Anybody got any Mentholatum or similar?

knytecyde hedderAKNYTERYDERHEADER

Nytes like this is when I could REALLY use a chest rub with something like Mentholatum, Vicks anything. Might open my nose.

Okay then , education is needed to open the door to knowledge. Although I hate howlin and barking on just the clubs history every once in awhile its required for the new comers that enter the Wolf Pack, and the Knyte House.

Okay then, the easy path here is that the Knytes was created on two basic foundations. To be a group, based on the TV show the Dukes-of-Hazzard as well as being a place for gear heads that live here in rural America, really rural Idaho, where bolt on hot rod parts are not on the shelf at the local speed shop. In fact you really can’t say speed shop these days, as a speed shop today, means a source for some heavy duty narcotics, in our day it meant a place to buy go fast look trick parts for a truck or car what we called a Street Machine or muscle car.

The club though had its roots in late 1968, when a cub scout Den mother got us kids interested in tricking out Hot Wheels cars and trucks. As we grew up a bit our interests turned to our pedal bikes, then to ones with engines. The original name became the Street Commanders Club. In mid 1973 with me finding good old cb , and loving everything about old skool trucking, a delinquent youth based cb club here in Twin Falls called the JR-14 , needed a facelift. My dad got involved and when my pa got involved things are not done bare bones. We went to the Gooding County Extension agent, I took the best of the 4-H wheels program, the 4-H tractor safety program and launched a cb radio 4-H project that melded together, became what became the the TeenAge Truckers Association in 1975, We threw the gall darnest trucker cb jamboree this valley ever saw. Well over 200,000 people flooded the Filer Fairgrounds in Filer Idaho 10 miles west of Twin Falls. In 1979 the TTA was reworked as the Road Commander Association, that evolved into the United American Independent Truckers Association, that became the parent group of what started as the Hazzard County Knytes in 1982.

In 2008, with some weaning of love of things Dukes, and this is where God gets involved very seriously.

I was residing in Glenn’s Ferry, watching satellite TV. This one night, the only channel on that worked was FX, God decided to show up big time, he must have dumped must have 5 feet of snow.

Of course my bros and I were there chatting about the future of the club, and with FX the only channel on, meant the first season of Sons of Anarchy, divine inspiration struck, truckers are just bikers with more steel and wheels, so a re-engineer on the names and retaining the Hazzard history kept Knytes, combined with Anarchy brings in SAMCRO. Talk about a group built by God, it is The Knytes-of-Anarchy, and as we say; Out of Anarchy, Comes Order.

Why the radio and media stuff? Simple, none of the other media outlets here both print, radio or TV would give us the time of day , still wont. So we gave them the big,AYRE FINGER and built our own media network, spread out over 4 Mountain western states, the Knytes simply kicks butt.

Any mile bro & sis’ this old Wolf is beat, but does anyone have any Mentholatum or Vicks?

I’ll be up for another hour with pants on if someone does.
