TV can become reality if you learn and let it.
No I’m not talking of reality TV, I’m talking of taking drama TV to reality.
example, us as a club.
Back in 1978 just shy of 3 months owning LexiBelle, Bro and I say down in front of the TV .
With only one good TV signal coming into West-Point Idaho at the time, we flipped on the Dukes.
At that point the Dukes had not yet really became a thought. Sure 3 years earlier, a few of that shows
production execs came to the farm to go hunting but, that’s all I knew of it, much less cared, then.
Of course, following that the story lines and imagery were incorporated into the club, and after our version of ye
ole General Lee did well at the Salt Lake City Autorama in 1981 well the birth of the Hazzard County Knytes, which became the Knytes-of-Anarchy of today.
Yes you can make TV into reality, not just more reality TV. Moral, and life lessons, can be gleaned. If only one wants to absorb them.
Speaking of TV, of yesteryear.
We lost a great talent last week, Robbie Douglas of the old TV series My Three Sons passed away, after a long battle with cancer.
Speaking of bringing TV to life, Disney which should be a parental partner for youth is also as stimulating to us adults.
Up until December of last year , watching the Disney Channel was the last thing I’d do. Seemed to well, juvenile. But with little to nothing on as I did my overnight gigs on air, I started watching.
At first it was Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Gomez had me wrapped around her little toe so I began watching more. Then came Good Luck Charlie, while a family based sitcom, the show had some choice moments. Then came the shocker rocker, Shake-it-up. Once I saw that the long term personal project to put that in front of Idaho was in gear. While still in the works, it is my goal to produce a real life version of Shake-it-Up as , Shake-it-up Idaho
Shortly after gaining the talent base, the production facilities and all became a real goal. Still is, look for that come next March.
Just because its on TV, with a scripted outcome, does not mean that the idea or concepts presented can’t be brought into real life. Hey look at us with SAMCRO. To the Knytes , SAMCRO is more than just a TV show about bikers.
To the Knytes , SAMCRO / SOA is divine inspiration. It was one late September night in Glenn’s Ferry after realizing a change in the Knytes was needed. So we were sitting watchin TV, it was we feel guided that we just happened to turn on FX, and that SOA just happened to be what we saw.
Since then we met the REAL SAMCRO MC, became part there-of and so we are.
It’s like reading the bible, instead of picking the bible apart verse by verse, sit down and read it collectively, completely. Not only will it make more sense, and sink in faster. You’ll find it much more enjoyable, and able to be mainstreamed into your life.
So, yes, TV can Become Reality, if you learn and let it.
