Sometimes you just have to do it yourself and that’s what we are doing

HCCPITSTOP

It’s been a long day. First the network from Atlanta to us’ download went sour, so it was an engineering project all day. Then got a few emails from our gal Paige, having troubles with logistics. Mainly finding money for gas to roll down here. Nothing unusual there, many do. Funny though even with that slight handicap she is top drawer all the way, and yet finding local talent in the Tragic Valley, mainly Twinky Flatts, here is not as easy as would seem.

But thought is, is to put a gals pic and all on a placard, so that the little lambs here wouldn’t feel that they’d get eaten by the big bad coyote. In essence open our own agency. The reason for all this fuss? First unless some great gift from above hits, approaching the deadline for our FCC filing for the LPFM, which I wish the guy doing the work on that would wait for us and get it done, but he wants a retainer. But since squeaking out a $1,000.00 with money so tight and budgeted for the shop, bar, pin up calendar and the actual filing fees with the FCC, one more fee would put us in the red, despite the fact the club sits on $280,million, that money is for other things. Budgets are set in Chowchilla CA, no here in Idaho. In fact few things are set in Idaho. Its only if Utah’s Charter is doing something do we here get to stick our boot in the door. After all Idaho is a NOMAD Charter, not one of a full charter at least right now. As such money we get is spoon fed, and very tightly. I might add. So anything we do that’s good, we get a bit more money the following year, if not whatever over run costs due to a failure gets taken away. Managing a club with 50,000 members with 1,000 members in each of 50 states, is a tall order. So an online radio station, telling all about us, our dedication and allegiance to southern culture and history as well as the recovery and restoration of all confederate’s dream of that day when our flag>csaflag can fly proudly with old glory. Where American liberty can be preserved, is vital.

To date all of $700,000.00 has been spent on the radio station project over a period of 40 years, with no shows for on air talent (DJ’s) because some gal thinks that going to someone's house to work is hinky and kinky, or a real estate jackass can’t wait one or two days for a rent check that’s been delayed due to the incompetence of the Gooding city Post Office, who lost the damn thing, to a stupid bean counter who should never been hired in Blackfoot paying the wrong people the wrong amounts of money, and a list of real mess up’s has hindered any progress.

However the ball stays in play for the game of a online radio station that will bust ass on everything else, considering we will go up on XMSirius in February. So how do you get people to go online or tune in? Advertise and promote. Which would seem easy, but you can’t give your station to the hands of a competing station or ask them to advertise you, so everything is visual. So how do you do that? Pin Up calendar, Custom shows, airshows and of course ads in publications(magazines) that concern the hot rod and biker culture and community. How is the best way to get eyes on the ad? great looking gals in hot looking outfits, that enhance the message. You don’t want slutty what you really want sensuous , tempting but not trashy. Not bikini’s but rather skirts, nylons, heels after all this club and all that is , has its roots in things Hazzard County. Of course ya’ll want to get the look of the roaring 20’s as well as the so called 50’s and mid 60’s look, from Poodle Skirts, oxfords , bobby socks and so on. But finding talent is easier to find in Boise, that in another entry, but the radio station is why we are pushing to get something visual, on magazine pages, on TV and of course our own station. Plus occasionally getting one of these foxes in studio to co anchor a radio show or two. With everything being what it is. Sometimes you just have to do it yourself. That’s what we are doing.

Then of course there is what sometimes is our heart, Dixie Broadecasting(www.dixiebroadcasting.com) That is sometimes and most times, but not all the time. So what’s a person to do to make your southern fried radio station?

Yep, do it ourselves. Something dependable, consistent and always , not just sometimes or most of the time. Again enter in HazzardAyre and KDXB FM. Ray I think tries really hard but I think he’s having both staffing and other issues. He is a absentee station owner. On the other hand here at HazzardAyre there’s somebody here 24/7 and many of us including me, don’t get one penny, no paycheck, why do we do it? Because we are dedicated to the cause of Southern freedom and liberty.

Any mile,

The dinner bell is ringing , more L8R
