so let’s Spend some money with the bastards

GA DASH HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER

Only a few days now until I have my master computer with all my gadgets back.

Thanks to the Uinta View Ward of Evanston , the equipment in Utah will be, being hauled up here on the 27th of February, and should be back online full throttle by April.

Then the final piece to my puzzle, bringing LexiBelle here to Evanston, and all will be right in my world.

Which brings me to several of the things that was discussed preve night, here at the Wentworth through a web conference of the Knytes High Council.

First reviving the SpeedTV channel, who better than the Knytes to do it and bringing to light Highway Hooker TV the only news and lifestyle TV show for us who tow. See www.highwayhookertowblog.blogspot.com for details.

Our young (and I do mean young) all around fix it person here at the Wentworth, decided to have several of his friends here overnight, which kept me awake.

Next the Knytes are getting froggy and eager to nearly take over this tiny town on the edge of the Wyoming/Utah border.  Not so much as Evanston is a great place albeit okay to exist in, but because we can do business in Utah, without having to live there with the high taxes and all. This includes licensing of Knytes Industries and so on.

One of the other things we discussed was the Wentworth, here.  While the domestic campus management is doing an excellent job thanks totally to Janet the current management , the company that oversees her and owns this facility is going in the toilet.

As it is most contractors for things such as plumbing, electrical, etc will not come out here to the Wentworth fearing not getting paid.  Just this last week I saw CenturyLink, damn near cut em off due to not paying the bill.

Much renovation needs to be done here to bring the facility to code, despite grandfather clauses, many of which will expire this year, according to sources that HazzardAyre news talked to.

So the Knytes are going to do what it always does, buy out the Wentworth, update, upgrade, and renovate. Lower rent to low cost housing requirements, and lower rent rates to area needs not the high rent rates that those in Lewiston Idaho or Eagle Idaho compare to. Dig this; looked into the company website that currently owns the Wentworth here. Its not very transparent.

I look at this from two points, the main one being Janet. First if there were to be a full on disaster here, say plumbing break or such, the fix it person here is too young, and not a licensed contractor. Should a flood or fire occur here, the law suit would divulge that the maintenance work was performed by someone that had no business doing the work, which the owners of this property would ultimately go back after Janet, who is in a somewhat difficult spot to begin with money wise.

Two; this is where I live and where HazzardAyre will be housed until other facilities are found. Which means, fire , flood or a window falling out due to not being sealed, means $40k of radio gear, would be lost, and second to that I could be harmed or die.

Solution? The Knytes, buys the Wentworth, fix it up, add some things and make the place, biker friendly.

Getting us in front of the unknowing eyes of the public, on Yahoo, and Facebook trending pages. That will be in an upcoming report here in HazzardAyre, but I want to say, I’m tired of the phony selections on Yahoo’ front page. Before you click on that link that says its taking you to a site for news you really want to read about, look at the bottom. If it says a SPONSORED PAGE, DO NOT CLICK ON IT !!!  because if you do, it’ll take you to a malware site and your going to get hacked.

Stay tuned, I gotta go and take some Goody’s agx-130_1z since the fix it person here had a all night party I’m holding my head rather gingerly.

Dang it if your going to party hardy , invite me.

Its Friday the 13th

GA DASH PROWLIN

Darksides logo_thumb Or at least it was Friday the 13th.  The insatiable black magic world considers this to be a somewhat holiday, and while I’m not one for a huge amount of superstition .

I’m still very cautious in my day on Friday the 13’.

First I will not go very far from the office or home which right now is one and the same, subject to change in months to come. Second there is the weather. Thankfully today was mild, but the days its rainy or snowy out I’m in my little corner of the world huddled up with a good book or taking some serious siestas. There’s just no need to push the elements or limits. Even today our maintence guy here at the Wentworth. Found some problems with valves doing a faucet replacement in MY APARTMENT.   With no shut off valves this could be a problem should a major break occur. Especially at night. I ain’t worried , but the gal below me might get one rude awakening if that happened.

So yesterday was Friday the 13th, I’m safe, warm, and okay.

It’s now time for bed and oh yes, this is where I now live>wentworth

The Last frontier of Independent trucking is towing

GA DASH HIGHWAY HOOKER TOEW TYMEZ HEDDER REVIZED

Darksides logo_thumb As the last two hours of a rather restful day comes to an end I wanted to share a few things with some of ya’ll.

First, and its part of a subject for a different entry, but since most if not all TV has gone digital, I find myself even with cable , having to go out and buy a new TV or if possible find one in a pawn shop. Seems as though since no coax in, no coax out, thus only RCA plugs and need to find a way to seize the signal. So with that I was forced to watch Hulu and a show called Big Rig, talking about the demise of the independent trucker.

The days of owner/operator long haul cowboy hauling is over or just about there. There just is no more room for one or two truck small fleets or single truck haulers. It’s be part of or lease a truck to a big conglomerate company or park the truck, pull the keys and go do another job.

However there is and my focus here this evening, there is one bastion of independent hauling and trucking left. Towing.

That’s right 24 7 365 snag, drag and hook em up towing.

Where one with enough stamina , guts, and dedication can still , albeit small, but ink out a living.

Oh sure there are the bigger mega fleets, with multiple trucks and major dollars invested and subsequent headaches, still in small rural and rural/urban environments , a guy(or gal) can still get out and boogey with a truck and feed a family.

Which brings me to two final thoughts , one, why did SpeedTV relinquish and sell out to FoX Sports? And two could a new SpeedTV or a variant be created to be what if not better than what SpeedTV was? Why do I bring that up you ask?

Simple; SpeedTV began running one of those part reality shows that was the foundation to many going towing TV shows. Only Wrecked really showed what its like out there in the toew world. Idea? Let’s do that again, and the title? Highway Hooker TV.

Oh sure there’s those shows on TruTV like South Beach Tow, but those are more dramatic and partly scripted with little in the real true reality of towing. If most of us tried those tactics we’d either be in jail, broke from one smellofahess law suit, or worse.

But running a camera in trucks particularly in a rural setting showing what us independents do, go through and risk we endure to safely and damage free as possible , do to rescue stranded motorists and disabled vehicles around the clock every day and all night.

So while long haul independent trucking may be on its way out, there is still the final frontier of independence in trucking, it is towing.

My thoughts I could be wrong.

Its getting back together , but there is one last battle

GA DASH AYRETRAXX

Before I get into my nightly report rant here, I’d like to say , I had a great dinner over at one of my neighbors here at the Wentworth. While the taters were a bit bland and the gravy not very thick, the meatloaf was great and the conversation even better.

Next , I’m very concerned and saying many prayers for the hot mama that manages this complex. Not only is her and hubbys financial condition not very healthy, her domestic environment is a bit shakey. No I’m not looking to hit on her, or anything but after the last 8 months of being dumped on, by everything from swindlers, scallywags, carpetbaggers, promises made but not kept, verbal agreements crapped on, and not up held. I get feeling very sympathetic to someone else getting dumped on. Janet is too nice a gal to be having this happen to her. I have watched this gal hammer away in a cramped office dealing with micromanagement , that would choke a horse. Tenants that don’t respect her albeit minimized authority. Then, doing the fix up here on getting new apartments ready, scrubbing places, painting, everything to where her blood sugar goes south, her fingers bleed, and yet she does this for only $12.00 an hour? Really. She ought to be paid more. Look for this complex to be under new ownership in 5 years or less.

Can you imagine it? The Wentworth, owned by the Knytes-of-Anarchy? I can and it ain’t that much of a stretch of that imagination.

Okay then.

With General JaxSon>ced61ee8b38b44b2aeaacc7edc950516 here now, the radio gear to be here by the end of the month, there is only one last battle. Bringing LexiBelle>adxelexi here to Wyoming, which will fully complete the first volley of this project. From March to August its radio station, from August to November its Cooter’s Toewing, and in 2016 about January its HCC. As far as the Reaper, as reported that project has been shelved until a liquor license can be had.

I can see a light at the end of a very long tunnel, just hope its not another train on our track coming at us from the opposite direction.

Last, here; pitched the idea of the nice gal who fed the old Wolf here preve eve the concept of being an associate producer, for HazzardAyre Radio. Not much pay more volunteer, don’t know if she’ll take us up on the gig, but she’s not stupid. A bit slow perhaps, but slow as molasses intelligence is the normal for both Evanston and Yankees in general.

Talk to you L8R Aviators.

This is not going to go well

GA DASH COOTERS JOURNAL1EXE

By now you have heard, that a Federal Judge has ordered that Alabama start issuing gay marriage licenses. Remember the same process’ were enacted when President Johnson started ordering equal treatment for blacks in busing .  When governments start blasting at states to do things, its abusing both its power and authority to legalize morality, when some communities and areas do not want it. Call it an abuse on religious freedom. These abuses are what bred the disloyalty and anger that was in part the base of the war of Northern aggression and invasion. And its about to do that now. Out here in the west with three states about to take the same gender marriage thing again, they being Utah Idaho and Wyoming. Where religious and morals say no to same gender unions, is reeking havoc. Lets face it we have allowed the Federal Government of this nation of ours to get too big, to fussy and all to big headed. Our states have few if any authority any more to do what they need to do by the voice of their constituents .

When this happens we get to becoming more communistic not democratic. Our rights are leaving us every day. We let foreigners in when they shouldn’t be. Our borders are no longer protected and the entire moral compass is out of sync.

Face it, God has been taken , no God has been benched from the game. Life is no longer governed by individual rights and liberties. Enough. God meant man to take woman as a wife and life partner. Same gender marriage is against all teachings of our Heavenly Father. His son Jesus Christ did not die on a cross to allow a bunch of sick minded people no matter why, to wed. God made man with certain biological equipment, women with certain equipment to work in tandem with each other, not for us to take technology to buy toys that allow women to pleasure women, and seeing a guy smooch another guy in a sexual nature or worse sodomy is just not right. As a southerner I can not wrap my head around these ideals. As a Mormon I despise and get sick over such issues. Our southern states are rolling over each other by allowing by Federal mandates to over throw their cultural and moral values and traditions. It’s time to put a stop to it. If such things make you mad as well, please join with us here in The Knytes-of-Anarchy, to begin the procedure to field a candidate for President of this union to make it a real United States and elect a President under the United Confederate Party. Contribute money, or better yet contribute time in spreading the word that this moral, and Godless nation is way off course and needs to be brought into tune. Its time to let Dixie Rise.

Nylon stockings are still popular especially in London and the UK

GA DASH COOTERS JOURNAL1EXE

Before any of you who know me well get to thinking that this early morning post has anything to do with my nylon stocking on hotter women fetish, don’t think this is what this post is about.

I was watching an episode of Fresh Meat on Hulu you know the UK based series from the BBC on college life, kind of a Big Bang Theory set in Manchester England.

Any mile, so was watching and while not all of the scenes showed gals in hosiery, many of them did , and what I get from this is, the gals in Brittan and the UK, are more fashionably conscience and not ashamed to show of their lower limbs in nylons or at least fashion leggings.

So I again put out the question why don’t women in the USA especially the younger gals copying their English counter parts?

Okay as promised.

Today marks the one year anniversary of the great migration from Twin Falls Idaho to Utah.  That migration was mostly driven by needing a bigger more stable pipeline for HazzardAyre Radio.

Over the year of 2014, I have seen more headaches, and a downward spiral, near to my property mangers husbands pending bankruptcy.

We moved into a slum apartment in Ogden, where the tacos living above me’ kids made so much damn noise running across their floor, my ceiling , that it sounded like the Cavalry was marching. But I overcame that, only to find the taco couldn’t sleep with me doing radio below him. So I started looking for inexpensive office space, to turn into a 24/7 radio studio.  Even then finances were tight, but I found what I thought was an Oasis, in Woods Cross Utah. The first thing that crippled me was a flood at the apartment in Ogden. Turn on sprinklers to water the back lawn and it bubbled up under the cement floor , through the padding and carpet. For nearly a month from the mold poisoning I could not hardly breathe much less do radio. So then came the first guy to a be a room mate. Pay half the rent maybe spread some bread on the utilities. First the guy gets off the forking bus, comes to me but only has half of the deposit, and no last months rent. But I’m a kind soul so let him in. That arrangement did not last a month. A month goes by and the guy doesn’t pay the landlord Dave half of the rent, as he was to do, nor did he help with utilities. Then after having a triad, the guy wanted money from me. Really? Never paid the entire deposit, nor the last months rent. Out he went only after I got landlord Dave to rent the guy a house next door that he owned.  Between Jeff leaving and August, after I gave a character recommendation to Aarons so Jeff could get a bunch of stuff. I had to to keep peace, not because I owed it, but hey it was the less of two evils, bought some grub for Jeff. But to retain the office and pay for the car to get fixed that never really got repaired, just a patch job,  and retain the office and all in Woods Cross, I started looking for another room mate. Granted the room wasn’t big, but under the right conditions and a bit of fix up it could have been livable.

So got this tree hugging, nature food guy who said he was a Navy vet, moved in. I at least got $150.00 out of the bastard, but again he told me he had paid half of the old gas bill and part of the power bill. Come to find he never paid one damn dime.

Then late September, after a month and a half of not getting a bill from Comcast, I kept asking for one, oh it got delivered to our place at Woods Cross, just got put in the box for OUR office. John at I4 said our office got mail through I4. Until I cornered the Post Office delivery guy one late Friday. So after many a heated discussion with Comcast I had to rake out just under $3,000.00 . If John had just told me that there was a separate box for OUR office. But hey mistakes are made, deep down outside of one there I don’t think anybody else there wanted our style of business there at all, especially renegade Military aviator/bikers.  But HazzardAyre Radio began to grow. We started to get noticed, word spread throughout the entire Confederate historical community, biker world and aviation circles that there was a real online radio station dedicated to the southern cause, bikers and the two wheeled lifestyle and of course Vintage military aviation. Then came early October, landlord Dave says I gotta move. I had been looking already, but that $3,000.00 took most of any deposit or pre pay rent money right outta my account as well as the AyreWolvez ‘ account. So for a month and half had to sleep in the office, no shower and all it got messy, but I was able to get a landline and all from CenturyLink installed. I had a place tagged in Tooele Utah, for $450.00 a month all everything paid, that and the office in Woods Cross was just a 80 mile commute. But then got word in late November that an AM radio station here near Evanston was going dark. Some investigation said it could be bought. So the AyreWolvez got on gear. So to accommodate I trucked up here on the 27th of November, stayed overnight looked around and got into what was billed as an apartment, but turned out to be a trashy trailer house out in the middle of nowhere. Yellow Creek in Evanston is about as remote as this old wolf wants to prowl.  Knowing that would not work out long was already looking at just going back to Woods Cross, crashing in the motel next door and finding something else to live in, when on the 15th two incidents occurred, our main Treasurer of the Knytes, and my cousin passed away. So it took two weeks to straighten that out, I had got what I thought would be a good business partner in NGL up here, but ya’ll know what happened there. Some gal who worked there took something out of context threw a cookie and on the 2nd of January out came NGL took my only means of communications and in the process I fell down some rickety steps fractured to almost broke my hip, crunched my knees. The neighbors next door got me better. But hey we are not through yet, I was in the process of moving out of that trailer to Woods Cross, when LiL Wolf overheated. I thought it was a blown head gasket. Found out through our club member here who runs a truck service shop that there was water that had froze during three days of 30 below temperatures . After pouring in two gallons of antifreeze LiL Wolf would run, but needed some extra work. So had to get around. One of our ward members took me down to First Stop Auto in Layton to fetch the General Jaxson,(Subaru car) and after the exchange of $280.00 had car. Now John at I4 considered that I had abandoned the office. Fact is I did not abandon anything, just had no way to get in touch, neither phone nor Internet. Cell phone was in the office in Woods Cross. So after I got moved to the new digs with some dedicated help from Janet here at the Wentworth, last week got together with the Bishop,  who said he’d pay the bill of $1507.00 to bail out the radio gear and all from I4. Although considering I was understanding about the situation of Comcast and the mailbox they’d have at least knocked off some of what I owed to just the back rent. But they have held onto my equipment and all, so I guess we’re equal. So there’s the gig on why HazzardAyre has been off the air for the last three months. However my hip is just about able to handle normal movement. Can’t do stairs too good with my busted knee, so limp around with a cane. If all goes well next week should be off to fetch the gear set it up here, and should be up on air by May or so.

Again need to get some sleep.

Nice to be back in Hazzard County

ga dash2 COOTERS JOURNAL1EXE

Nice to be back with Hazzard County. Saw on the news last night Hazzard was 10 degrees warmer than here in Evanston Wyoming where I’m at , bringing a new station to over the air status and installing a new unit of Cooter’s Toewing(more on that in a few laps here).

Of course Hazzard County Choppers and of course rounding it out is of Cooter’s Grill here, so much going on. We had a vision of putting both and bar here together, out of what used to be Lotty’s Bar and Grill with Cooter’s Grill/Reaper Club, but no liquor license available for a decent price, plus $4,000.00 a month. We lost interest in a bar , but a southern eating, place well that was a horse of a different breed.

Okay onto my view of Evanston. I promised this in the Wolf Tymez so I’ll deliver that here.

Evanston overall is a albeit cold as heck, weather wise and a tough struggle at the opening gate, but there are some damn great people, here willing to go the extra mile for anyone who will stick to it enough to carry something out to its conclusion or at least duration. From the people who lived next to me at the trailer house, that nursed me back to health when I fractured my hip and crunched my knee out on Yellow Creek, to Janet who did not give up on me getting into the new digs here at the Wentworth. You can’t judge a whole town or area, based on just a few jerks, and buttwipes.

Now is this all enough to make me dig in and stay put? The answer is NO, and I mean NO. Come November or so if not before, my rear end, and some of the business is moving back into Idaho, but nearer to my family in Grace/Soda Springs Idaho.

While I didn’t find everything I wanted or that would benefit the Knytes here in Evanston, from my current Bishop, to medical care its not bad.

Finally, I rewatched this feature on the E channel, on the Dukes-of-Hazzard. Trouble is its not very accurate and very open for filling in for details that were rearranged to fit the E channel feature.

Ben Jones (aka Cooter) might have tried out for the role of Cooter for the Dukes, but the character Cooter from the pilot movie that ignited the Dukes, was a scoundrel, working with a mafia type trying to put Uncle Jessie’s shine business. Ben was on the MoonRunners as well, as one of the revenuer agents that blew up a still and made the suggestion to put a tracking device on Bo the mule. Bo was later to be the name gave to one of the Dukes.  You can almost , word for word, get the introduction of Sheriff Roscoe from Shiloh County, on the Moon Runner as you got on the first episode of the Dukes. There are many other transitions there if one wants to look it over well.  In the MoonRunners , we had the name of the stock car as Traveler , General Robert E Lee’s horse, and the lead character was named Bobby Lee. Of course that got switched over as the car got named the General Lee. On that, the General was not painted orange on purpose, or to stand out , rather the original shade was John Deere Construction Yellow which as the story line went , was the only paint left in Cooter’s shop to paint some fork lifts. The number 01 came about as the General was the 1st car the two Duke boys ever built.

Any way , got to hit the rack as I need to go to the hospital to get some lab work done and in a few weeks going to get the scope up my butt exam.  But not before I go rescue the radio gear from I4 down in Woods Cross Utah. More on that in my next entry here on HazzardAyre.
