seems guessing or for that matter pissing off the ladies is not something that either Microsoft or Google wants to do. After all, while men do use the Internet, the damn thing is has a majority of women using it. Seems searching for 411 on the dude their about to go out with is the new sport. At least for women. Brings up the question has our society gotten that bad? That women have to see if that hot looking guy they want to bed, is a cereal killer. I admit I kill cereal every day, especially Cheerios. Love those little o’s with a few strawberries, and canned milk, combined with regular milk. If I can tap the bulk tank in the barn I get the cream and milk together. I swear they should let the milk go just in its pure state. A little cream at the top is yum. Especially if you make homemade butter or ice cream with it. Ah the joys of a simpler time when guys liked gals, gals like guys, there was little of a blur between genders, you knew if she wore a bra and nylons it was a lady and boots and jeans was a guys domain. Today those lines are shaded at best.

Checked for times on SOA tonight, bars here close at 11:00PM so no SOA Premier for me tonight, but at least I’ll catch it via rerun, as well as via next week regular cable. The fellers at Cable One better, or that $212.00 will be cut in half.

Got a email from our sweet Paige, at least she’s scouting for us. While I dig this Mike guy co producing the pin up calendar and all, the club is a bit shakey on raking out $50k to someone they or I don’t know very well. Granted it’s a courtship of sorts, for the both of us, but if I was a producer, looking to make a grand impression to a client with a $100,000.00 paycheck, I’d have at least brought one or two filly’s with me to show off. It’s as bad as me bidding a full on $20k engine job, without having examples or bidding a $60k crop dusting contract without showing an aircraft. Your real business card is what you have to show, not just what noises you make. Mike seems like a cool guy and all, but there was just something about him, that gave me the Willies. The dude that came with Mike I could relate to. He built rides so we had common ground.

Not saying no there, but maybe with the right talent of 11 or 10 more gals we could get this shot and in the can. More over get the gals will be doing the TV ads and all for the shop, the toew service and of course the AyreWolvez/Knytes-of-Anarchy. But let me explore for a short lap, my impression of Paige and Mikes expression when I said to him that Paige was our main focus model.

When Paige walked in she flat took my breath away. She was not a tiny boned anorexic gal at all. But she looked hot. Her legs were just perfect and while can’t say they were nylons she did wear something that I figure is between nylons and tights, but they still looked good. She showed up in the dress of casting in other words she understood what we were doing, the look, and came in that style. The rose in the hair was a bit much, but overall, she had my vote. Many who have applied have been ones that have no leggy look, hey it a thing of Hazzard County image here, the more curved leg , the better.

Now Mike while impressed with the idea, of Paige, was a bit lackluster. It was oh well. I thought, in my mind how can you ignore the raven beauty? Well here look for yourself>Paige1Not super skinny and no size 4 , but healthy and real, which is something we’re trying to do here. Show that even a gal with a few pounds can look good. Hey I ain’t skinny, and outside of Dave in Utah, all of the club are a bit on the large side. Seems as if when we are discharged from the corps, we make up the food intake from what we didn’t get in service. Damn sailors ate most of the good stuff. By the time we hit the Mess, the beef, spuds and gravy were gone. Only leaving veggies and steamed chicken or something that you could not identify. If you get stuck on an Island in the south pacific which we did often, the supply ship, would come MAYBE every two weeks. Grub the the Solomon’s was Vienna sausage and Spam. or Spam and Vienna Sausage. Powdered spuds, and something that was supposed to look like milk gravy, never did though, but you could glue wing fabric with it if you needed to. So we get home and its chow down and that means adding pounds. So since we don’t look like GQ model guys we are not looking for GQ model gals with waists so skinny you can put one palm around her whole body. I want something to get ahold of. as well as the camera. Not plus sizes , but good healthy sizes. So then that’s what we’re doing here.

Now to bring this in for a landing,

It’s to be understood that while some of us in the club have experience here with this media, talent , video production thing, its not our chosen arena. I’d much rather be strafing a field, or spinning a wrench on a rat rod, or rolling out to a toew. But to get more of all of that I need promotion. Nothing gets a buyers eye better than eye candy with a ride, bird, or rod. Problem is in our grand area there’s not a big bunch of available agencies or the availability of talent. What there is has never been trained. If we can do both to have a ready talent pool to draw from it’ll make a huge difference. Considering that past the Pin Up Calendar gig, there’s the TV ads for the club and my operation, plus there’s the movie for the Radio network/station and all of that, its not a one shot see ya thing. As far as Mike is concerned, he’s cool and all, but no phone call or anything for a few days, might mean he’s getting cold feet or doesn’t care. While I’d like to have 6 more months, or better to produce at least for the toew truck calendar and all there’s two maybe 3 months left. The calendar after its shot will be printed by Photo Card Specialties, and distributed at toew and custom shows over next year. The AyreWolvez Warbird video and calendar will be distributed at airshows as well as at other related events. I understand that for many of these people models, Mike and others this promo project is not the most important thing in their day or week. We however are betting treasury money on the sales of the calendar etc for military hospitals and children’s hospitals. We need these people on board. And they need to get into the flow. If needed we’ll put it off until next year. But hopefully Paige and her friends will get in gear and see this as an important project worth their undivided time.

Until morning.
