Unfinished business first before withdrawl of forces.

new blog coverDAILY GRIND

There are some projects that need to be completed before our grand exit, from the greater Twin Falls/Tragic Valley area by the Knytes-of-Anarchy.

First , understand the Knytes was founded in Hagerman in 1982 with 15 grassroots, kountry southern culture minded gearheads at the then Polish Palace, now Snake River Grill. This means although today shallow the roots of the club are here. Thus it was decided that while we are in the process of selling off one of our three radio signals in the Buhl and West-Point Idaho area we are retaining two, the one in West Point and our original signal in Buhl. Those two radio .stations will be completed and put on the air within a few months shy of this time next year. Meaning all the sweat I and the limited radio committee has put in will not go for nothing. If ya’ll thought HazzardAyre Radio was leaving, think again.

Second the honorary memorial for the club at the door and on the wall of The Snake River Grill will be erected in October on the 31st birthday which just so happens to be the day, we had our first meeting there in 1982 and yes it is Halloween . Be watching here for more on that.

Last is the Hazzard Nationals-aka/DukesFest West. The largest even of its kind ever to be in the area since 1975. When our first big gearheads , cb-radio , truckers jamboree hit that year in Filer at the Twin Falls Fairgrounds. Next year just as then right at 250,000 people will crowd the grandstands and area to witness the classiest as well as the most home grown hot rods, bikes, trucks and experience southern culture ever.

With some top named entertainers on a full soundstage like you have never seen before. The event will roll out next fall just prior to or slightly after the Twin Falls County Fair, keep checking here for dates.

What the Hazzard Nationals will promise is Twin Falls itself will swell to just over 300,000 people that will be eating, sleeping, and experiencing the hopefully hospitality of Twin Falls unlike this town has had in years. Just hope Twin Falls is ready. And that locals who had their thumb up their nose, concerning doing business with and being of assistance to the Knytes, will not be so stuck up. Maybe a few of those coming might want to put up a extension of one of their companies here. The proceeds of the Hazzard Nationals will go to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Salt Lake City and Bo Duke’s Miracle Network Children’s Hospitals.

More news in the PM, headed up to the fire line, maybe tonight I’ll get some sleep, last night I was up until 06:00 with the city of Twin Falls’ street and public works department having the audacity to be doing work that started at just 01:30 hours. I still think the city ought to give each resident within a 5 block radius of that $30.00 or at least the value of 3 hours of missed work due to missed sleep, at the rate of $10.00 an hour.

Until this afternoon,
