So I went back to church, now kinda wishd I hadn’t

So I decided ah what the Heavens I’ll go back to church. Now b4 some of ya’ll think that I’m bad mouthing the denomination any don’t. I have one of the best if not thee best now Bishops that I have ever had. His basic cabinet aka the Bishopric are great people, but that’s except for one Family the McFadden family, the rest of many there are real jerx and about as inviting as cobra snakes. So I went to sacrament meeting, renewed my promises and honor to Heavenly Father, and who was to speak ? A young lady there that I truly am sorry I offended along with her immediate family, it was not done in meanness or any thing, and I’d love to be able to apologize to her, maybe the Bishop can arrange that. So this same young lady gave a fantastic talk, and I never was a bit bored. She got to the matter quite well , was very articulate, I wish I could hire her, she’d make a great on air talent.

Then came one of our area ward Missionaries. About as bored as I could be, I went to sleep several times. People who just run long sentences and just drone on its like, add some humor and something uplifting.

Then the next speaker got up, and while not as bad, nearly put me out into never, never land.

So that was over, on the way out, I was kind of ushered to class. The teacher and all is fairly good, but outside of maybe two or 3 in that class I feel about as welcome as the sheep, I know in a way that I am, but still a bit of tolerance is needed here.

Priesthood, meeting. I stayed long enough for opening excersizes, but left fairly early. In all cases, outside of Brother Larson and a very fine few in there I again felt like the lone Coyote in the heard of Buffalo. I don’t even get asked to say an opening prayer, no matter what meeting of the church it is.

The Wyld and not so Wyld One’s

There are some people that truly need to read this blog I carve out before they bother me with an interview. Especially on an early morning Sunday. Glad I was not out brewing last night, but rather on air. Even then, I love a brew or two and maybe some Shine during a show would be a groove I get into.

Being a bit loose in the mind makes great radio.

But so this guy, calls wants to be on the station. Well ya’ll can’t say I just want to hire women. So I invited him up to the Cat House here for a chat. So He showed up I showed him some of what goes on, and he says his Mom might be interested. Fine, groovy, so she calls yesterday night and wants to run up this morning. Oops Did I say; MORNING? I don’t do mornings EVER! I do afternoons , maybe but seldom before 14:30 . I need my sleep. I’m getting older, I’m stuck in my ways , and they are GENUINE SOUTHERN KOUNTRY ways, not idiotic Yankee ways.

So I get’s up, as they are tapping at the door at 09:00, I stagger out and they expect me to be bright eyed at that hour after doing radio until 07:00 . I got an hour of sleep.

During the interview, of the theory of this outfit and the station being that of a biker club, and the frequent socializing that occasionally has boobs, booze and bikes involved the booze side turned em off, so I wasted my half day yesterday , and got up too early, so I’ll see you after church. I should have put in as I always do, if you don’t ride and can’t accept our two wheeled culture you should not apply to work at HazzardAyre Radio. I’m sorry that’s what it is.

On this gig, while we are growing, maybe we’re trying to grow, the crop in a field that just might be filled with lye. In other words, and I’ve heard it before from way too many people, this village does not want new business’s , or at least ones out of the normal, nor does it like advanced progress.

Gotta ask the Bishop, today about helping with my rent for June, since I need to get the car fixed.

I didn’t want to, but with things the way they are, days like now, make me really want to just say oh poo, with Evanston and say hello Burley, I’m coming home.

Once I get the car fixed, I can then get over to Burley, find a place to hang my hat, and just get out of here.

Let you know the results after church. That’s why I love online radio, it can move where I do.

The List keeps growing and we keep going

I’m always amazed at how much we are growing here at HazzardAyre Radio. What started out as a mere smidgen of an idea in 2010 has grown into nearly a full entity of its own.

But it was only two years ago when we finally got the correct instruction of how to go to a stream, rather than just meandering over Terrestrial radio. Terrestrial radio is not bad, it gets to the spear point, but if your one of our Warriors member on duty on station half way around the world, your not going to be able to tune in as you would on a world wide streaming service like we have now.

Another show done, now ready for bed, yea right?

Another AyreWolf Radio show done and aired. Took long enough. Had a malfunction in the inline settings, on ye ole computer, but some on the fly engineering and it seems to work okay, I feel proud of myself when I can figure these things out. There just are times, when you need to use your cranium a bit, to get things done. You get to a point where you know there isn’t anyone you can call mid early morning, things go ary and you just have to get your cranium fluids flowing then your okay.

Weather here has been really wet, despite the fact that its only raining on the desert mountain floor, up in the Higher Uinta mountains and one peak at 9000 feet above sea level, where as Brian and I were working in our transmitter shack, it decided to snow. The freezing drizzle getting up there made the venture tricky but we’re getting closer to launching the radio station over the air in two months, so its getting exciting.

Still haven’t heard from Infogenix or anybody on building the stations web site and all that goes with it, but got in touch with the friendly folks, that rebuilt Beth Ann of CsC Talk Radio’s site and did the streaming set up, so hope to have it all together for the launch in August. Our FM will be banging on the doors and from the dash boards of truck cabs at a whopping 250k watts, our AM will be knocking as loud at 25k from here which means a bunch of prep work and good hiring.

The latter remains a mystery, one applicant suggested raising the bar, which I would if we could just get someone in the studio that’s worth it. So far that hasn’t happened. It’s one thing to get applicant requests for more exploration on the matter, by email and such, but no phone call, and not being already local to just walk in and do edgy , racy, total off the wall fight the system radio is tough. More over if your looking for a female sidekick. It makes for very long days, but at least we’re getting there. Shows are airing on Livestream for now, so hey we are on the way again.

What drove me back to radio

When I start having days like today where technical problems with equipment, where I’m in such a place without resources for replacement parts, I think my where did the days of just plain good old fashioned trucking and towing with the wind in my hair, out in the expanses of the Mountain West go? Then I remember that one early morning just outside of the town of Spencer Idaho. That was the trip that had me crapping my britches and doing mucho praying.

The trip didn’t start any different, and had we been loaded it wouldn’t have been as bad. But up to Wisdom Montana just over the Idaho/Montana border, we went. When we started seeing freezing drizzle in Salmon Idaho, after eating a good meal, when I say we I mean 3 trucks that were owned by Circle 4 Cattle Company of Jerome/Gooding Idaho. There was myself, Stuttering Mel, YellowJacket and RoyBear. As we started up that fearsome two mile highway with switchbacks that would make a snake jealous it decided to snow. And I MEAN SNOW, like 2-1/2 to 3 inches an hour. Even with chains it was a go a bit, back down and thrust again. By the time we reached the town of Spencer, after blowing out the diaphragm of the injector on Mel and I’s truck, getting stuck 6 times loading, we pulled into a LDS church parking lot on a Saturday night no less, knowing that church members would be there by 9:00AM, it was on that morning, with the truck idling to keep warm, on a lonely AM radio in that old Peterbilt, there came the soothing sounds of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I then thought how can I bring this to the working trucker? I then fell back into the mindset of building the ultimate truckers radio network, throughout the Mountain West to bring Heavenly Father and the teachings of Jesus Christ into the cabs of working truckers everywhere in our region. Not on one big watt station that had its problems of fading in and out, but on stragically placed small 20,000 watt or less AM and FM stations where able . So just shy of things breaking Hazzard County, I met with the then RoadMasters Association members, aka now the Rode Knytes Association, and the Long Haul Trucker Radio Network, was born. After the Hazzard County thing and just after the Highway Hooker Radio Network branched out The Dixie Diesel Trucker Network brought the sounds of God, and Jesus along with southern bred rebel born fight the system into thousands of truck cabs across the region. The original founding sponsor of the network was Long Haul Jeans company, the other one and don’t ask why, but the second big sponsor was Leggs Hosiery Company.

That’s how I got back into radio, but there are days like today that I’d love to just fire up a rig and just go truck it.

Getting the word out about getting the words and music out

Getting the word out about getting the words and music of HazzardAyre Radio out.

It takes a lot to rebuild. Even if you were once the hottest ticket on standard airwaves and online it takes your best efforts just to stay current. But then came the idiotic concept of moving things from Woods Cross Utah where we hotter than a Saturday night special, to going colder than Jack Frosts testicles here in Evanston Wyoming. The coldness started when one in fact the only line of site wireless Internet provider service NGL, lets us on in December, and even when I had paid the bill because I complimented one of the lady clerks there on how poised and efficient she was, they decided to unplug me. So it took until March just to get the equipment back, get on AllWest and get back on some sort of airings. Then came a storm that took out the big stick on the Mountain for us and it took a bit to get us back on the terrestrial airwaves. So any mile. There’s quite a few that don’t even know we are back up, and so this involves spending some extra cash out of the stash to get us in gear here. Over the next few months you’ll hear ads on such places as CsC Talk Radio, you’ll see ads on FoX 13 News in the morning, METV and other outlets which is why we have been trying to find some snazzy skirts in hose and heels to tell you where to find the best online radio for those that groove to 6 and 18 wheels. But some folks think that I need to find a personal SheWolf here, let me inform those that are working with a stripped timing chain. If I needed to get laid that bad, my LiL truck, even with a slight oil leak, two tanks of fuel and $400.00 and I’m in Wells Nevada at the Sugar Shack. For the none queer male corpuscles needing what we do for you overnight as you move the loads and those who tow on that open road, getting a local gal to pitch the gig, on those TV ads, and trade and enthusiasts magazines will be quite keen. And to have her be a local gal from here in or near Evanston would be so dear.

Rebuilding HazzardAyre back into the power house we once was is going to take time, but its happening. BTW, we are going to be going to a new service, and leaving Livestream in August. A service that supplies the streaming for CsC Talk Radio can do it quite affordably, so be watching for the news on that groove real soon.

Romantic dreamy nytes

A grand morning as we wrap up another HazzardAyre Live on KDXL AM 1240 .

I was remembering back to another morning pretty much like this early morning at 02:26 hours, we tell time Marine style okay? Get over it. Any flyte, so I was working our original station run, and I remember walking out on the cement porch in front of our studios there in Hazzard, Idaho and while this may not seem romantic to you, the glow from old Sandy’s Dairy, the aroma of those old go-go girls dripping milk into those big buckets, the smells of fresh cut alphalpha and silage, the whole night was absolutely amazing. There, in that time and space its just a crystal clear dark blue purple sky, those small sparkly beams of light so many light miles from our tiny third rock from a solar sun, and the humm of those 18 wheels out on old Highway U.S. 30 the burble of Hazzard Creek, the bullfrogs mating , its just a romantic night.

Those that have never been to our REAL HAZZARD, are missing something very relaxing and at the same time rejuvenating of body mind and yes even soul.

No stress , no big deal except considering how fast I could haul my cookies to Twin to get my weekly pay out of the ATM at then Key Bank there, and to IHOP for breakfast.

It’s not that destination but the drive over. Out in the middle of our shine running kountry which we and I’ll admit it we did on a regular basis. There’s just something magic of that truly Magic Valley, and I sure do miss it. But circumstances being what they are right now, can’t go back at least just not yet. Even if I could, that house in Hazzard houses other people, outside of Ricky and the A1 crew including Jared and Charlie, There’s no real family there any more, so while romantic and all that living there again would be, I’m closer now to my kin folk now than I have been in quite some time, but my do I miss Hazzard.

Hazzard is not just a place of real estate, it’s a place in the heart. It’s in your soul, and for relaxing techniques I kick back close my eyes, and just fade away to those memories of yesteryear, there.

As I close for this morning and head for my bed that I’d love to remain in, until 11:30 Hours, We tried to upload to our LiveStream feed, but low bandwidth, and weather prevented that but at least we delivered over terrestrial radio any way.
