Christmas is over so now what?

HAZZARDAYRE TAG 1HAZZARDAYRE PHOOTENOTES

Christmas is darn near over. Not much happened on the toew front, a slide off down Hollister way another up near Hailey, but outside of that just another lonely Christmas.

The better half got a case of strepped throat, and the sniffles so she was taking it easy. I rustled up enough energy and all to truck on over to Charley’s to snag Christmas Dinner. Came home tuned into Family Net, which to be honest is all the TV I really need. Seems you’d think other major TV Networks would get the idea. Rural areas have our own genre that even CBS that was once considered rural biased don’t run today.

It’s rewarding to be able to tune into HeeHaw, and Larry’s Country CafĂ© on the weekends, and Remington Steele during the week, not missing out on Movin On, and others. For once someone in TV got it right. But then they left a bunch out as well. So guess what? Confederate Star will soon be there to fill the void in much the same way, just need to get past the filling all the job openings here at KDXB FM (HazzardAyre-WyldAyre Radio) plus doing some of the other out reach programs the club has been doing.

I really love( Not Really, I am pissed off , but not surprised) the fact that the Times News through a reporter who came to the Wolf’s Den to do an interview , took up my time, time I could have used at the shop, took photos, but didn’t do crap. Just like the little twit from the same paper who came over to Buhl, for the Knytes. She comes over, sits down and just because she couldn’t talk to all of the members nothing happens. For someone to talk to our other members, would be like inviting the press to The Reaper Club on Son’s of Anarchy, neither one wants to be in the spotlight. All we really wanted was to put something up so that new prospects as well as a few retired members of the AyreWolvez as well as the Knytes of Anarchy(aka-Hazzard County Knytes) would know the rest of us were still alive.

But again I reitter this, Aren’t ya’ll glad there’s HazzardAyre? The fact we are only doing this online is simply because as of to date have not found some printer who will print our published version for near the same price that 303 Printing formally of Gooding City Idaho did when HazzardAyre was the Hazzard County Gazzette, and part of Monkey Bizzness. Rather than worry about that we have been more focused on building both our terrestrial over the air radio station and network, as well as trying to find someone with the marbles in their brain to build our web site, for our online radio station. I think we have, but its some outfit out of state. I have been and the club agrees that when ever possible do business in Idaho. But guess what there is NO ONE in IDAHO that can put the station together at least online, in IDAHO so again we have to do phone tag and have to farm the development of that out of Idaho. Hey we tried. Which brings me to another point.

Over the last week or so I have been criticized for bringing gals here to the Wolf’s Den, to interview for on air, and visual projects for the club and radio station. The eye brows are raised because its in my house. Reason? Simple, why spend a ton of money to get a formal facility, spend extra money, for that facility, when we can’t get enough little heads up their butts, premadonnas to staff such a thing? As I have always preached, when there is a sufficient amount of people mainly gals taking it seriously and not scared their virtues will be violated then, I’ll spend the money for a bigger place. The one that houses our microwave link transmitter and all on Broadway in Buhl, is just fine. We pay a simple $125.00 a month, plus about $75.00 in electricity, and so it goes. The staff also includes not just the female on air and in studio models either. The staff needs are everything from Production assistants, program writers, news reporters, feature reporters and editors, and people to hit the pavement drumming up ad dollars in ad sales for the station.

When the station gets to that point, sure I’ll go out and get into a Cathedral studio station like Charley Tuma’s old KLIX studios, or that of KMVT. Until then we are keeping it simple. The lesson of going formal or really getting the cart before the horse or milking machine before the cow, was from what hit bottom in Gooding. Oh we had one heck of a crew, my still main production assistant Erin and Emme Lee, was grand, but then we brought in more than we could stand, albeit we had the shot at entering into the inner circle of RFDTV then, as RFDTV was looking to replacing Don Imus in the morning, Mark and Patrick of RFDTV and I talked on the phone at length and it was agreed we’d shoot a few pilot episodes, get the TV gear, and they’d get us in, where RFDTV would pop into our cash stash each month $200K. Not bad. Then the fabulous Gooding Post Office could not figure out where to deliver my mail, even though I had moved only 6 blocks from where I lived there, then, and a check that would have paid rent was lost. It took weeks past due dates, to get that straight. But what else happened, good old Richard Strickland of Strickland Realty there , locks the damn door, during a point, that I went for a dinner break at 4:30 PM, couldn’t he have said something earlier in the damn day? We had a local sponsor a check was on its way for $1,800.00 only a few days for heck sake.

But that taught me a lesson, and made the club weary of spending money on an outside place until there was sufficient staff to mandate and validate that expense. It’s like right now, I’m going to unplug our Burley shop , move my gear over here into one of my partner Charley’s shops, and save the $175.00. If all I’m doing is toewing right now why not, more over the $175.00 can be applied to the hangar space I’m renting for AyreWolf Aviation and for the AyreWolvez at the TF Airport.

This gives me more time to spend on this radio gig.

Okay enough ranting, but the Times News snoozed so they loose. No story, no ad dollars spent on them. Aren’t ya’ll glad there’s HazzardAyre the publication that truly cares and dares.

As the night draws to a close and I’m all alone, I begin to think of everything I have to be thankful for. Charley, A1, the brotherly love of the club , and the fact that the yesterdays from Burley and Mini Cassia that should never have been.

I listened to a PSR who said to go over there, not spend big money in Buhl and so on. I did, and just about every month I was broke or nearly so. Sure I had the shop, towing service and all, but by the time I paid the bills of my own operation, and I never make a dollar from the club, since what I do, there is duty and all for the membership of the club, but I was always cash challenged every month. There were times I would have killed for a can of SKOAL, by the last week of the month. Now, no problem, and dig this, the complete turn around happened in only a couple of months.  Imagine if I had just stayed put and all in Buhl in 2010. We’d be and I’d be light years from where I am now.

So I sit here thinking about those Christmas’ in Hazzard. Back then it truly snowed in Hazzard. The drive up our road was nearly impassible. Snow was so deep I’d park the tow truck at the end of the road and ferry down in our home made snowmobile.

Mom and Dad always made a fuss on Christmas. We’d have crawdad, sweet spuds, turnip greens, deep fried okra, cold, cold buttermilk, corn bread, dad’d go out slaughter a pig, and yum, we had all the Christmas Dinner ya’ll could want. We’d sit by one of the two fireplaces, roasting marshmellows on old bar-b-que sticks. Of course there were gifts, many of which I’d play more with the boxes than the toys. Those boxes made great spaceships that I could crawl inside of. Then there was that one Christmas, mom had made me a mini town of Hazzard for my hot wheels and matchbox cars. I had a collection that would be worth thousands of dollars today. But no, and I’ll put this in again because of the season. One year I, not Mom, although mom suggested it, but I donated two semi truck loads of my toys, much of my diecast car collection along with other toys, a one of a kind Johnny Speed remote control Corvette and all to the Hagerman LDS Ward for those kids that needed them. We filled 20 families with near 14 kids a piece with new or nearly new toys, that Christmas. And yet when my Mom passed away in 1983, not one of those LDS people even said can we help you in some way. Even with my kind heart I do that, and I can’t even get a thing about our club in the damn Times News. Should I be bitter? I can’t even get KMVT to do a news story on the club? With all Myself, my family and the club, has done for this entire area, I can’t even get recognized? Naw why the hell should I be bitter? But like one of our club members said at it is exact, The club never gets mad, we get even. Again aren’t ya’ll glad you have HazzardAyre?

Well, Christmas is over , now what?

That in my next entry.

Twuz the day before Christmas

HAZZARDAYRE TAG 1

Twuz the day before Christmas and all over the road were trucks stalled with their heavy loads, but from out of the sun came several tow trucks with the sign A1.

We got those rigs rolling and wondered if in the morning it would be snowing.

Out of the Heaven, we all got a blessing, the sunshine poured from out of the clouds , we could all go to sleep all warm in our house.

But then I had the need to eat and crawled into the scurry of hundreds of people shopping, thinking I ain’t going to do no hopping.

Praying that I could go over to the yard to get some gas, but Charley had left, ah what the heck, ask after dinner tomorrow knowing there is no need for sorrow.

From all of us at Dixie Toewing of Idaho,

A Hazzard County Christmas to ya’ll.

Something's been missing

HAZZARDAYRE TAG 1ADDT HEDDER

Something I don’t rap about here is what we are and, more importantly what this club, isn’t.

Founding members and sponsors know the history and most of , but not all know the foundation that was the original reason why our men and a few women of valor assembled in the first place.

The Knytes-of-Anarchy was created on the rock foundation of the Hazzard County Knytes, that most understand. But what is less understood, is the fact that outside of ten of us assembled inside what was once the Polish Palace , now the Snake River Grill, that outside of those 10, the rest of the membership in the region were members of something we , rather myself, My dad and a few others put together in 1973 as the then, TeenAge Truckers Association which was a combination rural farm truck career 4-H program and a pilot 4-H program based on the idea of teaching youngsters how to use a CB, Radio properly, and how that use can benefit others, in a community and the community of the highway, mainly OTR(Over,The,Road ) long haul truckers.

At the time was a similar group backed in part by what was then a cousin to Diesel Drivers International that also had as a subsidiary a group called REACT, which stands for Radio,Emergency,Action,Communications,Team.

So getting back on the road here, The TeenAge Truckers Association brought together a little group called the JR-14 CB Club, and in 1976 combined to create the overall organization , based in part on what had been founded by Mike Parkhurst , founder and publisher of the original OVERDRIVE magazine. This is important here to remember. Because it was on Overdrive’s pages that , created thereon was the DateMaster section that took a classy lady, and an even home grown rig, and a beautiful background and it was truly classy without being trashy. This is where and why we in the TeenAge Truckers, started finding models etc to feature with some of the classier OTR rigs and yes toew trucks in our area.

It was 1977 I had from going to school there , found an old high school radio station, KLHS at Lewiston High School. I had a study hall in the classroom where this radio station was at, and from previous years in my life’s road was the only one in that classroom with an FCC license.

I got a 45 minute show at 11:00AM to 12:00PM and I could go as far as another hour through lunch.

I found a bunch of music that was donated 45’s and most of it was old kountry music and 80% of that contained old trucker music, from Red Simpson, Red Sovine, and others, Dave Duddley, and so on.

So I started a thing called Maximum Overdrive, Radio. Preached the teachings of the TeenAge Truckers Association and the combining of my two loves, trucks, trucking, and radio came to being.

This went on until May 1978, when after getting my first toew truck that is still the base of what I run now, I found that there was nothing talking toewing on the radio.

No matter how I begged and pleaded could I get a local radio station at the time to go along with such a far reach of such a show. So I pitched the idea of a overnight on the weekend OTR trucker program, to then KLIX GM and Owner Charley Tuma. He said if I could find 4 advertisers to back it , he’d let me do it, My Dad put up some money, from his mini farm hauling business, another ag based trucking company in Hagerman put up some money and the result was Maximum Overdrive was on the air.

Not too long after was a movie by the same name. By this time Hazzard Fever had infected me, so I thought of a name that would work, and in 1983 just shortly after my Mom passed away, by then on our own radio station in Hagerman that started as KDSL that became KTOW , the program , Dixie Diesel Radio took to the air.

Now then to bring this in, on this early morning.

In 2006 by the time I had made it back to Idaho here, I had found that many of our Hazzard County Knytes had moved elsewhere, both northern Idaho as well as out of state.

So I sat down with a few of our founding members at the Boise Stage Stop, and it was decided to pull out or at least away, a bit from all the Hazzard County thing and rebuild on what we started with as then the TeenAge Truckers Association that became in 1988 the United American Independent Truckers Association, kind of a rebuild of the ITA, that story next entry, but getting on here.

The Knytes-of-Anarchy was created to not, REPEAT, NOT be a BIKERS CLUB, but a group of us wanting to retain and restore the ideas of the golden days of trucking. While still keeping the Hazzard thing involved but more of on a stealth basis.

In October 2008 The Knytes-of-Anarchy was born at a trucker party held at then Shorty’s Saloon in Garden City a sub town of Boise.

The only similarity between us and a BIKERS CLUB , is the name ANARCHY, by the same token, Truckers at least owner/operator types, are of the same affections, a clean tricked out rig, in our case a chromed out Peterbilt or Kenworth, a full load of fuel in our tanks, open dry good road, and are very much anti establishment, anti social types, who don’t do a suit & tie, don’t do a supervisor although its getting more these days with DOT mandating black boxes and in truck cameras monitoring our every move, and that damn GPS telling our shippers and so on our every mile, but still Truckers are in essence bikers, with a hell of a lot more steel and more wheels.

With XMSirius satellite, many of those late night over the road trucker radio shows went up to the sky, and no longer are on terrestrial or standard radio. Even fewer on AM.

Many in our organization saw this coming in 1994. In 1995 the then Hazzard County Knytes through our brothers in the UAITA, and regional subsidiary the Rode Knytes Association bought the remains of what was the Interstate Radio Network or IRN. From a small radio station in Price Utah KOAL, Dixie Diesel Trucker Radio was reborn, in 1998. Sponsored by the real Dixie Diesel Shop, not Dixie diesel service of St.George Utah. But the Dixie Diesel Shop of then Price, Spanish Fork, and Murray Utah, as well as the Dixie Diesel Shop of Preston, Malad, Blackfoot, Pocatello, and of course Tuttle Idaho.

There’s much more and I’ll be going into this further in days to come on our sister blog Dixie Diesel Tymez, (www.dixiedieseltymez.blogspot.com) HazzardAyre continues that tradition of Dixie Diesel Trucker Radio from midnight to 6:00AM .

What that is and all in my next entry.

So I defriended them on Facebook, guess the war goes on?

HAZZARDAYRE PHOOTENOTES

So went on line to check my Facebook, page and saw that the illustrious, and arrogant KMVT had said and reporting that snow was falling, like I didn’t know that, as I was out getting people back on the road west of Bliss.

Have been doing that most of the day. I-84 here outside of Twin Falls, has very slushy conditions, with freezing under the light snow pack making driving a real knuckle buster.

So saw that KMVT said , he’d like to hear from some weather spotters and so on.

So I looked and saw nowhere on thereof , a place to put anything on there, much less comment.

Guess the long battle between the Knytes-of-Anarchy including myself versus KMVT goes on. So I decided fine, keep pissing me off, and deleted them as friends and life goes on. Now again I tell you, aren’t you blessed to have HazzardAyre here where you can talk to us and we are not so stuck up?

Talking about HazzardAyre, did a Google search on us, HazzardAyre is getting some online buzz in the good column. That said, watch for expansions to the reach and influence HazzardAyre gains in 2013. We have a full crew coming on board, we now have an onsite engineer, and an onsite Computer IT tech, on board.

Just like our Towing competitors trying to nudge out Dixie And A1 aside, the local news agencies here, including KMVT News ought to move over because , HazzardAyre is here doing what few dare.

Just one question for KMVT, if your going to be on social networks like Facebook, be social, not stuck up. If you want information from viewers, then give us access or shut up.

Like Lee Iacocca said it in an old Chrysler K Car ad, I address this to KMVT, Lead, Follow, or get the hell out of the way.

By the way KMVT, anytime your joint comes up for sale again, let me know, HazzardAyre is ready to buy.

See ya’ll on the highway and on the radio.

B4 I go, got a blib from our guys in Nashville, HazzardAyre goes visual in May, 2013 with HazzardAyre TV.

More on that in my next posting.

ONE MAN & A TOW TRUCK[2]

Politically Incorrect

c1APPYAMERICANREPORT

c1<<<<<<<< This flag just might be the salvation or at least the only path to divine salvation for this union.

Seems as the folks and I’m proud to be one of them, that believes in tradition like it was up in those hills as well as our southern nation. We think that Christmas should keep the word Christ in it, not be just abbreviated with an X, as in X_MAS, What he heck is that anyway? Then there is the thing of those that stay on the fence of believing in Christ and our Heavenly Father , that want to neuter the season by calling it just that the Winter Season, or Winter Break. Bullstuff. Christmas although astronomically incorrect is still the birth of Jesus Christ, our real savior who came down to this misguided and arrogant, ignorant earth, to save ALL of us from ALL of our sins.

No body goes through life without sinning, I don’t care how careful you are, from blaspheming our Heavenly Fathers name to coveting property. And even me although I might justify it as saving someone from a otherwise abusive environment, lusting after other’ women. But We all sin.

What lets me sleep, is knowing that when I curl up early mornings as I rarely get to go to bed before 07:00 hours , that’s 7:00 AM for you none military and mentally challenged .

But I rest easy knowing that no matter what I do, that God sent his only son to this earth to pay for my sins, by being crucified on a cross for my sins. And yes yours.

Bill Anderson the kountry singer said it best on his new album , with the title, I still believe in Christmas.

Oh sure there are those that trash a youngsters perception of Santa Clause, sure the time of year is meant more , now days for commerce that thanking God for giving us his son, to love as well, but think of this, and ask yourself what did you do for someone this Christmas?

If you want to see a picture of what this season and time of year really means , look at this>>>>44998_399197263495445_68203126_n<<<<

That’s my mentor and best friend Charlie with his new Granddaughter, and I can’t think of a more precious image of Christmas than that.

Yep I may be Pilitically Incorrect, but I’ll keep my love of good people, I’ll keep the standards I was raised with, I’ll keep my Hazzard County roots strong, I will salute this flag>>c1 I’ll sing the Dixie National Anthem, but most importantly I’ll keep Christ in and will continue to believe in CHRISTMAS.

Happy Christmas to ya’ll

Guard, spy or employee? You decide!!

COOTERS GEARZ HEDDER BIGHAZZARDAYRE PHOOTENOTES

Well here tiz Liz, another Sunday , where I should be asleep but am burning the nyte oil.

Seems as though the disbelief of many of the prospective females entering the Wolf-Pack should be, becoming belief, without doubt.

I know that , Helen, obtained Josh for two reasons, one a big black guy, being more of a guard to their safety, but also to infiltrate the inner circle. Okay not so much infiltrate but to gather intel. I’ll call Josh a JAFO. In military speak, a JAFO is defined as, Just, Another, Fucking,Observer. You might have heard that in the movie Blue Thunder.

Saturday came, the gals whether or not purposefully or not were missing and being distant. Okay, but at 15:30 hours, Charlie calls, wants to know where I’m at and if I’m going to the party? So gals not here, I took Josh.

I think the report to the gals will be, HazzardAyre and all that makes that mostly us, is not bullshit, but very real with solid financial backing and support and that they , best shyt or get off the pot. Charlie as much as I love him has some interestic quirks. Charlie is one who while my age has a condition of that of a toddler. What Charlie wants, or expects, Charlie wants now, or Charlie throws a tantrum. In the adult thought here, Charlie yells. But that must work as look at the success of Charlie and A1. It can’t be argued it works. I share, thankfully those same characteristics as well. Dixie Toewing as we spell it now to distinguish ourselves from the Mississippi   river tug boat company, was built upon the back of three toew companies, all owned by myself and my Dad, and his brother Bill. The handle of the company is a distant brother to that of what we started as the Hazzard County Garage, of Idaho that simply wrote the book of towing in Idaho. With 5 trucks stationed in 8 locations meaning 40 trucks total all over Idaho, Dixie Toewing is thee tow service. Now coupled with A1 Towing of Twin Falls, competitors need to just move over because there is no duplication. There is no equal than us.

Dixie Toewing backs HazzardAyre, was the founder of the Hazzard County Knytes, based upon a TV show(Dukes-of-Hazzard) and a major movie Hollywood Knights of the early 1980’s. The Hazzard County Knytes changed over into the Knytes-of-Anarchy in 2008 and is the brother organization of the AyreWolvez, {see more on that in WyldAyre Magazine.} HazzardAyre Magazine, backs HazzardAyre Radio and the rest most of you know the rest.

When visual aids are required to deliver a message to both members, prospective members and sponsors, we deliver it Hazzard County style, meaning great looking women dressed in very leggy threads. We will however never, ever do nudes or bikini’s I just don’t think that makes good Hazzard County photography. That’s why in everything we do, means these>>>41VDtBTA23L._SX342_ in these>>>>images

equals = This>>>:images (1) Its that simple.

At 07:00 its Sunday now and I’m tyred so since its supposed to be the day of rest, that’s what I intend to do R E S T !!, except for toew calls.

See Ya’ll on the highway,

THEM PESKY INFOMERCIALS AND WHAT U NEED TO KNOW

COOTERS GEARZ HEDDER BIGCOOTERS PHOOTENOTES_thumb

Okay before I get started on my morning rant here need to relate some important info. As Ben would say it, Here’s the 5X5 from Hazzard.

Looks as though this west coast Cooter , might and I mean just might be finally after 20 years is going to be running as a hitched up highway hookin Confederate. Yep if all things I’m getting from my lady, Ole Cooter here is a getting hitched Hazzard style. Along with all the trappings more on Friday nights entry, but oh does it feel good. In time I’ll have a gal who looks hotter than a two dollar pistol and has the beauty of a true Latino Southern Belle, whose eyes could melt a cheese sandwich from across a room. Ain’t done my normal jumping in the sack yet, waiting until I tie the knot , as it’s the Christian thing to do. Plus my lady needs to get her current divorce final first. But it made me feel more important than Boss Hogg at a Hazzard County social last night at Anchors me with the hottest gal in the place, and all mine. Like Roscoe would say, “ I just love it, I love it.”

Seems as though rumblings from Hazzard says that there is a future edition of the Dukes in the works, and talks are going on, to put the Dukes back on TV on what is Family Net, a subsidiary of Rural TV/RFDTV.

Our doing? Only in part.

Also HazzardAyre the movie begins in May, so big doings for our soul of Hazzard County.

Okay then, you see late at night those pesky damn infomercials, and you think , “ Dang not this again?” But thar tiz Liz.

Some idiotic product or service that is poorly made, will come apart at high speeds and is susceptible to udder destruction at the slightest touch. Sounds like a new member of the Hazzard County Cheerleader squad, but no its not all that good.

However , not all of these products suck lead bricks.

One in particular is the MySleep Pillow. Ain’t ordered it yet, but the company involved is very credible.

What many of you don’t know is, TV networks and stations airing these half hour TV ads, get a kick back besides the time air rate. Many stations get at minimum of 15% sales commission on each one of those damn products sold.

The reason so many stations and networks run these things is TV ad sales themselves are not all that good right now, so to make the cash for their stash, they run infomercials.

Now then what if, and I mean if, a radical rebel hot rod everything club out west with its core being of Hazzard County and the Dukes were all of a sudden running a club membership recruitment informational infomercial?

That in my next entry, but my lady Helen, is due to be here at 10:00 Hours, so I’m off the sleep.
